I loved him so much! I think I own ever record he ever recorded. Had so much fun at so many concerts starting in my 20’s on the campus of William&Mary in my 20’s. I am now 73.
I remember he called in an interview in the late 1990's...the d.j.'s asked what he was up to. His answer was all about carpooling his kids to school.😊 That tickled me.
I think he once said to his parrot head followers to buck up, His margaritaville was a persona and did not live that lifestyle of drunkeness like everyone thought. From the NY Times.. "Jimmy Buffett Does Not Live the Jimmy Buffett Lifestyle"
I got to see him 07/05/1981 in the old Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego with another group of folks. Great show all around. Festival seating.😎 He's an alcoholic. He must have been a wreck because I know how my tattoos got there. Salt me😁 RIP Jimmy😇
Love the mood, but think it was not an Europian thing. Discussid it with my younger wife. The same result, we heard the name, but he is not so known in Europe. Sad, because it makes more fun than our folk music... Honestly
What Jimmy Buffet song should I share with Lulu next?

Loved Jimmy's vibes and ability to unite people. Thanks much for honoring his life accomplishments.
Jimmy created his own lane. There will never be another.
I attended a Jimmy Buffet concert in Miami. What an adventure!

Yup. Definitely unique. One in hundreds of billions. He will be missed.
So sad that we have lost Jimmy Buffett, R.I.P.

Jimmy Buffett's sister has a restaurant/shop in Gulf Shores where this was played - her name/place is Lulu's.
The dream weaver guy died also, and the lead singer of smash mouth.
He was also a Saints fan and attended their first game at Tulane Stadium as did I only I was selling soft drinks in the nose bleed section.
