Great video David. Very informative. The results look great. I'm at the 6th month stage of my transplant i had done in Sydney. I'm happy with it too. Can’t wait for the 12th month results.
Liked your Makati video also. Cheers.
Good for you mate. Thank you for sharing your experience. Cheers.
Wow, I'm impressed with the result. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
You look amazing brother, thanks for making this video, I hope to get this done sometime this year.
Thanks for the great video DK!
Glad you’re happy with the outcome. Very nice.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Liked the video from beginning to end how’s everything turned out. The hair transplant looks amazing 😊
Very interesting. I had no clue what was involved in a hair transplant. Very brave of you to share. You look great. 😊
That’s a great video! You explained it and showed it better than anyone I’ve known yet. I thought you were a good looking young man to begin with, so I’m just happy that you’re happy with your hair.
Looks amazing man , I remember commenting one of your videos a few months ago saying I noticed hair growth.. it all makes sense now haha
Amazing result. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing result!!!
It looks very nice!! 💕
That's a fantastic result David.
This is right up my alley! I'm a Hair Transplant Specialist from the U.S. with 15 years of experience. Hair transplant is a very common procedure. The results are very natural therefore no one will ever know you had surgery unless you tell them yourself. Contact a specialist to see what your options are and get your confidence back!! **Not a paid comment** Lol
Wasted money. Men are perfect the way they naturally are, don't need artificial modifications.
the more effort you put to please females, they attracted they will be.
Looks great mate! Congrats
You look great. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Looks sharp mate
Wow, your hair looks amazing! I can't believe how natural and full it looks. I've been thinking about getting a hair transplant myself, and seeing your results has really made me consider it even more. You must be so happy with how it turned out.
You must be really proud of your results.
Best decision ever
LOOKING GOOD MY FRIEND, HOPE IT WON'T FALL OFF.
you will need to take finasteride and minoxidil to maintain. dht is the culprit causing hairloss. healthy new hair roots planted may become thinner over time and drop off. but for sure, the original hair will thin and fall off as we age. finasteride helps to reduces the dht. but there will be side effects.
minoxidil is helps dilate blood vessels, increasing blood flow, and promoting hair follicle stimulation, which lead to hair growth.
going for another touch up transplant in the future may be limited to number of grafts that can be harvested from the area previously harvested from. there are regions on the back of the head where its more prone to hairloss after transplant so the docs dont recommend.
overall looks fantastic. good luck with maintaining the hair!
Definitely will probably jump back on finasteride in future
Don’t believe that dht is the culprit that’s a lie by big pharmaceutical companies They really are guessing Those prostate shrinking drugs are extremely dangerous. I know exactly what they do . They kill your prostate gland by killing cells You think that’s a good idea
It looks great and i'm happy for you ! :D
Excellent informative video. Thanks 🙏
Looks great!!
Your hair transplant looks natural. And I love😍 looking at your smile Anh David.😁
Looks good mate!
Looks good! kudos to you for sharing such a sensitive topic. hopefully it will last long term
That's awesome. Hair looking great 👍
This is a great and informative video, David. I just subscribed.
You honestly look 10 years younger now. It looks absolutely fantastic 👍
You hit the nail on the head. Some people look absolutely fine bald, but others don’t. You definitely did the right thing according to the shape of your face and head.
❤ wow you looks amazing w/ your new hair growth.
thank you for answering my question i sent you awhile ago mate
Nicely done! I come from your travel videos and wouldn't have noticed you had a hair transplant without this vid. I think I'd also get one myself, but unfortunately I also got a lot of grey hair already and I'm not sure if that would turn out as good.
Could always got in for a consultation and see I’d say
Wow looks great, thank you for sharing I will show my brother your video
Thanks mate
do whatever makes you happy David Looks good dude 💆🏻
Im 42 and lost hair due to diabetes. I been looking into many different procedures. Thanks for sharing and just wanted to say you look good man. I watch many videos of you in Vietnam and I'm Vietnamese and enjoy them.
Hey David - great insight and looks amazing btw! So awesome that you like it too. It looks like you might be back in Melb atm?Looking forward to your next adventure bro 😎
I did head back to Melbourne for a little rest :)
A well deserved break mate!
