If you are a legitimate writer with solid skills and talent, you won't need to negotiate :) Focus all your energy on mastering writing. Copywriting is a specific skill that I guarantee you can't do without training. Content writing, however, is possible, but I wouldn't hire anyone for less than 12 cents per word or you will get garbage. If you can make it work to get money, great, as long as you are providing real value and don't oversell your skills and abilities. Once you develop real writing skills, you won't pick up clients on Fiverr because it won't be worth your time for low paying gigs. You should be making at least 10 cents per word and it should take you an hour to write 750-word articles, fully researched. But there is a market for amateur writers... on Fiverr... but if you are passionate about writing, Fiverr will only be a starting block. Once you get good, you'll realize you're underpaid for what content writing really entails.

Hi, this is a good summary of selling the service. It would be good to see an example of your product, a typical order (how long is that email, 2000 words sounds very long, no one will read that;) and some other very specific info on keeping your clients happy and getting reorders. Writing as you say, isn't easy and you did not speak about this at all. Where did you get your ideas from, did you have difficult clients that tell you what they don't want but not very clearly what they do want, etc.

Ahh those posts are so old! Cool to hear they still are helpful for people on reddit! I think you're kind of asking the wrong question, it's not about easier/harder. It's just a new tool that copywriters can use. Skilled copywriters will probably benefit from AI, lazy copywriters probably will fail faster due to it.
i have been binge watching your videos for the past hour or two now and I must say...you are really transparent and honest and that's why i trust your advice. I will try my very best in implementing these steps because my gigs on fiverr are just so dormant. The gig with the highest impression which is 65 has only one click and that is really sad, considering that i am almost a year old on fiverr and not one sale. It really depends on you, how much time you commit to practice, and how you feel your abilities are progressing. Everyone’s different, but it sounds like you just started a daily writing habit which is an excellent first step :)

Amazing advice! I followed your steps in this video and the "how to create a Fiverr gig" video. I was brand new to copywriting and Fiverr, although I had SEO knowledge and some previous writing experience. After 1.5 months, I got 12 orders for 1,000-word blog posts (or blog post packages) and 12 five-star reviews. I've already raised the lowest price from $5 to $15. But my hourly earnings are so low, maybe $5/hour. I have a friend who sells the same gig for $70/order. Should I just raise my price to that level and see who buys? Will that hurt my search ranking? How many 5-star reviews would I need before charging $70 or $100 per 1,000-word blog post? Advice from Mike or anyone with experience is much appreciated!

I had thought that Fiverr controlled where you ended up in the search. With their tier levels.... I reached Top Seller level last year, and was getting way more orders than I could complete... but while I was 1 and 2 tier, the orders just trickled in. I will check out your videos on how to optimize... I never did that. I went from top seller back to the very bottom (LOL).... and now I'm back to level 2, and I have a new gig I just posted.... which is getting noticed very very little. Thanks for the info!
Friendly advice, UA-cam comments probably the least likely place to get Fiverr clients. Work on improving your skills, then your gigs, then consider doing some outbound prospecting

This is glorious, I have been researching "freelance catalog copywriter" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Fenrianna Subconscious Framework - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a good exclusive guide for discovering how to become an in demand freelance copywriter with no experience without the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend got amazing results with it.

I am on my 3rd day and I also read 30 minutes during my early morning hours. Found an interesting article on persuasive writing. Integrating it as a part of my copywriting training. It really depends on you, how much time you commit to practice, and how you feel your abilities are progressing. Everyone’s different, but it sounds like you just started a daily writing habit which is an excellent first step :)

Amazing advice! I followed your steps in this video and the "how to create a Fiverr gig" video. I was brand new to copywriting and Fiverr, although I had SEO knowledge and some previous writing experience. After 1.5 months, I got 12 orders for 1,000-word blog posts (or blog post packages) and 12 five-star reviews.
I've already raised the lowest price from $5 to $15. But my hourly earnings are so low, maybe $5/hour.
I have a friend who sells the same gig for $70/order. Should I just raise my price to that level and see who buys? Will that hurt my search ranking? How many 5-star reviews would I need before charging $70 or $100 per 1,000-word blog post? Advice from Mike or anyone with experience is much appreciated!
That's totally up to you, doesn't hurt to try to increase prices incrementally over time to see how it affects your order flow

I had thought that Fiverr controlled where you ended up in the search. With their tier levels.... I reached Top Seller level last year, and was getting way more orders than I could complete... but while I was 1 and 2 tier, the orders just trickled in. I will check out your videos on how to optimize... I never did that. I went from top seller back to the very bottom (LOL).... and now I'm back to level 2, and I have a new gig I just posted.... which is getting noticed very very little. Thanks for the info!

Friendly advice, UA-cam comments probably the least likely place to get Fiverr clients. Work on improving your skills, then your gigs, then consider doing some outbound prospecting
