Cyberpunk 2077 had the greatest comeback in video game history. A comeback that not many saw coming after it's release. Today I'll be taking you on the journey that has been Cyberpunk 2077, one of my favorite games of all time. The comeback that it's made is historical. Sit back, relax and let me talk at you.

This game, had probably been my favorite experience, other than breath of the wild, which by the way was game of the year at one point, this game, deserves all of the praise in the world, the gameplay variety and the amount of ways to just enjoy this game are endless, I LOVE cyberpunk

Awesome video as always bro, cyberpunk when it first came out on launch day, was a disasterpiece where the game was unplayable. But now the game is a thing of beauty. Glad Cdpr didn't give up on fixing this game, but this should be lesson to all game companies that a delayed game may not be good, but a rushed game is forever bad.

I think the more important lesson is to not abandon games but to keep working on them. R6 siege, no man's sky, cp2077 there are a bunch of examples now where the launched game was crap buy it goy turned into gold. That being said, on PC, I enjoyed cyberpunk when it got released, but now it lives up to the hype.
no it was no man sky 1000% considering it’s still getting new stuff and cpdr isn’t gonna add any more content but still props to cdpr for not abandoning the game and actually putting out what they intended to release 3 years later

I have adored this game ever since I had enough time to actually get to playing it, about 6 months after launch. It's been so fascinating watching the general opinion of the game cross into positivity ever since the Edgerunners update. I understand that I'm lucky I didn't have many issues and was on PC, and I understand many people felt they were advertised one thing and getting another. However, since the early days of the game I've been saying the foundation is there with the story, gameplay loop, art direction, and voice acting all spectacular in my opinion and it's been so nice seeing the bugs getting worked out and people giving the game the attention it deserves. I can't wait to see the next steps for the franchise and I've been hooked since I started playing!

@@Jdyo me too, but i had them bugs. Nontheless i've platinumed the game twice. First on PS4 and later on with the PS5. I wish i had 10K to spend on a PC only to play this masterpiece. For me it's the game of the decade
I actually finished the game a couple days ago after 3 years. It still has bugs but they don't happen as often as back then and they're not gamebreaking. It is hella fun and i'll come back to it to get all possible endings, sadly it's release was bad but this is why we shouldn't push companies to release their products faster and companies shouldn't be so ambitious and add a million things at once, tho actually they could've finished the car customization system on release.... I WANT IT SO BADD 😭😭

Got me the game due to all the praise on the internet and realised only afterwards that the DLC did not come for PS4. Liked the game anyways until I learned about the most stupid level cap I have ever seen and will most likely not touch it again. What's the point in providing millions of side missions and gigs if completing it does not allow me to gain XP for levelling up.

I am absolutely loving the game. In my opinion the depth of the most important characters (apart from male V tbh, he sounds goofy a lot of the time) is rivaled only by the likes of RDR2, God of War and Last of Us

I’m not sure if I can agree with this I just recently downloaded cyberpunk it’s got all the recent updates and even dlc and this game is still one of the buggiest games I’ve ever seen I won’t lie and say it’s not fun but from what I’ve seen this game is still a mess I am on consul though so not sure if playing on pc makes a difference

No its not you need a decent PC and mods just to have a good experience and that my friend is unacceptable for a game that is supported on more than one platform and that costed the buyer 60 bucks to own. I get that you like the game and that's up to you but it's still not a great showcase for professional development that is true and many many people are still saying exactly the same things.

No... It didn't. It took three years to bring the game to a solid zero day release state. It got one poorly written and unnecessary anime commercial and one DLC and after three years of jank it was abandoned. Three fucking years! The title deserved one more full DLC as big or bigger than Phantom Liberty, and ongoing supplemental updates in the interim, like fixer sides for a total commit of roughly five years. THAT would have been a comeback story. What we got was bare minimum for the studio to walk away with cooing youtubers like yourself. CP was a phenomenal idea, but the volume of cut content alone is bullshit, from militech, the prison, the casino, entire sections of the megabuildings, north oak, the metro, the underpass... It's massive what they just abandoned and it's not the greatest anything of all time. It's a game that could have been epic, that in the end is just really good - if not still too bugged.
You can't judge a game based on cut content lol, you'd never be pleased with games if that's the case.
CP77 had a decent comeback it's nowhere near No Mans Sky or FF14 but CDPR could have pulled a Mass Effect Andromeda or Anthem but they didn't.
But I agree CP77 had much more potential than what the final product was.
It really sounds to me like you just want to not like the game. Which is fine, but there is an overwhelming amount of good things to say about the game that I think you’re overlooking because you WANT to not like it. Which again is fine, but don’t act like the good isn’t good. It’s very good.
@@Jdyo Only the profoundly dishonest choose to attack a valid and drawn conclusion by calling it a biased premise. I arrived at my disdain, I didn't begin there. Every aspect of my statement was factual and accurate, the entire program is littered with unusual management decisions, design choices, and implementation problems. A triple A title with it's track record being abandoned after 36 months is bad faith, no matter how you slice it. You're too emotionally driven in your argument and you're bordering on ad hominem. For example, I'm not acting like anything, if I said it, I have valid reason and I mean it.

Fun fact, over 200 Million people in the United States are possessed of an IQ south of 90, so mass appeal doesn't mean good, it doesn't even mean logically coherent, it simply means demographically targeted. As for the rest? It's fact. You know it's fact because you're aggressively over-invested in denying it is fact. It's probably not your fault; female hypergamy has devolved so strongly that over 50% of boys 18-28 haven't had or even bothered to pursue sex in the previous 12 months due to certain marketplace exclusion...