Hair looks incredible mate, good decision
Dude your new look is smooth like a criminal...U looking deadly as...Thank you for the sharing. Enjoy the rest of your everything. WORD!🤯🤯🤯
great result, congrats bro. Wild that you were in India and Nepal getting intense head massages and had no fears or issues with the transplant! do you have to take meds or use a specific shampoo from now on?
I was a bit scared to be honest haha, but they say around that 6 month mark it’s generally okay thankfully.
Not currently no, but potentially jump back on finasteride in futute
The horns area you mean lol looks good you should still use hims combination spray to help keep the new hair as it can have the same fate as the original
Great video..I'll gonna have a hair transplantation soon also (the first and the last one was when i was 30, mid forty, and now i'm sixty) ..I only had limited budget back then that's why the amount of ht was few only and now i'm confident to have a final great transplantation soon with my good retirement surplus.. Some people said ' You're vain' ! I don't think that people who having a hair transplantation is an act of vanity.. Actually ,It's an act of Taking Back of what you lost. .So gaining back is right!!
Thanks for sharing! You look so different now in a good way.
Do you still feel pain when you feel that they took chunks of your scalp off during the donor site extraction process?
No pain thankfully
You look great glad your happy , good video
looks great. thumbs up on the self-esteem!!!
Hey, I really appreciate you putting this out there. I saw Sonny's video too but to get this confirmation video was awesome.
Thanks for sharing…
Have you ever kept hair lengths of around 4 to 6 inches just to help with the coverage?
I got mine done at age 53 at Khơ Thị in Sài Gòn in the early summer of 2021 during the covid lock down. My hair got really thin in the middle and had about 4.5K hair follicles from the back (still a lot back there) transplanted for about 5K USD. I went through the 2nd hair wash and thereafter myself. I really loved to play scrapping off the glue like crush around those newly transplanted hairs which also fell off after several days or a few weeks. Within a few months back in the U.S, I almost got the entire head covered with lots of hair (about half full at much younger age). I gained lots of confidence in public places and started attracting much younger girls. I do look at least 15 years younger with short hair cut.
Do you have to take supplements or medication for the rest of your life to maintain your hair?
Do they have hair transplants in Saigon? can give me their exact address, please Thanks
You look great man! 👍
I enjoy watching this video, David. What was the maximum graft amount that you requested?
At this place they said 3500 was the max, so I got that
Good on ya mate, it looks good. Do you think something like this will work for a full bald head?
If you have no hair at all, then probably not sadly. If you have strong hair at the back still then potentially
You look awesome! Enjoy the rest of your youth.
whats the docs name?
Thanks for the informative documentary. End result looks great and I hope the pain and discomfort is worth it. I occasionally think about getting a transplant as I'm receding just like you were but I don't think the benefits would outweigh the costs. Besides there no way I could not drink alcohol for a month so I'll give the operation a miss (for now).
For me it was definitely worth it
I take my hat off to you David! I'm in a similar situation to you, but I just shaved it all off. To each his own!
Normal price for hair transplants in Thailand is around $1500-$1700 only. $4000 is too high.
Agree they saw him coming
Youlook great w/ your new hair.
Cấy tóc xong thần thái tuoi hẳn lên❤
Hi David, after treatment do you need to take medication for everyday >?
For the first 3 months yes, but after that it’s up to you if you want to keep taking finasteride
Great...i had mine done in istambul 3 months ago....😊..i m so happpy
Looks good
did you say how many grafts you had, for the 4 thousand US, very interested to know. Thanks.
3500
Location : Hairtran clinic (HT CLINIC) Thailand
That looks so painful David but most of my male friends have that problem too and they've gone to get transplants no biggie it's just a painful process to watch. Glad it worked out
The pain definitely worth the results haha
Congratulations Dave, men really look younger with thick hair on their heads.
Come to Korea David! We got all types of surgery here
I think Korean surgeons have less experience because genetically most Korean men have thick hair but when it comes to nose job and jawline surgery, yes, South Korea is the right choice.
How much the price range in Korea? Do you mind to share which good surgeons ?
