I want to stop for a moment to appreciate how generous you are in your explanation! You never hide anything nor seek benefits from your audience, you just want to spread knowledge and make the educational process much more fun for both teachers and students. I’m glad I found your channel several days ago. I’m truly grateful! Thank you ☺️
I had prayed for such a technique in y story telling classroom and I Thank God for this channel tutorials. God Bless this channel In Jesus Name Amen . - Teacher Joel.
Tysm! This helped A LOT. Since coronavirus came, my teacher uses bitmoji classroom for online school. I wanted to feel like a teacher so I searched up how to make bitmoji classroom and this came up. It helped a lot. Thanks
Not at all what I was looking for --- but EXACTLY what I needed! Thank you! There were so many tips embedded throughout! I cannot believe how much I learned!
Thank you for the tutorial. It was easy to follow and go through the steps. Your directions specifically to pause and walking through set up help get through the process.
THANK YOU so much! I have NEVER done one of these Bitmoji classrooms and all the other tutorials were not as step-by-step for a super newbie like me. This tutorial is THE BEST! A million thanks!!!!
My last video ending and yours came up automatically. I was going to X out, but I'm so glad I didn't. I learned more tips in your 15 minute video than I have since I started using slides. I had NO IDEA you could make your bitmoji say anything you want or just have poses! You also helped me edit so much faster with the tips and tricks. Thanks so much!
This is the best!! Not only can I use this for bitmoji, but for anything I work on and I do have animated characters and a business that I need that backgrounds gone for! Again, thanks
Good morning, I am very grateful for your videos, It helped me so much. I was able to improve my presentations and my students are very happy. May God continue to bless you and keep on giving you more knowledge to help people like me. Thank you very much.
I literally created my slide while watching your video. You answered every question before I even thought of it (if that makes sense). Thank you for making this so easy!
THANK YOU for creating the tutorial!!!! I am going to create a classroom scene and put the list of materials that the students need to start class on the white board.
This is Great!! This makes it so much better for my students. It is difficult sometimes to keep things interesting, especially with my special needs young adults.
Thank-you! I have been trying to figure out how to search Bitmoji for certain stances / poses! LOVE the remove.bg to alter Bitmoji, magic rainbow unicorn and fonts extensions! I learned so much!!!!
Great App , brilliantly illustrated like a mother to a child- so caringly explained with so much patience and care for the learners ! Well done ! Appreciate your prodigious efforts dear Gin ! Bless you and your family / team !
@@EZEdTech I watched your video on animated Google Classroom banners, but I would love to learn how to add an animated bitmoji to my virtual classroom while still having clickable links.
@@EZEdTech I didn't mean for a GC banner, I just meant my regular virtual classroom. If I make it animated and convert it to a GIF will my links still be clickable?
This was wonderful!! I used your video to create my first day of school rules, grading policy, and the like for my students. Thank you for this! It was so helpful. You were very clear and the directions were very easy to follow. Have a wonderful school year.
I'm the most Techno challenged person around but you made it look so easy. I fiddled around a bit and created a scene. I would just pause your video and do the step for myself. Definitely a lot of fun and will explore more. A friend of mine was able to add links through pics and they took her to quiet tube videos when you click on the image. For example a picture of a book and it takes you to a video of that book so it's like a interactive slide. Do I need adobe or acrobat for that ? Have you got a tutorial about that?
Rachel Lau you can’t lock images in Slides, but you can download the image as a png and then insert it as a background which effectively locks it. I show you how to do that at the beginning of this tutorial. I do it with the whole classroom, but you could it after you change the wall color and then build the classroom on top of the locked background. I hope that helps! ua-cam.com/video/2oJT_CXLeGw/v-deo.html
Thank you! I was actually able to follow your tutorial and make an end of year presentation.... Now I'm off to watch your other tutorial on adding sound.
Can you tell me how to save the document? I named the document thought it saved to drive but then could not find it. So, my computer is still open to slides until I finish because I am afraid of losing it.
Linda Idzinski slides saves automatically. You can find it in google drive or when you open slides (slides.google.com) all your projects will be saved there.
For the outside scene, I would have kept the aspect ratio, but then cropped to fit the window. Also, if you use the control key (Windows PC) when you want to resize, it resizes from both sides symmetrically. If you resize from the corner (while holding the control key), it resizes from all sides at once and keeps the aspect ratio of images. It doesn't keep aspect ratio if it is just a shape you create within Google Slides. But it still resizes from all sides simultaneously. Just a quick tip for viewers.
Excellent video! I've been using similar techniques for a couple of years, but still learned about the remove.bg & Rainbow Unicorn add-on from you. Thank you.
I’m finding it difficult to get the Bitmoji I want, for example, the one sitting in the beanbag chair. Is there any suggestions you have to make this easier? I loved the “pose” and “picture” suggestion. Thanks
First create an avatar in your mobile using bitmoji app. In your chrome extension bitmoji type the search options like beanbag then you'll get your emoji with coffee cup sitting on bea bag
the one in the beanbag is under "bean bag" as 2 words. Check out the facebook group "Bitmoji Craze for Educators". We have a list there of a lot of different poses and the search terms to find them.
All searches done from within Google Slides (and G Suite) are automatically filtered for commercial reuse with modification. That's the beauty of doing searches from within Slides!
Also, if you want to share the presentation IN PRESENTATION MODE (so they don't have to hit present), go to the first slide, look at the url, find the word "edit" near the end, and change it to the word "present". Keep everything else the same. If you share that link, they will see it ONLY in presentation mode.
I loved this video. I haven't played with Google Slides much. I have been a Powerpoint girl for years but I'm beginning to like Slides. How did you add the font and rainbow Add-Ons?
Thanks! It is an add on called "magic rainbow unicorns slides". You add them from the menu bar on the top of the page. I also use extensis fonts, but that add on is only available in docs.
Hi, this looks so fun. Can you explain a little more about the bitmoji extension? I have an iMac but I also have a pc. Is this a safari or chrome extension? thanks!
This is an understandable guide to follow. Thank you. Very inspiring. It has led me to discover other additions to my page for my students and families.
Today you added a video with 5 tips. You shared the Bitmoji Craze for Educators which I am already on! You mentioned "This or That" activity and you modified with Pear deck. Any way you can share the presentation? Thxs, I am inmy first week of online school.
Missy Allan thank you! My school uses google products. The students use chromebooks so I use the google suite for education to make everything I need for their lessons. They wouldn’t be able to access something made in PowerPoint or keynote.
Great tutorial! But I’m puzzled as to why you searched for transparent outdoor scenes when don’t need any part of the image to be transparent, and you don’t intend to edit the image to add transparency. In this case, it seems like the image didn’t need to have an alpha channel (the transparency feature that png’s have and jpg’s lack.) Did you do this to limit the search to .png’s? For the window view picture, wouldn’t a .jpg have worked as well? Or does the application work better with png images? Images in png format have an alpha channel, which is the transparency, and jpgs don’t
Leah4Realz you are absolutely right about it being unnecessary for the outdoor scene to be transparent. A jpg would have worked just as well. It was a mistake. This was one of my early tutorials (I just started doing this less than 3 months ago) and I hadn’t figured out editing yet so I couldn’t fix any mistakes I made. There is no technical reason I chose to do that lol!
