This game helped me understand a few things about life and for that I am forever grateful. Everyone here picked the best ending because we understood what matters most: family and love. That is the only legacy we should be caring about leaving on this world, everything else is lies. It's not about how much time you have but what you do with it, so live well and breathe free.
Beyond that. With the Aldecados we destroy Mikoshi, Arasaka, and extend V’s lifespan by 6 months. If we could do that in just a few weeks. Imagine what V, and the Aldecados could get done in 6 months. Sure it doesn’t sound like a-lot of time to Cure V. But it’s more than enough. Hell even if V isn’t cured. He/She goes out Surrounded by a new family of loved ones. Cruising The desert with the sun on their skin, and wind in their hair. Sounds like a good life to me.
I just want to say one thing here to all the panam lovers. If you all remember the campfire where you sit by panam's side gazing at the stars and if you raise a toast to scorpion, panam quietly raises a toast to jackie(you told her about jackie during a ride). That was the moment i fell in love with her character and the overall writing of the game.
A lot of ppl are saying that nomad V found closure with this ending But what about streetkid or corpo V, they ride off into the sunset with panam and they’re finally free of the shackles that night city gave them, overall the best ending
This ending is probably the happiest for V, but I think Johnny's ending is the best one overall. V only gets 6 months, Johnny gets a whole new life to live. He gets a 2nd chance, something people like him rarely do, and you can tell he grew as a person and is not going to waste it. This ending felt the most "correct" to me, like that's how the story should have ended. Seeing Panam's message during the credits hurt like fuck though
@@RuptimusPrime I can see that. Still though, I think there’s hope for V in the badlands. After all misty’s cards told the future once, they can do it again
I started as CORPO guy. You almost felt how your character is tired. And when you leave city never looking back, it's like you at last free. Left everything, and just move on. Instead of fame and money your choose people close to you. And scene when you come out of the tank and see water and stars... It's just wow... Chills... I almost felt the fresh air! Just amazing!
I felt the same way I was corpo honestly glad I picked Corpo wanted nomad but seeing yourself as corpo you grew up in the rich alone power night city always needed to stay on top never could enjoy life or a family but meeting a person that showed you a family love and compassion that you can’t get from nightcity just made me tear up at the end when my character looks finally at peace and no longer need a life coach
Me too, dude. An ex-corpo finally finding peace and love. This ending was so powerful: the acceptance of death, the getaway from greed and pain, choosing to live love till his time comes. A true success. The mix of emotions I felt, man... Remorse, relief, happiness, passion... Just awesome. Behind all the bugs and crashes, that's what we find.
Started out as a Nomad, but it’s good for Corpos too. As a Corpo you start out under Arasaka control & ended out free with people you could call family.
This ending is prefect answer to Dexted deShawn's question - Would you rather live in peace as Mr. Nobody... or go down for all times in a blaze of glory?
“ I was in in a million pieces before I met you V . But you broke me into another million pieces but you were the only one who could put those pieces back together” - Panam 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Can someone remind when does she say it? Today just rewatched ending, didn't find it, though was sure it was during dialogue with the view on Night City.
"my life was in a million pieces before I met you V. You broke it into a million more, but sometimes that is the only way you can start to put things back together again."
It feels good, just scrolling down the comment section and realizing, despite all the hate going on for the game , that some people like me, like us, value this game and see the real potential. To me the immersion and the storyline was / is amazing. This end , this was the perfect one for my V I believe as I started as a Nomad , Nightcity made him live some incredible things but also took everything from him so seeing that an outsider like Panam was his get away ... I just hope people will eventually give a second chance to the game and to CD and realize the potential of it, letting them the opportunity to do the dlc's. Cheers to everyone 🤘✌
ohh man you have no idea how it's been breaking my heart to see all the hate for this game. I just finished the 3 different endings with the Nomad path, and wow I have never felt so much emotions in a game like this before other than RDR2. Especially in writing and storytelling, it really is a masterpiece!
@@LukeMXack The devs did an amazing job despite the investors' pressure on them and management, seems like they're working even harder to fix everything that need to be fix, these people ( devs ) are giving so much passion and love into it and that's... beautiful !

