Seeing all the crap that came out of the cpu and gpu blocks makes me glad I decided not to mess with water cooling.
the only issue I see here with the water cooling gear are those EK classic tube fittings, EK have stopped making them, the last couple of years before they tried to force people into using those awful quantum fittings, the quality was so bad that they didnt even brand the classic fittings with the ek logo, their PETG tube quality is pretty crap these days as well.
Amazing work as always brother. It is always incredibly satisfying watching old systems getting restored to their former glory. I can’t wait to see more videos in the new series as I think it will do really well for you.
I also love buying pc parts on the used market that people don't treat right and turning it into something incredible. For me, its about breathing in new life and making the most out of these devices that attracts me.
Really inspirational video. I have often considered buying old broken systems to try and salvage as much from them as possible. I think you said you paid $20 for this which to me sounds like an absolute steal considering the amount of parts that were fully functional by the end of your cleanup operation. Very impressive work guys, very, very impressive indeed.

it's very satifying how much fps it produced and how it was able to play those games given the price of the pc, although sucks mother board got bent pin.
If all fans were exhaust, then how did they get clogged with dust? And how did dust end up on the inside of the case if there was constant underpressure? Something doesn't add up here.
just in case anyone needs to know. if you have an old system with liquid that has dyed your clear hard tubing, run dawn dish soap with distilled water to clean off the dye.
Hello. I just want to ask. I'm watching how you apply thermal paste to the CPU and I think it's not quite right. Did you then try to remove the cooler again and see where there were free spaces on the CPU where the thermal paste did not reach? I recommend spreading the thermal paste evenly over the entire surface of the CPU. This will ensure that the entire surface is free of air bubbles.
Can you please put the link of the market place, and if you sell one of your restored pc's maybe some of us will want to buy them. Great job and keep it up! ❤

All the pc parts gung-ho aside, those ROG Maximus mobos definitely has some charms of being so buff hardware wise it felt like it compliments the rest components around it, like it's the best thing about Asus ROG boards.
This was an amazing enthusiast's rig when it was first put together. Those water blocks and custom loop alone probably cost upwards of 600-800 when this was first put together. Not sure how you could call this "scammed", You were given something at like 1/4th of it's value.
I'd never buy anything with an old Gigabyte motherboard, however nice board upgrade :) Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero? If you look hard enough you can find 6700k for $100aud usually on gumtree, delid, liquid metal and can get 4.7 to 4.8ghz overclock stable :) Would be cool to see some tweaking happening, watched 2 of your rebuilds so far and that's the only detail lacking everything else is spot on man!
