- This past weekend we competed at our first Irish drift event in 2023, the Tullyroan drift night in Northern Ireland. Dave was in the LZ AE86 and Josh was in his SR20 powered MX5. This was Josh's first competition in the car with a new engine and setup, so it was a nervous one....

@Drift Games ....hat off to you guys...i would like t suggest you to try a different motor now....a basic LS engine would b a much reliable option for mx5...much more reliable and tons of after market support ...another option is a boosted VQ or a rotary...its just a suggestion....you guys know better about your cars

Could yous of dissabled the coolant pressure sensor in the ecu and send it? or was it low of coolant or leaking coolant somewhere , would of been nicce to see how that battle played out .

you can't help but feel sorry for josh with that fucking car, but I think its time to just change the engine by now surely, every time he drives it, it just has problem after problem and there has to be a point where you have to say its not worth continuing with this amount of disappointment.
It was a hose split, so could have been any engine really 🤷♂️

Mid drift, when pulling the handbrake does that give you more angle or slow you down?
And then I presume the footbrake does the opposite right?
It’s much of the same, both slow you down or extend the drift wider on the line
