I appreciate this recipe, but also very much appreciate you showing HOW to cook it! I’m a total novice, and the tutorial is very helpful. I will seek out your koozie video (hopefully).
Yummm! Food. Chris gave a shout out on your channel so I figured I would check it out. Looks like I have some videos to watch at work tomorrow. :) Andy
No, I make the gravy first ,using cold water per instructions with a little extra water. Then , after gravy gets happy, the dehydrated biscuits are added.
You could squeeze the bag with the biscuits in beside the bag of gravy as soon as you put it in the pot and cozy...ie without mixing it in. That would preheat it without sogging it. Thanks for the recipe idea. I'm not sure I've seen the dehydrated sausage but I have seen bacon crumbles in the stores here.
Hi Tom! Thanks for great meal ideas. Question about the use of your put and cozy set-up. Would it be better to put the bag in the cozy without the pot? Doesn't putting the pot in act like a heat sink and pull heat away from your meal? I guess we need the Myth Busters to investigate. Thanks again for the great video.
Good question and I would agree if the pot were left in the open but the pot is put inside the cozy so any heat loss should be minimal . My food has always been piping hot even in the winter... Thanks for watching!
+Father and Son Adventures of Iowa (FSAIOWA) Thanks so much! We still have mountain snow but its definitely spring in the valley! Freezing all night 50 all day lol!

If you freeze the biscuits before you vacuum pack them, they will keep their shape.
