Oh man thanks for this. I thought I was screwed. I am a little embarrassed to admit it, but when I was replacing the button after the mirror fell off, I put the dang thing on upside down. Even after telling myself to be sure it was in the right orientation. I noticed it pretty quick, but it was too late to change position at that point. Anyway, you saved my bacon brother.

I really thought I had to buy another mirror but I didn't .This video really help me instead of using what you had on the video. I use a lighter and yes it came off. Awesome, just did my daughters a week ago to realize today its upsidedown. First video I watched the first common sense that they crack their windshield. This worked perfectly

Didn’t have the torch. I used a grill lighter lol. Still worked though. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for the advice. I used a striker to remove mine. It worked great.
Thanks .I just installed mine on upside down.I used a heat gun to remove .And reinstall the correct way .

Use a Good Quality New Razor Blade. Old Blade edge can leave Scratch Marks on Glass. I know happen to me long time ago.
Why wouldn’t you just use the adhesive remover on the button in the first place?
