We decided to fit an MR2 3SGE + T engine to our Spec S Nissan S15 instead of the usual SR20 and it's been a long road to this dyno session! The car has had an incredible amount of custom parts and modification over the past year and now is the time to see if it's all worth it...

I was on the C1 coming back from Parmo heading down the N4. I seen a pink car with that Curran Motors sign on it. I seen a sneaky drift games tag on there too. I'm thinking it's the one in the video here.

God i cant wait for us in the US to be able to import S15s. Of fourse the stupid prices are probably gonna double lol. Love those cars tho. Nice choice of engine tho, cant really go wrong there.

As much as we all love the builds and big power and such.. Shitboxes are more fun to drive. (on the line of keeping the builds reasonable power levels)

I had an old school Varex exhaust on my GD. Came with a little remote that had two buttons, A and B lol. Nothing like through the app today. Very nice to have when entering an area and you needed to quiet the car, or just wanted it quiet in general.

I think doing 3S's is a very good platform to stay 4cyl but to be cheaper n more reliable than an SR or Honda K-swaps. The 3S are extremely capable engines n very responsive very linear powerbands

I am guessing the altezza box is the limitation really? I have had 371bhp and near 500nm through IS200 box. Just turn it up will you?
Tezza/is200/s15 all use the same box. Aisin az6. They will handle good power

Favorite S chassis... S15. Favorite manufacturer...Toyota. Looks like a win to me.
Seems an awful lot of work to use a non turbo engine and put a turbo on it to make the same power *currently* as a standard st205 engine with 1.1bar, my st205 dyno'd 310bhp, hoping to see the potential of that build

that r32 is really a family gtr they run all same parts as gtr. runs a 4.3 diff ratio with the gtr axles and a 2l turbo. love all the hard work hope you come to NZ one day.