That anyone is truly free just once - when they know they have nothing to lose" -Panam "ALDECALDOS!" -Saul, during his final moments "Look at it this way; life can't disappoint if you don't have expectations, illusions. Maybe that's exactly what freedom is, brother." -Bobby "If that's freedom, why do I feel like I can't breathe - like somebody's gripped my throat and won't let go?" -Teddy "Like I said, Teddy. @@Fojabass I wouldn't call it underwhelming. I got scared of that guy on hardest difficulty. And believe me, CDPR wouldn't forget about Blackhand. He will be a part of the expansion. One way or another
@@Fojabass I felt the Smasher fight was still fun even if he was pretty easy. I spent about 40 hours of act 2 running around doing gigs and violent crimes because I didn’t want to rush the story. But unfortunately I got so much rare and legendary gear, so many mods and money that my V on very hard was pretty much an unstoppable, hacking, mantis blade slashing, guns in the 600 Dps shooting, superhero jumping, auto health healing tank for the next 50 hours so fights became a formality for me 😂
Exactly! First you get disillusioned about the corpos when they toss you out like it's nothing, then you become a legendary merc, and end your adventure among a new family of Nomads. Best ending!
That sounds like a really nice way to go about it, but I also think there’s something poetic about being a Nomad who loses their way in the city, but learns what it was exactly they lost by leaving their nomad family at the start. After losing Jackie and making new friends, they find their new family and leave the city with their family and the person they love. Maybe they won’t live long, but they’ll live with their family to the end.
@@evildoctortaco Yep, Nomad->Nomad feels very poetic. Corpo->Nomad can as well, though my character (at least the way I envisioned them) never would've even applied for a job at a corp, let alone accepted.
Yes this is my Canon ending for Corpo V. He's been inside, he's seen the corruption and dog eat dog attitude of the corporations enough to reject it and have life as a Nomad have a real grounded appeal. Street kid V wouldn't know any better, he wouldn't have the life experience and might think being a corpo was all champaigne and limos, so the arasaka ending is my canon one for him. Nomad V as an outsider might feel like he's out of his depth and so would be more likely to turn to an "expert", ie Johnny and Rogue, so that's my canon ending for him.
"My life was in a million pieces, you broke it into a million more, but sometimes it's only then you could piece it together" - Panam Palmer 2077. God i love this game.
After doing this. I felt entirely tired. They really brilliantly captured the emotion of the moment and how truly tired V likely was at this moment. Time to rest legend. You’ve earned it.
SPOILERS It's such a fantastic ending. Aside from the fact that Hanako and Takemura don't make it (It's sad that I wish I'd let Takemura go out on his own terms, rather than saving him), pretty much everyone gets a happy ending. It's so nice to see Judy actually happy, having left Night City behind, and V and Panam get a real future to look forward to, since it's heavily implied that V's medical condition can be significantly slowed, or even stopped with the right treatment, contrary to what Alt says. Sure, he might not live as long as Panam, but according to Misty's Tarot (Which throughout the game, is never wrong) he has a bright future ahead!
@@0jutai SPOILERS Female V here, Judy goes with you if you romance her with this ending! And is insanely happy to do so, that coupled with the basilisk on the water and the stars and silence above, was just too good. As well as the phone call afterwards, I couldnt handle it. Chopped Onions.
@@0jutai Alt's Intelligence is limited to Arasaka's infrastructure. There is no future for V in Night City as confirmed by V and Delemain's conversation on the way to the Afterlife in the merc ending. For V to live, they need to find help somewhere else. In any case, he/she gets to spend it with people that actually care about him/her. I think DLC will revolve around multiple endings for the game. For one, they definitely need to do Crystal Palace. Another one could revolve around visiting another city in the NUSA. Also, it would be cool to play as another character and meet V (though this is highly unlikely from a gameplay perspective due to being easier to simply continue playing as V). CDPR hinted that we, as the player influence V's choices, but by the end of the game (if you control Johnny) V has their own personality separate from player control
The most beautiful ending to any game I’ve ever played in the most beautiful game I’ve ever played. The most meaningful choice to any game I’ve ever played in the most immersive game I’ve ever played. The most unforgettable journey to any game I’ve ever had in the most amazing game I’ve ever played.
the only real problem I saw with that was how will they implement the expansion with the star ending? Part of this ending is leaving night city never to return, I know circumstances can change and everything but I’m curious to see how they work it out.
@@Purp1ehaz3 Easy. V needs to find a cure. Right? Well, have V visit another city or area in the NUSA with the Aldecaldos trying to find a cure for his/her condition. Simply continue V's story. Considering CDPR's track record, I'd expect this to be the second DLC similar to Touissant for Geralt. First DLC will most likely be Crystal Palace as it was heavily hinted at in the story and The Sun ending.
I FELT like V in this moment. Just like him/her, I felt TIRED. The moment hit even harder now that I’m seeing my character for the first time outside of mirrors and menus. I had a smile grow on my face when Panam held V’s arm. During the scene when the Aldecaldos give you the jacket, I felt like I was one of them. I felt sad when saying my final goodbyes to Judy. It’s a feeling I haven’t gotten from a game before.
I felt like V in all of the endings except the Crystal Palace one, that felt like someone else. The Arasaka endings just felt like a tired and helpless/trapped V that realized they made the wrong choice, but maybe there was no right choice. If you play Fem V, Judy actually comes with you on the Aldecaldo's ending. She leaves Night City in every ending.
That moment the game goes third-person, it was quite magical. V's story is concluding, our time with him and Johnny are over and we aren't inside their head anymore.
@@pizzasaurolophus The Devil ending is widely considered to be the worst. You kill Johnny, sell out to a corporation and help them exploit more people, and it's a living nightmare. However, as long as V chooses to return to Earth, I think the ending is pretty good. Even though V makes the wrong decision, she still changes as a character because allying with Arasaka teaches her that her dogged pursuit of survival is wrong. Looking at Earth, V realizes that a free life is better than a chance at immortality, and she holds onto the necklace. She even sings 'Never Fade Away,' showing that there's still a part of Johnny inside her. In this ending, Johnny says something to V before he dies, "What matters is the principle. The code you live by that defines who you are. It shows you the way home and puts you back together again," and V takes it to heart.
@@pizzasaurolophus Arasaka endings where you return to Earth (with Takemura alive or not) are THE ONLY endings where V is still alive. In EVERY other ending Alt transfers you into Mikoshi with the Soulkiller. Soulkiller kills you and makes a digital copy of you but that’s not you, it’s an AI just like Johnny.
OMG that scene in The Witcher 3 was a gut punch. Geralt is supposed to be really good at suppressing his emotions but he totally loses it when he turns over Ciri and that was painful. In fact that entire scene was so well done. Like even the way he enters the room, he opens the door slowly, and walks in there slowly, like there's a grave threat in there that he doesn't want to meet but knows he has to. And that game really set that moment up beautifully too, since it doesn't happen until like many many hours into the game, so you've already invested so much into the game and then bam that happens... Ugh, the memories of playing The Witcher 3... And yes, Cyberpunk was a wonderful ride as well, but that Ciri scene has to be the absolute best emotional gaming moment for me...
The good ending is (imo) one of the most emotionally draining endings (in a VERY good way) im normally not the type to cry to videogame endings, but i really really struggled not crying with tears of joy for this one
@@Jerac1000 Right! It was powerful and heartwrenching seeing what our sudden absence did to the people we'd befriended along the way. Misty saying something like "I don't think you realized how many friends you had, V" hit me haarrrrrrd

