Don't go street drifting in Amsterdam...

- We didn't plan on going street drifting in Amsterdam, but when a local drift crew hit us up, we followed them and their BMW drift car to the local Touge to watch some Tokyo Drift style tandem runs on the streets. It was a wild night of street drifting and street racing that we didn't expect on this journey. This is Tokyo drift in Europe, and we loved it!

Was awesome to have you guys over. The pleasure was ours. ✌🏻
Have you Irish family? There's certain things you say that sound very Irish.
My video about this evening will be online in 48 hours.
@@declanmdrI was thinking West country, England. Definitely a twang 😊
@@samuelgarrod8327 lol not that I know of bro.
@@declanmdr a ginger beard is as Irish as it gets bro.
Some major Tokyo drift vibes 😮 and loved every minute of the video. you guy just keep knocking it out the park
Have fun guys on your roadtrip
Never knew there was such good vibes with the car scene in amsterdam. Another class video as always
That's not amsterdam! That's ijmuiden
Finally the Netherlands is getting some recognition! This country is so underrated. It's got people who love cars and have lots of money, the combination of which is great for the car culture! Great smooth roads too, only thing missing is some mountains!
not really, the netherlands is not good for car enthiousast, way to expensive
@@JS.Active.91 How so? It depends on your situation. Do you have a family? Kids? Minimum wage job? I'm making ok money and I have a very small business but I can have a custom electric dirt bike, a car that I drift daily and I want to buy a second one some day soon. I mean, even the old timer law is a great opportunity in the Netherlands. You can buy an old timer Toyota Starlet for 700 euros and it will cost you
@@JS.Active.91 Yes it is expensive. But the roads are good. And there is actually quite some freedom in modifiying your car (compared to Belgium or Germany). The roads aren't as interesting as some Italian mountain road or whatever, but it works well.
Belgium has the exact same laws as the netherlands on car modifications except for the fact that in belgium you can remove your bumper if your car is older than 30 years @@roland9367
I really love the travel videos on the channel
It gives us something we don't se anywhere
The builds we see everywhere because everyone does the same cars ( kinda boring now)
But showing the garages and stuff all over the world
That's where this channel really shines
You guys are in Ireland and have cars that America doesn't have
Show those kinda cars / builds
It makes the channel unique
Drifting within the Netherlands still isn't that big or populair, events are very uncommon
Yeah because you get "Artikel 5" immediately when cops come... Meaning you lose your license. Plus places are very scarse...
Yeah, such a shame :(
It's also really hard for me to find a good spot where the cops don't show up right away... But on the flip side I have done some "rallying" on dirt and gravel roads.
So proud to say that the dutch have a proper drift community !!
Where?
we dont lol
We do, come by and see for yourself

Absolute gold🤣
This lad has a carlow and Dutch accent. Some combo 😂
Is carlow in ireland? Everyone seems to think i’m irish for some reason 😂
Well you are not a virgin anymore Josh. Greetings from the yellow e36 turbo.
Je was lekker aan het knallen maat
I am proud to live in The Netherlands! 🙏🏾 love our Dutch People💪🏾🔥
Did your man live in Ireland for a wile 😂. Class video 👌
American Drifting has nothing compared to European Drifting. It is much more similar to Japan it seems. I need to visit myself! Keep these videos coming! I keep thinking you cant top the latest video and im proved wrong everytime!
They all have their own styles. Comparing anything to another is kinda weird these days.
@@mrtandemslidessbtt Ive only lived in America and Japan so this is all new for me. Seeing it makes me want to explore more! Its all love!
@Dezinternational American drifting? Don't you mean street takeovers? 😂
You're confusing the "La Troka" Cartel's most are 1st or 2nd time immigrants with their parents cartel money. Similar too Nortenos and Surenos its a crazy culture only affiliated like to attend.@@Paul_AWD Contrary; American drifting is the only community able to pay Formula Drift Japan to host a US Event series, to which grassroots feed into. Two different peoples. Both have potential in motorsports however. I just believe their are other countrys hosting proper grassroot style drift events bigger than Formula D, Similar to what Option Mag did in Japan.
great vibes, beautiful camera work as well! street drifting is the coolest
Peter has a wee bit of an Irish accent, am I the only one hearing it?
Same
Love the content guys ,,I know ye are pulling crazy hours with no sleep along with all the driving and behind the scenes work but I hope u look back in years to come and realise what ye have so for the modified car and drift scene in not only Ireland but worldwide,,some may say ye are living the dream 👌🤙
Cool to see how the gopro shot came out. Shame there's wasn't the possibility to do few more runs
Was a pleasure meeting you guys
As always great cars great drifting. What more could ya want.
first video i watched on your channel. love the guy from portello motorsports he was so sarcastic
🤣
Crazy tokyo drift scene! Greetings from Holland👍
Hello there!
Great video boys, wow that is some collection of cars!!
Love the accent ,it reminds me of Hagrid from Harry Potter 😂
Haven’t watched the boys for 12 months and this has just broke me back in ❤👌🏼
What a trip, what a video! More of this please. Loved it!✌️
More been planned at the moment!
Don’t threaten us with a fun time😅😂
I love his accent , sounds like he's from Birmingham 😂
great video. great to see some Dutch drifting. (might be a good idea to also blurr the licence plate at the end of the video......)
I have been on every single road in this video and if I tell you I never knew there was a full blown drift scene there, I wouldn't be lying. I expected just a hand few on single drifters, not whole crews..
Waar zit het ?
@@zwaarvlees ik zal het uit respect voor de groep niet delen denk ik

Guys, you forgot to blur the plate on the last sequence of the video...
Get some rest ;)
That road course looks savage fun
Great to see all the cars being kept alive. This trips got to be getting expensive seeing all those parts every time you stop. Great work.
Thanks for the great entertainment.
Seeing those taillights light up the smoke is so sick
Oh dang! accidently came across this JDM heaven that exist in Belgium! I
Great content as always dudes. I'm loving this road trip 😎
Terrific! This underground is still alive.

