The loop will be a great addition. I have to say the clouds you painted on the back scene behind the bridge have a fantastic 3d effect when viewed on camera. Great work.
Hi my good friend, I been watching you over the years honestly I would could teach you a perspective of it to look absolutely awesome which is a couple of changes. I’m dyslexic, slightly autistic, but you could create the best layouts ever. Kind regards Jay
Have you looked into automation? I used to have a shuttle set up for a Christmas layout (dc). Theirs quite a few options for dcc now. Happy tinkering Matt
Not enough time for your next show but how about semi circular curtains covering each loop where periodically the curtains open via some kind of electrical motorised mechanism to reveal a crazy ‘Wizard Of Oz’ style scene. Not literally but some kind of magical scene that gives the illusion of making the whole thing work; pistons and pulleys, a drawbridge, steam emanating from what appears to be a furnace type well etc etc. The audience get a 30 second glimpse of this before the curtain closes for ten minutes then the whole thing repeats. You could also change your main scene to show workers doing mad things like going up in a homemade balloon, someone else almost surfacing in a bell shaped submarine (Victorian style) etc. I could go on but you’re probably bored by now. Rob
Cats are hilarious - most of the time✌️💜👍😉😀😻😻 Great modelling and a charming layout Tris. I was tempted by 009 again recently, but I'm well invested in 0-16.5 and O, nothing too grand, but still more than enough work for me. I've also got some basic SM32 stock too👍💜✌️😊
For running a bit more smoothly, I've seen a few people use graphite on the rails. Giles Engineer is the most prominent, and he's been doing railway modelling for years
I'm planning on doing something similar, but fitting the components from a tabletop misted water fountain for a better scale looking whitewater effect and real running water under my viaduct.
Its looking great, although its a shame you had to use such large radius curves. With narrow gauge of course its almost part of the charm to have tight radius curves. I feel you could've got away with half that radius and it would've still looked fine and probably even more quaint :)
Hi Tris what a great video! Enjoying your journey with you.2 things, I noticed you were having trouble with lining up the top of your scenic boards! How about if you recessed small rare earth magnet in the top corners so they hold together?? Also are you going to be at GETS next weekend as I'm going to it for the first time 🎉and wondered if I may be able to meet you in person and say what a great job your doing!! I will be there on the Sunday? Thanks once again 👍
Hi tris, I know the video is about changing the fiddle yard, but I saw on the original one that you used a rod to hold the track in place, what size rod did you use? I have a layout with a similar type of fiddle but have struggled to keep tracks aligned, any advice would be apreciated. Alex

Looking good! I am so impressed
Knew I'd enjoy it, No wonder Tony hasn't got much stock of OO9 track left 🤣. Can't wait to see the finished layout.
It has always been a great layout. Having it a tail chaser is a brilliant idea. I love the clouds on the back scene. Well done Triss. 😊
Thank you 😊
Ooooohhh, OO9 gauge. Nice. Great Video.
Oh, this is going to be good, it's a great idea. Your modelling skills will make it look terrific. Looking forward to the progress. 😊

Brilliant video Tris. I like the ide of turning the layout into a tail chaser. Should make it better for running at exhibitions. - Nicholas.
Thanks Tris, looking forward to the next episode. Good idea for the tail chaser and gives you another option.
Wonderfully neat and well thought out!
Hi Tris, I think the loop will be a fantastic addition, It will save you alot of effort when you run it at an exhibition for sure.
Great work Tris! Really looking forward to the next episode. Thank you 😊

Amazing work Tris as always. 👍

Very cool Tris, this reminds me a bit of Richard's New Junction (it has two configurations too, which I think you are aware of)