I don't know if its just me, but hearing this song legit gives me the chills. V and Panam looking towards the future with hope in thought. @@ShinjiIkariGamer The casual portion of the gaming community. How much does it suck that those not even very interested are the ones that get catered and products adjusted for?
I found the respect characters like Goru had for the Nomads touching. They were just a bunch of people that didnt want to get crushed by the corp and chose to ride out from under their thumb. Was great starting the game as a street kid and ending it as a Nomad.
@@01imh Yeah it's very unclear that that's even an option. I just thought "I wonder..." and used my cyberware to jump back up and he happend to acctually be saveable. Turns out you need it for a trophy as well so happy days.
The whole conversation about nomads and their tendencies with Goro was really sweet, especially with nomad V offering for him to join them in the Badlands when everything settled. Wish we'd been able to romance him or at least have an ending other than the Arasaka one where him and V are still close.
Panam is one of the most realistic video game love interests in a long time. You don't save her village and bang her on the first date. She isn't just some foil to your character. She has her own motivations, desires, and emotions. And spoilers for the Temperance ending, if you let Johnny take your body and were referencing Panam, she's the only one to figure out what happened, and swears that she'll track Johnny to the ends of the earth if she has to. I was oddly touched by that.
@@JB-xl2jc I know you can hear the hatred in her voice because Johnny basically tool her everything from her V was her everything I found it really sad on the suicide ending when she says she will make you wish you never met her but you can hear the tremble in her voice and how she just wants to break down and cry.
@@aura3233 Yeah, the suicide one to me showed that she was in so much pain that she just couldn't process it at all. She couldn't even show sadness because she was so broken by it. Judy went full on sadness, Panam went so far past sadness that it erupted into impotent rage. Very powerful.

