Finally I have one, and boy, I am not disappointed. Is this the best narrow gauge loco from Bachmann?

Way out of my price range, but she is gorgeous 🥰

Very nice! I have the sound-fitted DCC variant. It's definitely a gem and very well suited to slow-speed crawling. The tender having pickups also means conductivity is more reliable and there's much less stalling on dusty/dirty track than say a normal 0-4-0.
Very true, I should have mentioned the pickups. I bet the sound really sets it off, I just couldn't go that far. Thanks for watching and taking the time to message.
That's a lovely looking loco and a great addition to your new layout. My grandson (12) is planning to build a 009 in the near future. He's working on the planning at the moment and building up a few kits. I'm sure he'll be filming and posting updates of his progress on his Dylington Model Railway channel. He's doing a nice job of filming his 00 gauge layout, using stop-motion animation on some of his videos. If you haven't come across it yet, and you get a chance, check it out. Linda's a good looking girl ,@200 notes I would say expensive but to others it worth it ,each to their own ,if you love her then it's worth it.
It was on the wish list because of the price, but as I say the family clubbed to getter on my birthday.
