Why do what to do it maybe the could help with the anxiety and fear. Age does not matter, yes so graduate programs say they want someone 35 and below they are other ways to get in the industry
If I may ask....as a computer science undergrad student..I'm facing an issue/or pressure of completing my undergrad degree..does ignoring the short term courses or tasks presented by the institution to final year students will hit me somewhere or should I consider taking them...they are somehow needed when you apply for internships or job opportunities?
@pt_mkhwanazi that's why I'm ignoring them for now....they'll consume my studying time and I wanna secure my average for honors..so I'm not taking any chances

if the university is offering it I would say take it but not when it going to affect you in getting the degree( time to study ).
the certificates you get from the short course are important, they make your CV look good ( it can land you an interview ) but the degree is important
you can always do the certificate later