Yeah, Nomad start and Nomad ending is one of the most redeeming stories for V. Nomad ending for other backstories still works but it's not as emotionally relevant or impacting. Am I the only one who feels that the Nomads were the most developed characters narratively speaking?
@@thestarlord7673 The Nomads were great! I don't think they were developed more than other characters too much, just that they are a really stark contrast to the folk in Night City so we as players notice them a lot more.
After all the bloodshed, betrayals, and near-death experiences, V finally gets a peaceful ending. The future is uncertain, the chip still slowly killing them...but there's still hope. There may be another way to live, free from the chip. But for now, enjoy the freedom V. And your new family.
One year old comment l, but a radio ingame talks about an exerimental treatment using nanites to treat multiple sclerosis, which is when your immune system attacks the nervous system…sound familiar? Yup, basically what the chip is doing to you in this ending.
@@extremeequalist932 That's Biotechnica for you. But yea if you're familiar with Cyberpunk's lore you'd know that there's a ton of options for V to get himself fixed. Be that Biotechnica medical nanites, StormTech bioengineering or a Raven Microcybernetics Gemini.
@draochvar9646 I'm hella late commenting, but thanks for that information. Even after getting this ending, I still had a lingering concern V didn't find a cure. But reading what you put finally put my mind at ease
why were so many tracks missing from the OST damnit the ending made me cry tears of relief and happiness. That ‘breathe free’ prompt really sums up the ending; it was so genuine
The naming of the prompts was so good. Breathe Free, I really felt it when I hit that. And... well, in the Arasaka ending, the prompt was "Surrender to Arasaka", and shit, I really felt that one too... unfortunately.
I'm a year late to the party, but it's the only ending I can play without becoming genuinely upset (partially for how serene it is, partially because doing anything other than leaving NC with Judy breaks my heart). It's such a beautiful ending for a truly beautiful game, and I hate that I still can't listen to it on the official OST
This would be amazing. Not only would it fill out the storyline pieces I care most about, it would also leave the people who picked corpo ending high and dry, and that's what corpo sellouts deserve :) Jokes aside, my money's on a crystal palace DLC first. Why? Well, the connection is obvious for the Sun ending (Secret ending or Rogue ending) since you're literally floating there at the end. But where's the connection for the Nomad ending? There is one! In the lore, the Aldecaldos have a LOT of ties to a corporation called StormTech Corp, who do bioengineering (including neurological engineering). It's not directly referenced in game, but I'll wager that the "contacts" Panam says she has probably work for that corp. But what does that have to do with Crystal Palace? Well, StormTech has holdings on the Crystal Palace satellite. I think it's very, very likely that for both The Star and The Sun endings, Mr Blue Eyes will have you do a heist on customer info for the Crystal Palace and then while you're there, direct you to heh, storm the StormTech facilities, as a "payment"- and there, you'll find the start of a plot thread for finding a way to last longer than 6 months. The Sun ending has you already doing this, but I bet in The Star ending you'll get a call from Mr Blue Eyes who'll explain to you what the job is, and you'll be able to leverage the Nomad's resources instead of the shuttle provided by Mr. Blue Eyes.

