Recent updates seem to have bogged down this mac, like an old windows PC with 512mb of ram, starting to be sorry i ditched my intel.
Yeah my intel macs never had the issue of text input slowing to a crawl.

It's been a couple weeks since i had to switch to M1 Mac from Windows for work purposes. I didn't like MacOs a bit.

I bought my MacBook Pro m1 5 days ago and the downloads are insane slow, it doesn't make sense because I have good internet and its even connected by cable, but it literally downloads like 0,03 MB per second can it be a factory problem?

Is it normal for my 8gb ram macbook to always travel to 200/300mb of residual ram? There are a lot of things that use ram that I don't understand what they are

Never had my intel machines not be able to input text like my m1 does.
Kinda pissed.
here is a mucking tip... Format C Drive, and reinstall Mac OS again. Enjoy the speed, after you install all of the primary apps, and get all the passwords logged in, backup your mac using time machine.... AND... when it slows down (you know it will) it's just a matter of time. You can do the same thing again, and restore everything to get you back to normal. it's a PAIN yes... but, it's so worth it... unless you like beachballs and freezing. Mac, it was a great time till about 6~10 months that 8 gigs gets super cluttered and basically no matter how much caching you clear you will just maybe give it another month.
12:24 I was honestly surprised that it wasn't going to be like a $1000 upgrade from apple lol. Apple is only asking $200, which is cheap af for apple. great vid helped alot!

Good video! The best tip is not to buy a mac. After 1 year, it already feels like a 5 yearold cheap hp on the inside and that is the macbook pro with m1.. On the outside is as pretty as aways. I think its place is in a musem..
Yeah I’m not impressed with my very basic M1 but my 9 year old fancy one has serious problems and I gave up on it. This one doesn’t even compare. I could run sooo many things at once.
@@nakiasimone The main issue is the RAM. They have put very little initentionally and when it fills up, it starts using the Swap memory from the ssd, which causes a lot of slows and eventually breaks the ssd. And because it is soughtered to the motherboard... Of course in apply style... You have to buy a new laptop. Now I got from work a custom macbookpro with 32gb ram and m1 max and its a lot better, but that thing costs 3k dollars and I don't think it is worth the money. The one thing that is really good is the screen.
According to Apple you can't upgrade your hard drive for more storage.

Mac mini is overhyped garbage! Nothing but issues. Worst purchase PERIOD!
No need to fix .Just sell it and buy wintel instead.
