the band drawing(?) in the background made my heart clench, in a good way. Brian's voice is so incredibly pleasant btw, i feel like i could listen to it all day long..
I love how Brian presented this, not trying to force anyone into it, just trying to say, “here’s a whole ton of awesome stuff, remixed and remastered to make it sound just like it did when we were in the studio, if you want it, awesome, if not, thanks for being a fan”. Also, “Deacy looking, very Deacy” at 6:23 was a funny moment for sure.

Thank You Brian & Queen! Love the remix! Everything is so clear, like putting on my reading glasses. Please do the same with Queen II since I consider the first two albums to be companion pieces. Great memory hearing both albums at my sister's apartment back in the early 70's & asking her about this new band Queen whom I'd never heard.
Auto tuned Freddie is just not right, you lose the sweet , young , undeveloped Freddie of 1973, so full of hope and ambition and emotion, you can’t fix what ain’t broken ! We still love you Freddie
Fully agree! Much more please. I really want A KIND OF MAGIC done in the same way that the MIRACLE SESSIONS boxset were done. I want to hear QUEEN'S version of Sinatra's new York, new York.
I think it’s so beautiful the way Brian and Roger stayed true to queen after Freddie’s passing and they never forgot him. They still include Freddie in a lot of their interviews and such . I love the picture of Queen in the background . I would to have a copy of that on my wall
You will like this: I have not heard it! I just hate the software, what it did to music, what it did to artists, to the general appreciation of the voice as an instrument, what it did to my kids who think the crap they listen to is actually sung! It was just not necessary!
Rainbow '74 was a blessing. I've got both box sets: the 4 LP version and the CD, DVD and BluRay version. I don't regret buying them one bit. I bought the A Night At The Odeon double LP, but soon I realised that it was redundant if you have the Rainbow '74 box sets. What I truly want to see issued as a box set is a compilation of live recordings from the 75-76 tour, in which the band played many songs from A Night At The Opera... A Night At The Odeon includes only one song from that album! There's an excellent unofficial live recording from 30 January 1976 in Boston. It's like Rainbow '74 but with many songs from A Night At The Opera. It's what the band should have released after the Rainbow box set instead of A Night At The Odeon.
Thanks to the legendary and iconic guitar player in music world to this very day Mr. Brian Harold May i bought two important things from Queen collection , 1. Freshly made Queen monopoly board game , which is the most amazing thing i dreamed to get it for a very long time , 2. Recreated 1989 Queen album The Miracle , my second favorite album from the Queen musical journey ❤❤ it's so great to see how Brian May brings and introducing Queen music in new style for the beloved fans across the world ❤❤
Queen did play "The Night Comes Down" live, but you guys probably didn't record that performance. The song was performed on March 10, 1972, London. Lovely boxset!
Isn't this on the Opera Omnia box set? I just looked...apparently not. I thought it was, i have it in front of me ^^ It's been a while since i've listened to it in its entirety though.

We need a live box-set with all currently released live albums included and maybe some new stuff too. The albums were released recently as subscription set in some countries (Italy, Japan) but some of these albums are still difficult or expensive to obtain. To compliment my Studio Collection and Platinum Collection Box-sets, a live Box-Set would be fantastic and actually make the collection feel complete. P.S, can't wait for my Queen I box to arrive. :-)

Please give us an update on John Deacon. I know he’s quite private, but I’d love to hear more from him on his legendary bassist career. We only have a handful of that generation around anymore. Either way, this is a wonderful album package. I hope to add it to my album collection one day. 🤘 thank you Sir Brian.
These would be interesting....however, it appears from studies I've seen that ya'll have auto-tuned and likely used other electronic alterations of Freddie's voice. His voice needed NO enhancement or alterations. I can see altering EQ, or cleaning up some noise, etc...but to use AUTOTUNE on Freddie's vocals? Sacrilege.
Queen fan all my life! Why did you not object to altering Freddie's voice Brian? Why did you auto tune Freddie? Nothing is sacred anymore. Its an insult to Freddie, to mess with his voice. He isn't here to give you permission to do that. He would be horrified, I'm pretty sure about that! A huge insult to one of the greatest vocalists of all time.
Not auto-tuned exactly , 'pitch-correction' i.e. minor alterations to the vocal has been applied to every track with vocals, including Roger's. As they did with the 'Face It Alone' single. Disgraceful.
@@fordy701 I would not want pitch correction...and I don't want to hear tracks where they "fix" the beat to make it perfect timing. This kind of things SUCKS the humanity and life out of what were amazing performances. If I want to listen to "perfection" I'll just get AI to generate something.... Fixing the vocals to pitch and the beat to perfection....please, no....that has already ruined the music of today...don't steal the past and destroy it too.
@@chilecayenne I’m listening to it now on Spotify. The pitch corrections are subtle. I have the original on vinyl- first run of the American release. Queen was true to the original- tastefully and subtly done imo. On vinyl, you couldn’t really detect Freddie’s occasional pitchiness, but on CD or streaming, the pitch errors are problematic. I believe that Freddie would be fine with the tiny bits of touch-up they did here. Listening to “The Night Comes Down” right now. It sounds fabulous!!!!
I'm really really looking forward to holding the book. Anticipation for this has made me go back through the other boxes and some of those books are gorgeous. This looks to be the best yet. And yes, I can't wait to hear all of Queen I. Very excited for this.