I want an "v's last day", type story, something like logan, arasaka or kang tao goes after v and aldecaldos and v has to recover his strengh to fight once more and protect his family, it could expand what happened in the six months he stayed with them, settling, perhaps starting an family with panam, That or an totally delusional story, like johnny living in v body and later finding out that v is still alive within the relic, trying to find a way to restore his body
"So you decided to ditch the City of Dreams - start anew, start fresh. I went through a few fresh starts in my life, too. And you know what? Don't regret a damn thing. You won't either. Give my regards to the south. And when you hear Johnny's voice, go ahead and smile, but don't bother to answer. It'll just be a voice on the radio recorded long ago, a fading reproduction, a flickering memory. You'll be someone completely different. Take care, V." -Viktor's description for All Along the Watchtower Edit: I know I originally put Johnny, but as Will says in the comments, it could actually be Viktor Vektors instead. One of the responses with Panam states that you receive meds from him during All Along the Watchtower, so honestly, fits more with that idea tbh. Sorry to lead everyone astray 😅
This was such an impactful moment, V leaving Night City with the Aldecados in search of a new life. A short one but it doesn’t matter, what matters is the lives of all the people that V has helped along the way, their lives has forever changed for the better. Panam, Judy.... As for V, when you only have 6 months to live, it’s where you truly realize how short life is and starts to appreciate its value. That moment on the Basilisk under the night sky and over the water, is the moment when I really felt it in my heart. Just how precious it is. This is what makes games true art, and despite the bugs and misleading console marketing, I still consider Cyberpunk 2077 my personal game of the year.
It may not even be short. Panam did mention having contacts who may be able to help fix V and even if they are not... It's a start. Johnny asked V to never stop fighting, so I think he will still chase salvation... The only difference being that he is no longer alone.
The only ending with genuine hope. Even Misty’s last reading confirms it. Nomad to merc and back to nomad. My first play through was still the best. Love this game.
And ironically, the Phantom Liberty ending enhances The Star ending, showing that it's not just Arasaka that can cure V. If the NUSA can also cure V, then there's a significantly greater chance that one of Panam's contacts can too. Between that, and Misty's readings, yeah, I think V got through it in the end.
Man if you started on the nomad lifepath this ending was just all kinds of perfect. Your family was broken and you went in Night City trying to make it on your own. You had some help, and maybe even some semblance of family with Jackie. Tragedy struck and you came out maybe a little worse for wear. But in the end, for whatever time you have left, you got freedom and found a family again, things that are worth so much more than a legendary reputation.
It's such a perfect ending, regardless of the lifepath you chose. Nomad V already understands the importance of a nomad family. The cameraderie and closeness that you can't get anywhere else. They thought that after leaving the Bakkers, they didn't need it anymore, but after meeting Panam, and getting involved with the Aldecaldos made them realise that everything Night City has to offer is hollow, and false in comparison. They're back where they belong. Corpo and Street Kid V's both grew up with Night City as all they'd ever known. But after exiting that tunnel, and coming out onto the lake, with nothing but the sky, the stars, and Panam beside them, they realise that the weight of the world has just been lifted from their shoulders. That first deep breath of fresh air, and the start of a new life. If you convince Judy to leave, she shares the same sentiment. Living out in Oregon, she's free of the opressive, fake atmosphere of Night City. Just out there, enjoying what life has to offer.
I think its especially powerful for Corpo V, who was apparently born into that life and probably grew up only knowing competition, always having to watch their back for the next ambitious viper with dreams of a corner office. So imagine growing up in that world and then being shown a life where everyone was family, where everyone looked out for one another and had each other's back through thick and thin. As Misty says to V in her last message to them "Be happy V... Be *Free..."*
Panam calling saying that she will "make it up to you" and how much you mean to her as she's out doing some tribe elder mission... shit's too good. Even the good ending is bittersweet, it's not like you and Panam can just lounge about all day eating grapes like Blood and Wine ending. She has to look out for more than just you. "It's perfect - all great Panam. We're goin' home."

from being a no one in night city, to a legendary merc, gaining and loosing family, only to find yourself with the best family of all, people of the free. Something beautiful about that. At the end, driving over the lake that reflects everything, including us, including what we went through and what happened. The scenes with the nomads made me tear up, I was able to see what it feels like to be free, even from the depths of my home in a pandemic.
Couldn't agree more! Such amazing writing and characters all around, it's unbelievable. Many of the themes and such in this art piece of a game actually have me thinking and re-evaluating my own values. I want the kind of belonging that the nomads have, something I realized I didn't even know I was missing previously.
Who would have thought that at least one of the endings (and to me, the best and most emotionally satisfying) of a game called *Cyberpunk* 2077 would have a conclusion perfectly served by a slow, reflective, peaceful, and mostly acoustic guitar melody instead of the kind of music that usually comes to mind at the mention of "cyberpunk?"
I’ve choose to live my last 6 months with Panam on my side. She gave me the strength, loyalty, support, a family, hope. She’s my home. Night City took everything from me, but i’m not upset. Cause in the end, this damn town gave me a reason not to give up. The best thing i’ve ever had. Her. Goodbye y’all. V.

