The RD's are probably my favourite bikes of all time and they still look and sound awesome today. Sadly I never had the privilege of owning one.

Just awesome , I'm in the process of trying to acquire a 1978 Yamaha RD400 hopefully before springtime. I had a red '77 RD400 during my teen years, which I regret selling ever since. I love looking forward to every JAWA TINO Videos, Keep up the great work :)

I wish now that I had bought a new one of these instead of a Triumph TT 500 in early 1974. Back then I was too thrilled at the thought of one bike that could do such a variety of things. Travel on the highway or fire road. Or trail ride. I gave little thought of it being a compromise bike that would really do very little well. Still, it did do fine on the main trails and you could ride up and back with at least 45 mpg you didn't have to trailer it to at least make the scene. If not spend the whole day riding trails.
