you definitely won the silicon lottery. the g skill timings are beautiful. that’s around 46-47NS which is wild.
I wish ddr5 was able to get that low but doubling data rate means you need to double cas rate aswell to compensate.
    I’m running 6200CL26-36-31-30-61 1.64v 35-38c stable. Hovers around 57.1

those g skill modules were top bin and the most expensive so no wonder they performed as advertised). 6200 at CL26 is very good actually, what CPU are you using ?

@@AndresReviews Not to mention your god bin of a cpu lol. you are the only person that I’ve seen with these results on am4. The g skill kit was easily close to $240 or more.
      I’m running a 7800x3d with 2100 fclk.
my goal was to get 6400 CL26 but I’m limited by max vdd on my motherboard.
it could also be my cpu but I’m pretty happy with the results. if I want lower latency then I could always just get a dual ccd cpu to reduce latency by another 3-4ns

@@silfrido1768 my results are good yes, but, those are only benchmark results and they were not tested for stability, 99% chance that the highest overclocks were not stable, They were good enough for tests but if I started using that system most probably it would fail some day on some stage.
F4-4266C17D-32GTRGB costed me $340 per two 16GB sticks. Together $680 for four sticks.
Some also awesome results people had here docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c3RTF_ZPjep-Zfimgoca2Ef1gSjZM0rSHVWLkknbfUI/edit?gid=0#gid=0
7800x3d remarkable cpu. But if you are running 2100 fclk with 6400 speed does this mean you decoupled the clock? Not really sure how coupling works on AM5.

@@AndresReviews that makes a lot of sense, but the fact that you were even able to post with those settings is pretty good.
Your g skill ram is definitely not cheap but if you know how to oc then it’s worth the premium.
When it comes to am5 obviously a lot has changed but tuning ddr5 memory is not really a hassle. As long as you find your limiting factors then you can tune accordingly. it’s pretty much the same as ddr4 but you are dealing with bigger values since they doubled the data rate for ram.
another thing is, the infinity fabric is permanently de-synced so I’m not sure how they managed to still keep the clocks synced 1:1 below 6400mhz.
when you exceed 6400 memclk then you de-couple from uclk & will be 1:2 instead of 1:1.
but as always it all comes down to the silicon 🥲.

@@silfrido1768 nice, I see, need to transition to the am5 altogether to learn all that stack, still pretty happy with the am4 so keep postponing that action all the time ).
BTW was thinking to switch to the intel platform to have a benefit of Intel Quick Sync for H265 decoding, but after the recent troubles with intel processors crashing, started thinking maybe that is not such a good idea. We even had two 14900KS being sold in our shop, and one of them started crashing only in two months of use. Stopped selling them altogether to avoid customer returns.
The new AMD 9000 series is also a little not what I expected performance wise.

Hey sir, any updates on the x27 monitor? are you still happy with it? Did it lose brightness? I recently bought this monitor for 500 dollars used. It was used for 4000 hours. Is that a lot? Should I return it and buy something else? I read online that the panel has a 30k hour lifetime, and read someplace else that its 30k hours for 50% brightness loss

Hi, still using it and loving it. I havent measured the lux brightness values but subjectively it is still as bright, I don't see any degradation. $500 is a good price, 4000 hours is a very low number, basically a new condition. I wouldn't return it, you will not find anything of that quality for $500. Also the color accuracy is supreme, I tested it with CALIBRITE ColorChecker and it produced 99.8% accurate sRGB coverage calibrated from the factory. This is an IPS panel so it inherently does not loose the brightness over time as bad as OLED panels do, which become dim only in 2-3 years of burn time.