@@windywalker4598 There's no doubt about it, the endings are incredibly poignant and thought provoking, and they hurt and are so sweet at the same time. It's been a long while since a fictional medium moved me this much. I just want V and Panam to be happy together.... and to be able to grow old together.
This ending is so perfect for me especially if you are a male nomad, you come in night city hoping to get a better life after leaving your clan, you do jobs with Jackie, your best friend, and then suddenly you lose everything. You try to save yourself from the chip and on the way you meet Panam, you realize how many thing you have in common with her, fall in love and then when the time comes she and her clan stand by your side, you suddenly become a part of clan again, but this time everything is perfect, except from the fact that I will only last for 6 months.
The way I see it, Nomad V is saved by Panam. I don't mean literally. But it's easy to feel like you're constantly bailing Panam out when doing her questline. She calls and it's kinda like "Ooook who do you need me to save now?". Was happy to do it, but it really feels like V is always riding in to save the day. But for a Nomad V, who left behind what remained of the Bakkers to fall into the trap of Night City, Panam saves him in a different way. Sure there's the chip, and her ending has her and the Aldecaldos putting everything on the line to save you. But above and beyond that, Panam saves V's soul. She gets him out of Night City, out of that quicksand. She's the only ending I think would lead to lasting fulfillment, even if it may not be forever. Being the best in Night City is the biggest white elephant in all history.
About those 6 months: The Aldecaldos are tight with not one but two corps that specialize in bioengineering and nanotech (that being StormTech and Biotechnica). So there's a good chance they'll find a means of curing V.
Honestly loved the story of this game and everything about it. Started really getting into it when panam came into play and after I got that ending I wanted more stuff to do with the aldecados and panam.
I can’t believe this. This truly is the first game where I’ve become so attached to the characters that it makes me sad to see an end. I loved the Nomad story line and I hope they add a DLC where Panam and the Aldecaldos somehow finds a cure for V. Bugs aside, this ending was amazing.
I can't bring myself to do any other ending except for The Star. V deserves to live the rest of their life happy, and hopefully live a longer life than was given to them.
my first play through i was a street kid. and it just kinda felt right going off with panam. after living and breathing the smog of the city for v’s whole life. to finally break free from it. and to get some real air. to fall in love w the wild and the independence of the badlands was really nice. and for v to finally not be alone. the city was always so isolating, everyone doing their own thing and not giving a shit. every mission and gig alone. to finally have a family around u really made it for me. i think what was the real cherry on top in this ending was getting to bring judy along too. to give judy the family she never had in the city. a family who will also be there for her once v is gone too. that rlly comforted me, knowing judy would be ok w the aldecaldos after v’s death just pulls at my heart strings.
After hours of grinding cyberpunk to get 100% on it I decided this was the perfect ending for V, She started out growing up in NC now leaving it all to rest as one of Night City's greatest legends leaving nothing behind and in my honest opinion this ending would be the best canon ending to Cyberpunk
I stayed up all night to finish the main story before the game was even out 24 hours. I got the perfect ending with Panam. I haven’t cried like that in a very long time. This game has left an emotional impact on me through the immersion and beauty in its world. I won’t ever forget the feeling of this last mission.
I felt the emotion well up in my chest with the Nomad ending... more than finishing any video game ever, I think, actually. Similarly, the corporate ending filled me with more dread, impotent rage, and shame than any game ending has.
beautiful ending and the first one I got. Now for the DLC... Really hpe CDPR turn it around because no matter what flaws this game has the storytelling, characters and their relationships are always their USP.
“You know how things work in Night City? The stronger survive. But that’s how things stand. You’re either somebody or you fizzle out into nothin’.” - V “NC ain’t a city that lets you get by without buddies.” - Jackie Welles “Be very careful, my friend. We are all so far from home.” - Goro Takemura
The ending with Panam and Aldecaldos is my favorite ending. V found a family for whom he became very important and found the love of his life Panam that would do anything for him. Maybe in the future there will be a DLC that will further expand the relationship between V and Panam and expand the entire Aldecaldos story, I really hope for it!!
5:00 this, at this point you don't even feel anythying but a sense of relief like a huge weight was lifted off of your shoulders. I gotta admit I got very emotional when V stepped out of the basilisk, but I really lost it and started breaking down crying when Panam stepped out and held onto V's arm as they both looked forward to their future together.
Aint finna cap, when I played this part, my life was not preem, (like V him/herself) and when I played the Stars ending, with Panam beside my boy... and he closed his eyes while this music played, no front I felt a wave of what I could only describe as peace... after what can seem like a ton of pain, you reach the end and find peace in a new beginning. Frankly this game can't voice how much emotion it gives in those final scenes.... and I can only say I hope others feel the same.
When I got to the end... Damn in was a wild ride. Nomad beginnings, Nomad's ending. It was emotional for me, the feeling that even with everything it cost, V got out.
The Aldecaldos were some of the most well written characters I’ve ever seen while playing games, and I’m happy I’m a part of their family. Here’s to seeing them again in a future expansion. “It’s perfect - all great Panam. We’re going home.” Also does anyone know if this track is on Spotify? I can’t find it :/
"The star" ending with Panam and Judy by my side made up for all the quirks, QOL issues and missing interactivity the game has. When this game works and all of its designs come together, it's definitely one of the best thing ever happened to gaming. Pyramid Song, the Arasaka parad, the Heist, Panam, the Peralez, US Cracks, so many wonderful moments. How many games had you dig a tunnel under a gigantic corpo building and infiltrate it from the bottom, seeing the gigantic pistons protecting it from earthquakes ? How many had you dive with a potential love interest to discover a flooded city and hear your companion thoughts and memories as you go along ? How many games had you feel like a rockstar god playing gigs in front of an audience ? As for the life paths, it comes from a mind fantasy but, I loved to see my corpo V losing it all, trying to then win it back with some vengeance while chasing the illusions the city laid in front of her by becoming a merc, only to realize the City is only there to eat you alive, as it did with Judy, with Rogue, with Jackie, all those broken souls who at some point believed in those illusions to end up deceived by it. What's important is being with who you care about, thus leaving the city as a nomad with Panam and Judy. Turned out the City had been my biggest enemy all along, not the chip. This Corpo becoming Nomad was sweet and emotional. It felt like a long lasting redemption. Like an answer which was always in front of her eyes, but she needed that particular journey to understand it. I hope there is more in store for V, Judy and Panam. This trio, along with the other wonderful side characters featured in the game, made it overall one of the best narrative experiences I've ever played.
Just this soundtrack man. Soo many feels. Sadness, happiness, relief yet also filled with grief. Am I happy that my female V got this ending. Getaway with Judes and the Aldecaldos. I rly hope we will get a DLC that's about finding a cure in the Arizona. A lot of people are speculatin and after replaying the Stars ending, it felt incomplete. It was a beautiful way to end the NC arc, and start anew. I rly hope that's the case! Also, when I was exploring the Eastern border of the map, I got a message saying that there is "yet" to explore more in tge future. This only strengthens my beliefs in the potential Arizona or map expansion DLC theory!!
@@sillylittlesheepjax6009 it makes plenty of sense, I totally disagree! You and Panam become family, you save the Aldecados from certain room, you reunite Saul and Panam's relationship, you help Panam become the leader she couldn't be without a support system. You would've never gotten Hellman, or even close to Mikoshi, without her and the Aldecados. It's about broken, flawed people coming together and getting out of the nightmare that is Night City and it's unending American dream lie by refusing to give up or give in.

