DIY Microlocs Installation Process | Two-strand twists | Freestyled part sizes

In this video, I'll be showing you how I installed my DIY micro locs using two-strand twists. I did not use any measuring tools to make my loc sizes even, I just freestyled with the sizes. Just wondering if your hair had any product in it when you blow dried or and if u used any butters, gels or anything at all when parting or twisting your hair :)

Great question! No I did not. I knew it would take me a few days to install and worried my hair would start getting dirty if I had product in it. No gels, oil or butters when parting or twisting.

I’m starting my self install loc journey …. I have a question…. What is braiding and banding?

Hey! I'm actually going to be putting out a video on this later this week + showing how I do it. Braiding and banding is taking sections of your locs and literally braiding it (think of box braids but larger sections) and folding the ends with rubber bands, hair ties etc. The point is to keep your locs from slipping and unraveling.
