Many years ago I spent some time over a 2 year period working in a traditional Aboriginal community in northern Australia. A fascinating aspect to this that I observed and learned about was the 'oral history' and songs and dances and ceremonies. They had an incredible capacity to memorise so much information. It was part of their culture. And this would include hours of ceremony and songs, and stories that they had to perform and recollect correctly (the elders would supervise and make sure all the details were done properly) It's hard to summarise this succinctly, but their capacity to put their minds to this discipline of remembering was staggering, and so different to how we operate in a non aboriginal society with the written and recorded word.

Guys, I love this group of people and what you guys are doing to pull down the curtin on the past. only problem with this video is that we use 100% of our brain and I learn new things every day without forgetting things. the whole 10% thing in an old wise tale. keep up the good work. keep asking the hard questions and poking that bear.

As you guys mentioned earlier, ancient humans relied on nature, the skies, etc... the real tangible world around them, and they had to for survival and progress, even history keeping. Ironically they may not have realized that they were in fact keeping any kind of long term records...

I love how you mentioned our space/aura ❤ Think when tucking a child in bed. As babies they wake up slightly when you enter the room. They grow up and now you have a 4 yr old you can carry to bed or tuck in and they stay sleeping. They know your energy and it doesn't disturb theirs. They recognize you as a protector.

I totally agree with Kayleigh in regards to ego being a separation from what was a more equal standing before egos developed. Perhaps related to greed.

Good to see collaboration between peers. You were able to bring up very good processes. The hardware software between the ancient humans and present day humans was a very good analysis. Intuition was the unspoken language of old, with the assistance of body language. I believe there was always a spoken language, very limited in numbers of terms but very obvious in correlation and definition with relative symbols. As population grew spoken language grew in popularity and overwhelmed the silent intuitive perceptive cues.

Hadn’t thought about this before. The older structures that were so amazing fashioned in really hard stone didn’t have writing on them. Maybe they didn’t have writing because those folks had paper like material to write on and didn’t need to carve writing into stone. Don’t know that I believe that but it could explain many things………. How many of the amazing sculptures made since paper to write on came to be have writing on them. I think most people that do sculptures today wouldn’t want writing on them except their name maybe hidden somewhere.

Back in the 1990's, Michael Wood made a PBS documentary, The Story of India, of the 10,000 year history of India. He claimed humans came out of Africa, across Arabia and down the west coast on India, where they found lots of fruits & vegetables, small game & large game, good fishing & a climate that was good for humans. He claimed that there is a town/village where the Brahmin male children are taught to memorize long epics that are in some very ancient and forgotten language. Tests have shown that the sons & grandsons are memorizing the epics correctly, even though no one alive today knows what the language means! The language has syllables of animal calls & bird calls as part of the narrative. There are festivals where the great epics are recited. And who knows for how many thousands of years.