It indeed is the best ending no matter what the lifepath is.
Started streetkid, ended nomad. I always knew I was one but I’m glad I grew into it rather than choosing it at first.

@@Fojabass I felt the Smasher fight was still fun even if he was pretty easy. I spent about 40 hours of act 2 running around doing gigs and violent crimes because I didn’t want to rush the story. But unfortunately I got so much rare and legendary gear, so many mods and money that my V on very hard was pretty much an unstoppable, hacking, mantis blade slashing, guns in the 600 Dps shooting, superhero jumping, auto health healing tank for the next 50 hours so fights became a formality for me 😂
The best way to play this game is to start as a corpo, become a street kid and end as a Nomad

It's so nice to see Judy actually happy, having left Night City behind, and V and Panam get a real future to look forward to, since it's heavily implied that V's medical condition can be significantly slowed, or even stopped with the right treatment, contrary to what Alt says.

@@draochvar9646 Yuup
@draochvar9646 I'm hella late commenting, but thanks for that information. Even after getting this ending, I still had a lingering concern V didn't find a cure. But reading what you put finally put my mind at ease
why were so many tracks missing from the OST damnit the ending made me cry tears of relief and happiness. That ‘breathe free’ prompt really sums up the ending; it was so genuine
I was also wondering that because i definitely need this on my spotify playlist
Same!
The only two dlcs I want is space station and arizona. fill in the gaps of the peralez storyline somewhere in between. AHHHH THIS GAME IS TOO GOOD
The expansion I want is. Cyperpunk2077: Adventures with Jackie
This would be amazing. Not only would it fill out the storyline pieces I care most about, it would also leave the people who picked corpo ending high and dry, and that's what corpo sellouts deserve :)
Jokes aside, my money's on a crystal palace DLC first.
Blue Eyes.
@@JB-xl2jc reading your comment is like listening to ME2's Suicide Mission or Mad Max Fury Road's Brothers In Arms: the tunnel is dark, the howling wind chills you to your bones, the gravel you step on is jagged sharp and slippery, but despite all the adversity, there is light at the end of the tunnel, there is... hope.
I want an "v's last day", type story, something like logan, arasaka or kang tao goes after v and aldecaldos and v has to recover his strengh to fight once more and protect his family, it could expand what happened in the six months he stayed with them, settling, perhaps starting an family with panam,
That or an totally delusional story, like johnny living in v body and later finding out that v is still alive within the relic, trying to find a way to restore his body
Take care, V."
-Viktor's description for All Along the Watchtower
Edit: I know I originally put Johnny, but as Will says in the comments, it could actually be Viktor Vektors instead. One of the responses with Panam states that you receive meds from him during All Along the Watchtower, so honestly, fits more with that idea tbh. Sorry to lead everyone astray 😅
Shit.. never read that description. Damn... Really hits

