You know you can use a sim ejection tool and remove the ear cup from the head band so you don’t have deal with the APMs throughout the battery replacement process 😊
Nice job.
Thanks!

Hey I got a question regarding the Sony XM4’s. Have you ever gotten a high pitch noises or wind noise on the right earcup? Because I’ve had that for a while and I was wondering if you had a fix for that since you a lot about headphones.

what a procedure
Is it possible to mix different earcups from other pairs of APMs? Like taking a green pair’s R cup with a black’s L cup and connecting them via the headband
Yes it is possible to do this.
Wow, that’s interesting… How would they show up on the iPhone pairing screen? As the R cup’s color or the L one? What happens to the serial number of the device? 😯
@@Mollyperrita I imagine the side with the battery houses the chip that stores this info so that one determines the name firmware and settings and the other side is a slave but I could be wrong
I have been resetting my max for a few weeks since last update. It stopped resetting today. Fully charged I was wondering if I can pull the battery cable and reconnect it after an hour to see if they come back or replace the Bluetooth board.

Same problem here. @Nicholas, dis you manage to get it fixed?
@@RedPandaOne Same issue here, Apple just wants me to buy a new pair outright. Did you find a fix?
I have a set that make crackling noises occasionally, sometimes not connecting to the iPhone. I have removed the head band and cleaned the sockets and lubed with dielectric grease. It’s better but not fixed. I want to strip it down to clean and exercise the inner ribbons and connectors. Hopefully this will resolve the issues.

My headphones are 2 years old, the battery has already died (in an hour)
-40% charge in the case). I replaced the cans, now after an hour of waiting, in the case, they eat 24%. Please tell me where to look for the problem of charge leakage?

@@ShawnJohn55did they scam you?
@@willitbend7262 hey they’re legit. I originally ordered the battery but it was another issue. I shipped it out and they replaced what was wrong and refunded me back the original price I paid for the battery. They definitely saved my AirPods. Highly recommended

Didn’t tuck in the battery cable 😦

What about speakers I got to that need repair a Bose and a ultimate ears
@@Joesge it says air pods not speakers
I was (even though I don't like Apple) briefly considering buying this one when I saw how easily it can be unscrewed. But when I saw what all needs to be done to get to the battery, it was clear to me that I didn't want it after all. Why do they make it as difficult as possible for customers to repair things themselves? I won't spend money on products that are intended to be single-use items.
Companies purposely make them difficult to repair so you'll buy a new one. It's super lame. Luckily we are willing to do the dirty work and make sure you get your moneys worth out of your electronics
@@Joesge I was willing to do this for a long time too, but not anymore. I simply can't accept it. If the government doesn't intervene and prevent mass waste production by forcing manufacturers to make things repairable, then I will just buy cheap stuff from China that I can simply throw away and buy new when something is wrong with it. This really annoys me. Ideally, I'd like to spend 400 to 800 euros once on really good headphones and keep them for the rest of my life. I also don't understand why they can't create 10, 20, or for all I care, 30 standardized form factors for batteries that manufacturers must use. To put an end to this battery hell once and for all. There are millions of different batteries. What's the point of that?
dude the repairs in this is way more easier than even samsung phones. I'd argue this is more repair friendly than other devices out there. I'm definitely considering on purchasing the max. I repaired a bunch of phones in the past, pc's etc, you just need to have patience.
@@JuanBusiness-cf3bm I'm not spending a lot of money just to have to be patient. Especially not when it wouldn't be necessary if the manufacturers weren't greedy jerks who, with this design, simply want to ensure that as many customers as possible throw everything away and buy the same crap over and over again every year. Just look at this shit: 2:46
Instead of potentially ruining our air pods we could just take them to Apple and only pay $80
Parts cost more than Apple charge for the same service
IF you have apple care plus, then yes.
Absolutely unbelievable how methodical and deliberate Apple has been making these things inaccessible. 5 different types of screws for no reason at all? It’s completely petty and honestly insulting. No, I’m not buying another pair of $500 headphones because the battery has worn out.
