Oh my god my 12 year-old self just had an outer body nostalgia experience upon seeing that Orc npc model. One of my earliest formative memories as a young man was when I finally leveled up high enough to be able to go back to that castle tower in Crushbone and solo that asshole Dark Elf with the dagger. I was a WoW nerd for years yet were I to replay previous expansions, I'd likely need a guide to do it efficiently; but were I tasked with navigating the oldschool Crushbone zone 21 years after the fact, I'd likely be able to do it blindfolded.
@@MrThundermaul At least it is monetized to death. Pay To look the best, pay to gain exp faster, pay for more loot storage, microtransactions out the wazoo. Milk the players for every penny. I absolutely will not play any games that have such despicable business models.
Hell yeah! Friday and Fading is bringing us the real important news! I have learned that the passion in my life is sharing the games that I enjoy with others. I would be honored to help with the Everquest show. I will have to type up a "pitch" for why and how I can help grow the game we both love!
I thought I checked the in-game calendar to see if there were any unlocks within the week, but perhaps I missed it. Is there an unlock (I'm not in game at the moment to look) this week?
The xp buff almost made me say ok ill try out Oakwind with a necro/? box combo. Then as I'm at the account screen to resub I decided against it. I loved PoP and the earlier xpacks but right now is too late to get in and find a good guild to run with as a DPS type. Good vid though.
I love EQ it was so sad to see it recently get destroyed by all the miss management . Plate dupe, 3rd party software running rampant and game breaking exploits. Its crazy that the EQ economy stayed unbroken for almost 25 years I don't think any other game has that kind of run. I would personally love to see EQ just get remade on a new engine or something. Fading keep up the videos I think we will all always have a place in are hearts for EQ.
LMK when they say something that can restore my faith that they actually care about the servers instead of letting a plat dupe go on for days, completely wrecking the newest TLP economy, and then acting like it wasnt a big deal.
