The JDM Insider series was literally my bedtime story I'd fall asleep watching them every night for years. Been following them since 2003. I owe so much to Toshi Hayama and Takahiro Ueno. Actually had quite a few conversations with Toshi he's a super nice guy n so down to earth
Easily my favourite video from your Japan trip. As others have said these guys are so humble and have little or no idea how much they have inspired the rest of the world, we have drifting because of guys like this, simple as.
To say that driftgames gang are legends is understatement! Production is amazing, Entertainment is 💯. Who could have thought that few Irish lads, an English man and a Lithuanian can be so entertaining to watch 🤣 Stay humble and keep having fun! 🤙🤙🤙
Crazy he has been drifting as long as I have been alive. I'll never forget the 1st time I got to see him drift in person. Thanks for adding the footage of Hirota's Verossa. He is the reason I now own a Verossa.
Takahashi-san "City boy" is the reason why I absolutely LOVE the GRS131 Mark X. I have been wanting to import one since 2014! The Mark X is actually based on the Lexus GS platform like the IS, so they share a lot of similar components. Definitely unlocked a core memory seeing those old Nightwalkers street videos, I used to obsess over going to Japan as a kid, definitely have reinvigorated that desire for sure.
This is some really emotional stuff for some reason, what an amazing content!! I think there needs to be a series of visiting all the old legends of drifting in Japan, such a great way to look back and see how it was done and how it all began!!
That's right they started as the "Nine Walkers " 9 4 door cars all painted that same colour then some left so they changed their name to "Night walkers" I've a few old dvd's of them inc jdm Insider etc think the sexy knights are in there too ❤
@15:48 He was so close to clipping that car 😅 Real but pucker moment I'd bet 😅 never seen that footage b4 well done Lucas cause ive seen alot of old Japanese drifting i used to sit up late as a kid on the desktop computer watching evey video on Rally or drifting i could find like one example I thing i know ive seen every vtec mini video that exists on the Internet 😂
Finaly got time to sit and enjoy this.. Awesome.. Please say you are doing it again next year.. More ebisu, more streets and way more shops. Even just random normal guy shops, with a lil stash of a few nice things rather than the legends you featured through the past few vids. (Though no-one wil complain if you can just feature top tier drift/racing/building names) Moar Japan Plz, as much as schedule and budget (and your own spirit/sanity from being away from home so much) allows. Such great vids.
Had anxiety that the 'we move like gangsters' song was going to come out at the end and destroy the edit but you pulled through! Such a great video interviewing some of the legends.
I've been watching drift games for years since way before games changers and Dave had at one point a white E36 that was super charged the videos just keep getting better it's really nice to see it grow literally doing stuff I dream of doing all the best to you guys look forward to seeing what happens next year 💪
Where is Dave’s FD???? I just got a feeling he got one!!! 🤔 Thanks for the Japan garage tours!!! Loved it!!! Can’t wait to see what’s in store back in Beautiful Ireland 🇮🇪 ☘️GREAT TRIP!!!
AHHH the JDM Insider Vol.2 DVD that was my shit when I was growing up. I bought it back in 2004 n that's where I found the Jzz30 Soarer n fell in love with it n Car Make T&E/Vertex. N watching Kunny thrashing that Chaser with Takahiro Ueno in his Soarer n Hirota in his Verossa. I wanted u to go to Sui•Vax so badly but this is a treat nonetheless
The regulation needs to go back to how it was. You have no idea the amount of drama that was going on from 2000-2005 because of Americans drifting. Getting that sticker is a big deal. Not drifting on the streets..pssh.. sell outs
Them street drifting clips unlocked a core memory, The amount of times i used to watch them is unhealthy
same here :D

They at least could have showed their praise by simple bow, all they did was dishonor mr.takahashi by handshake.
I still watch jdm insiders today so nostalgic

This is a historic JDM video of all times ❤, he is a hero drifter's in japan ❤,