@sanjuroku was at it again, f*cking dope guys!!!!! ✌️✌️
should only go street drifting in Eindhoven or closer to belgium, just so you know for next time, me and the boyys have a spot, never been caught
Do it in the only "hills" the Netherlands has. We got super nice twisties, and no cops patrolling them. Greetings from Limburg, the Netherlands.
Tokio Drift vibes 🚘🔥
That R33 'boat' comment fits perfect with the NZ skyline culture.
I never knew you had streetdrifting in our country.
People not only amsterdam in whole country everywhere even in the smallest citys and last week was a Tokyo drift event in a open garage what really had the tokyo drift feeling is if you are in the movie with the 4/5 floors
Ah yes the Amsterdam "Mexico" spot
This was fuckn wild boi's! Smashing it
Great video! 🔥 amazing
But one important thing to keep the community underground - blur the number plates (outro).
Wow this layout is insanités ❤
forgot to blur the number plate in the outro 😂
Mint. 👍👍🔥🔥🔥
very dope vid
Dam street drifting is 100x more fun than the track lol
Escalation ... very expensive word 😅
Was that an Ford Escort MK2 next to the Nissan R32?
Yup, its taking a holbay engine
Correct me if i'm wrong but was that not a pain au chocolat in the intro 🤣😉
Some Beautiful cars...😋
You missed the blur of the blue BMW at the end. I can easily read the number plate
Drift Games Posts Up A Video... I Click On It!🤷🏽
Underground is the good ground ;) was fun G's
It's not just that roads in Belgium are sh**t, the drivers are even worse... and fun fact is many of them will agree to that 😆😆😆
"you can't do anything exciting in a 325" hhhmmmm that's exciting looking 🤣🤣
you forgot to blur the blue 46s number plate at the very end of the video
omg so cool you have been here
nice video! but you guys forgot a really nice shed with a AE86 and a 1JZ Beamer :p
PS: from oldskool dutch drifters!! even did european driftcups!
Aussie s14’s have the same bumper, just the plastic is paintmatched
I need a RWD car in my life 😂👌
That exact place where you was drift i was there yesterday in my semi-truck 😂
Well actually they are drifting in IJmuiden. I know exactly where that is. So cool. Always thought you could drift there.
Coulda had a slightly dodge but running well and pretty clean body (if bad paint and saggy bumpers and such) FD for 4k about 8-10 years ago..
Had the want,
Didn't really have the money spare but coulda stretched to it.
But...
Definately didn't want it to rot and had absolutely no way to keep it garaged. :(
One thing ive never inderstood, is why people call the r33 a boat, even tho the r34 weighs more than it.
19:47 Quickly get our little s14 back 😍
Bring back street glow!!
That aint Amsterdam, thats IJmuiden 💯
Het betere Amsterdam 😝
Damn amitsubishi starion at 23.35 one of the most underated jdm cars ever but very rare
Dat is zeker geen starion maar een Porsche 944. Groetjes van een Starion eigenaar 😉

Was this guy not part of the drift works group that did the Japan trip that came out on dvd?
THATS IT! I had been struggling with this for weeks! Hahahaha
Yup, thats me 😉 very good spot, thats been 11 years ago, great memory, and i tried to hide from the camera’s as best as i could
Netherlands don’t take kindly to any mods 😅😅
ijmuiden on top❤
Whats the average cost to ship a jzx110 to the states? 😂
Dont go drifting in IJmuiden 💯💯💯💯😘😘😘😘😘😘

24:49 Ijmuiden?
Yup de plek is echt niet moeilijk te vinden op google maps.
I saw ijmuiden😍
dont streetdrift in the netherlands if u love ur car and drivers license 🤣🤣🤣
Anyone who lives in Amsterdam tell me if cars are heavily taxed and expensive compared to the rest of the world and how strict are cops?
Taxed as in roadtax? You pay a monthly tax according to the weight of the car which slightly differs per province. Amsterdam's pretty good; as in not the most expensive. So a roughly 1200'ish kg E46 would do about 170 Euro per 3 months. If the weight goes up prices go up quick. My G430 is about 1655 kg and is about 300 Euro per 3 months. Anything like that Dodge Ram is often driven on "grey" plates/registration (not actually grey) as it would be very expensive on regular plates. A tax reduction traders are allowed to use.
As for the car prices; well they've gone to sh.t as much as the rest of the global car market. Well for cool cars anyway. The BMW's you see here are still doable, not too too crazy. But most of the JDM stuff is. Ps13's are rare these days thus expensive, don't start on Skyline's or Supra's, they are inching on 40K plus territory. A Chaser 35K at least. Bar the JDM Lexus IS Beams or GS Aristo a normal IS 200 or GS 300 can still be had for normal money etc, etc.
If you don't go attract attention in big groups like this the Police are pretty good as in they just don't have the manpower. Just got know where to go.
DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO VIDEO TITLE
