Gulio Cesare was actually the first toxic BB, out-spotting and over-matching all Tier V cruisers. Thankfully they never repeated that huge mistake..... .....until Thunderer and now monsters like the Vermont/Lauria, etc.
Unironically, I think the low speed is an extra advantage, as it turns the average overextending battleship player into a proper midrange artillery platform that might even kill something before the game ends or his boat burns down.

I was just on WOWS Ship Tool to check out the Vermont sigma. And yes it is 1.95. But I noticed something I didnt know - North Carolina has the best sigma of any US BB 2.05. So yeah, NC can slap. It is still such a good ship once you get used to the shell arcs and travel time.
If you can swing to the PvE side of ships, the Vermont grind is quite pleasant in Operations with an 'ops build' that is almost all offense (including Furious + CQC for max reload, no you never take this build into PvP) and Kansas uptiers fantastically since you just click Azuma / Yoshino broadsides for full pen / citadels and can manage your health relatively easily with USN DCP and quick cooldown heals. But yeah both are pretty much FXP bait in PvP, Ovalsota especially since you're the worst 12x16" gun BB at a tier that is full of them while the Kansas at least does have the heaviest T8 broadside.
I wouldn't mine if you made a video breaking down the DD, CA, and BB roles or an aiming focused video. One of the things that irritate me the most is when I miss lots of my shots, because I feel like my aim is bad I don't play BB's and play more objective focused. I bet you have valuable experience you could share in the finer points on aiming and armor and how it works. I've heard alot between watching all your videos but a dedicated video might be nice.
Vermont was my first t10 ship, but i still can't play it or any other battleship for that matter. you had more 200k battleship games in 5 matches than i have had in 2500 matches. well done.
You get to play a little mini game with the planes between reloads, and if you need spotting in a pinch, you can do that too. I shudder to think what the legendary mod or even the supership of that line will be.
In December if you complete the north pole missions and get to milestone 7500 you will get to pick a tier 10 ship, you "could if you want" pick up Vermont then for free i guess and skip the grind, if that is how it is going to work.
I hate torp protection hits. It's pure 'troll armor' where you aim where you 'should' aim and get zero damage. At best, torp protection should have an HP pool like other hull regions, and once it's saturated the damage passes through to the hull. In fact, I kinda hate zero damage 'hits' in general. I don't think there'd be as much demand for overmatch if ricochets/shatters/nonpens did some 5% pittance of damage. Probably have to nerf the 300k DPM ultralights that are 'designed' to light fires and do nothing else. Nerf overmatch and nerf troll armor at the same time.
yes, for some reason wargaming decided that torpedo protection isn't armor and therefore shells that pass through or impact torp protection but don't hit other armor will always deal zero damage.
i complain daily about what they did to my old Vermont guns. The guns were legit twice as good overall, but since it was "hard to play" no one played it
I don't see why WG doesn't just release a carbon copy of the old Vermont "call it Utah or something" for coal or maybe for RB since WG moved past coal ships, apparently.
@@dadyorj2323 I’d love Oregon perhaps as a vermont(release version) but then take away the torpedo belt and give it a speed boost to have it at least be more interesting than a carbon copy vermont
Something I didn't even remember to say is that Vermont also has 50% citadel repair (lmfao)
is that even nessesary at this point lol?
I look forward to ur uploads. I personally think you give the most informative WOWS videos on yt.
Thanks for every single one of your videos. Like 👍 just before watching.
Always enjoyable! This and G4ngB3rang are the best.
@@EvoraGT430, I agree with you my friend and watch both of them. Their work is amazing.

@@EvoraGT430 and still unfortunately bb players state is today that both u and I know very well in wows and things like Lauria are the result of that

Yep, it's hard to overextend in the fattleship line and if they're just gonna camp in back, they'd do it anyway.
that's true, it's very hard to "get in trouble" in Vermont without long duration stupidity
@@BruderRaziel it has low speed but has excellent acceleration to the point that u can't even take acceleration module on it
Dude one of your vids popped into my recommended, and oh boy I stumbled upon treasure
thanks for joining the circle of complaining
The bb review I think we've all been waiting for. One of the few bbs I actually like to play.
Vermont is my favorite battleship, it's insane.

yeah but you cannot take accuracy mod so realistically NC is a bit of a shotgun

All we need now is the supership of the line to have 16 18 inch guns because reasons.
45s reload and 160k hp call it a day

What do you think about the third US BB line, the Louisana?
Fully cracked
it's ridiculous

Wahts the name of the mode u used for checking enemy angles that show in the center of u screen?
I think it's called the "Navigator" mod, and it should have like a v2 and v3 version so you can choose what style you like best. At least on Aslan's.
@@dadyorj2323 Its was in the American Mods, both I cant find it any more, Thanks any way!
Minnesota gets the Colorado's guns. Ground through it in 18 random games. Really wasn't that suffering , but no reason to ever play it again.

thanks
bro this ship one shotted me 2 times on Napoli from full HP at 18km
Vermont do be the most consistent one shotter on napoli in the game...anything with 30mm overmatch or improved pen angle ignores your turtleback
Vermont with legmod+reload mod == 31.6 secs reload

Can u do Missouri in randoms so u can show everyone how bad it is in 2024