@@boombapdoom493 Totally agree. Saw Queen in '82 (Leeds) and twice on The Magic Tour. Leeds was better, by far. The Works show, 01.09.84 at the N.E.C. in Birmingham was stellar too. It had all become a bit too overblown by 1986 and as you say, Freddie could not match the heights of his earlier shows. I'd like to have seen them in '79 but I was, by a slight margin, too young.
Leeds elland road was an amazing gig, one of brians favourites & it caused such a buzz, police were called to ask them to turn it down as peoples houses were shaking, thankfully they didn't & rocked the place to its core.. I love the Miracle special edition and listen to it often. I love that you started with that album. More please!
There's a NOTW special edition too! From 2017
Fully agree!
Much more please.
I really want A KIND OF MAGIC done in the same way that the MIRACLE SESSIONS boxset were done.
I want to hear QUEEN'S version of Sinatra's new York, new York.
Preordered this… fan of Queen since 73’ first single I got was Killer Queen in 74’ from Woolworths. Just having the extra 6CD content is worth it.
Brian, it's a fantastic boxset. Beautifully presented the book and live stuff are the holy grail
I am beyond excited for every single bit of this box set! Thank you will never be enough!💜💜💜
I would love to have this in my collection. So happy to see Brian is doing good. He's such a cutie 💓.
thanks for sharing, Brian! Always a super inspiration!
Sir Brian keeps the hype stickers!
like many record collectors! I also keep the hype stickers.
I think it’s so beautiful the way Brian and Roger stayed true to queen after Freddie’s passing and they never forgot him. They still include Freddie in a lot of their interviews and such . I love the picture of Queen in the background . I would to have a copy of that on my wall
They pitch-corrected one of the greatest vocalists of all time
OK, and? He overdubbed himself dozens of times because he hated some of his own live mistakes. He would absolutely be fine with pitch correction.
Source ???
Nonsense, you have no idea what your talking about.
I hate AutoTune with all of my heart. So I don't want this.
You will like this: I have not heard it! I just hate the software, what it did to music, what it did to artists, to the general appreciation of the voice as an instrument, what it did to my kids who think the crap they listen to is actually sung! It was just not necessary!
Thank you lovely sir Bri. Very exciting.....Christmas gift to myself for sure 🤗💖
Knowing that Brian May properly knows how to handle a vinyl record makes me VERY happy. Thanks for the late night Serotonin, sir.
I thought it was, i have it in front of me ^^
It's been a while since i've listened to it in its entirety though.
😢😢😢
Love queen I have 11 albums and Freddie's performance for Barcelona with Isabelle rossialini. Will purchase this cause I love u guys. Rip Freddie we know ur with these gus still in spirit.
Thanks for sharing Brian. Queen full circle ☯️
Hi Sir! Great job! Long live Queen 's Rock, forever!🎉
I'm so happy for you my friend, Sir Brian, that you're recovery is spotless and you're in good spirits! Much love! ❤❤❤❤
Hello 👋
Wow - that's great ! I love watching you unboxing precious things...
and - by the way you look great ,too !!! I hope you're doing fine and send you all my love!!! You will always be my hero, Brian - kisses and hugs ❣️ ❣️❣️ ❤️🌈❤️
The first 5 Queen albums are fabulous. Queen 1 & 2 are extraordinarily good
Thank you Dr Brian May.
QUEEN 1 is an awesome Box Set.
Beautiful and wonderful, congratulations!
I'm 68 years old and be a great fan since I was 16.
QUEEN FOREVER, ALWAYS ❣️
Hello 👋
Who cares?
@@CowboyPants-h5p Hello 👋
Sacrilege.
Agreed. Very sad
Wonderful! God bless you, Brian. ❤️🙏✝️
Thank you Brian! I've ordered the boxset in Japan and the picture vinyl in the UK! Can't wait!!!
@BrianMay so friggin awesome ❤
❤ I love Queen forever ❤ Thank You for all. Kiss from France 🇨🇵
AAAAHHHHH BRIII I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCHHH!!!!!
That photo behind him tells everything!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It just occurred to me that Brian has the kind of voice that would lend itself to narration!
I particularly like the part where he says „and here is the CD version of the Vinyl“ 😎🤘👍😂
Thank you for your presentation Brian May🩵🩵
I'm really really looking forward to holding the book. Anticipation for this has made me go back through the other boxes and some of those books are gorgeous. This looks to be the best yet.
And yes, I can't wait to hear all of Queen I. Very excited for this.
Brian, this video cost me a lot of money!! Not only did I immediately place an order for this at my local HMV, but I also ordered copies of the Miracle and News Special Editions, which I didn't know existed!!
Thank you this is giving me a new appreciation for the first album!
In the 70's, I remember staring at that back cover of Queen I for hours.
Deacy looking Deacy! Yesssssss!
Queen 1977/78/79/80 concerts on a different level. I wish they'd stayed in that groove.
Nah, Magic Tour is still the best.
@@tadeusztadek6816the magic tour was massive but in terms of vocals Freddie’s voice was very harsh during that time and his nodules affected a lot of his high notes idk why you would think that’s the best but to each his own
@@boombapdoom493 Totally agree.
Haha, the band loved it that much, they recreated it at milton keynes bowl shortly after.. Great memories..
Queen is literally the best
Amazing thing to put out for your fans.