This was such an impactful moment,
V leaving Night City with the Aldecados in search of a new life.
The theme when Panam gets made head of the clan is just beautiful.
So glad I ended as a Nomad.
“Happier ending? Wrong city, wrong people.”
That’s why you leave the city and find the right people
Panam calling saying that she will "make it up to you" and how much you mean to her as she's out doing some tribe elder mission... shit's too good. Even the good ending is bittersweet, it's not like you and Panam can just lounge about all day eating grapes like Blood and Wine ending. She has to look out for more than just you.
"It's perfect - all great Panam. We're goin' home."
Congratulations Samurai! You’ve beat the game with the best ending possible!🏜🕶
It's far from being the best ending you die in 6 months remember
@@mr.fahrenheit2157 the suicide one is the best ending cause the problem with that one is they leave night city and Judy abandons her family just to be alone after 6 months
@@shouldfindaname5433 You cheated death once when everyone said it was impossible. You could do it again, especially with the Aldecaldo's contacts in Arizona.
@@shouldfindaname5433 Best ending is the blaze of glory. Take matters into your own hands and do what Johnny couldn't. Fuck up Arasaka without getting anyone you care about killed in the process, and ride into the sunset knowing that you just put the middle finger to God and got away with it.
@@moonsaves If only that ending was combined with the Nomad one, then it would be perfect.
Becoming a corpo, getting screwed over by Arasaka, Jackie/intro , bumping into the nomads/meeting Panam, The raid on Arasaka and escaping Night City. It all seemed poetic, Becoming a loner and trapped as a corpo, a lapdog for Arasaka, to stepping into the nomad life with Panam. That last prompt said everything, could really feel V let go of everything he left behind in Night City.
The wording of the last prompts is so fucking good. Breathe Freely, I really felt it.
And Spoilers for the Corporate ending..... the last prompt is "Surrender to Arasaka". Oof. I really felt that one, too..... and I wish I fucking hadn't. Being a completionist sucks sometimes...
from being a no one in night city, to a legendary merc, gaining and loosing family, only to find yourself with the best family of all, people of the free.
I'm gonna miss the feeling of loading cyberpunk for the first time. Already do
"We Nomads choose who to make our family. A choice forges strong bonds and a higher duty that stands strong as an old oak."
"It doesn't matter what happens, what will happen. Within this family, nobody turns their back on you. Do you understand?"

I really dig playing the game as a corpo and ending it with the Star ending, That way my V technically experiences all 3 backgrounds from life employed by Arasaka to Surviving rock bottom as a hired gun with a street kid like Jackie by your side to finishing it off by becoming a Nomad realizing neither life as a corpo or a hired gun is for him.

Yeah... Day 2 after finishing game : total emptiness - both feelings and zero thoughts in my head. Yesterday felt just shattered and was thinking for hours. Looks like right now I am just emotionally drained
@@JB-xl2jc well said
About those 6 months: The Aldecaldos are tight with not one but two corps that specialize in bioengineering and nanotech (that being StormTech and Biotechnica).
So there's a good chance they'll find a means of curing V.
I love the fact that the song plays when you meet panam and plays again at the ending scene with her.
This game was everything for me
Honestly loved the story of this game and everything about it.
4:30 I love that moment with you and Panam sitting there plus the music setting the moment. ❤️

@@AB-wf2js My canon ending as male V
After hours of grinding cyberpunk to get 100% on it I decided this was the perfect ending for V, She started out growing up in NC now leaving it all to rest as one of Night City's greatest legends leaving nothing behind and in my honest opinion this ending would be the best canon ending to Cyberpunk
This was my first ending and wow... really got chills when I saw V in third person. Gave a standing ovation for a story well written

The ending is one of the best I've ever seen, amazing game
Hearing that theme at 5:00 + the cutscene of V finally feeling free made all teary eyed, first time around I played.
This makes me feel as if everything will be alright and that every single one of us is going to make it.
This makes me feel strange and like i'm missing something, but i love it.
We’re going home.”

5:00 that’s the time when you hear this soundtrack and think..what a game...