Oh wow! The result looks really good. I seriously need to consider it as I’ve really bad hair loss and as a woman, I’m extremely insecure, especially taking pictures and being next to people. Wearing hats feels weird and can’t wear it “all the time.” Thanks for sharing!
I definitely have felt that pain of insecurity! Not a great feeling, and a hairtransplant definitely helped me with that
Your a good looking rooster with or without hair, just do whatever makes you happy and content 😊
How many graft you done?
3500
it looks good dude
What if you grow the transplanted hair longer. Will they fall off?
i think they took the hair from the areas which are less prone to hair loss like the ones on the back of the head or the sides and planted them on the front of the head, these hair follicles are dht resistant which is less prone to falling off.
Would you say the price is competetive to Turkey where it can be cheap as well?
Turkey much cheaper
Turkey definitely cheaper
You’ve inspired me to invest in a hair transparent rather than a shiny car I’m about to close a deal on, thank you 🙏🏽
I’ve been setting up business in VN the last 8 months with 3 trips from my home in Aus to date.
My question is why not choose a VN option as I see places in SG offer hair transplants as well?
Is it cheaper to do it in Thailand or Turkey?
Turkey probably
Jeez man... You look sooo much better than before. You look great now! You shouldn't have ANY regrets!
Keep it going bud from your Aussie mates whatever your feel good for you got one life live it to the fullest with no regrets damn what anyone says looks amazing process and procedure what’s next if chicks can get done every part why can’t we guy do too 🍻 stay safe bud ‼️‼️‼️
Will it still fall? How many times are you supposed to do it?
Really depends on the person or if you stay on finasteride it probably won’t fall out
Looking good babe. 😘
Very impressive . Can see the big different . Looking good 😍.
How many grafts was it? It's a big improvement. Personally I would stay on finasteride and minoxidil going down this path. Your new hair is still susceptible to hair loss and you can lose some else where like in the crown area. I also experienced severe hair loss in my early 20s and shaved my head till this day. Probably never going to do a transplant because the medications mentioned above is highly recommended as long as you want to keep the hair. I'm guessing you probably have enough donor hair for another procedure, but it's a finite amount. Good luck
yeah, but for some people they say they have side effects so yeah...for me personally i have next to zero side effects from the medications so i just pop one everyday, it's just the minoxidil is a little irritating because it's sticky and it sorta irritates my scalp.
3500 grafts. Probably in future will junp on finasteride again, but we’ll see
You say for the first 3 months not to exercise due to sweat ruining the hair, but thailand is a hot country. Does that mean you essentially have to shelter yourself for 3 months? I tend to sweat a lot when working in thailand, how would you get around that?
Sweating is a big no after the first 2 weeks, so I was sheltering for that time period. After that sweating is ok, just make sure you’re showering to clean it. But sun protection is really important over sweating, that’s where you’ll shelter it for at least 3 months by wearing a hat as an example
Bro, your hairline is like a lush amazon rain forest. Looking younger and more confident bro. Good Job
Wow awesome 👏 David,good lord I’m scared I think I might stick with a wig 😮
😅 Can be a tad daunting but results are well worth it haha
nice!
หล่อขึ้นเยอะเลย
what happens when the old hair recedes further back?
Possibly get another or use finasteride which seems to stop further hairloss
@@davidkhaiwhich you should be taking now in order to prevent further loss. Why wait until it’s too late when you can just take it now?
When I first saw the outline, I thought you were going to look like Eddie Munster.
Link to place?
Hairtran clinic Bangkok
Hi David , it completes your good look. Go get a Korean hairstyle, and you’ll be ready to become a popular kpop idol in no time.
Going to the same clinic in 2 weeks!
Nice! Best of luck :)
Hey, is minoxidil the one with less side effects than finistricide? And which one kills your erections?
Finasteride is the one known to kill erections in some people. Minoxidil can help hair regrowth but doesn’t stop hair loss
@@davidkhai I will avoid finastricide cause I already have problems down there sometimes, don't wanna risk making that worse
You look great
You were a good looking guy before and now you are a good looking guy with more hair. ❤️❤️❤️
How did the back look?
Back is still growing back, but looks great with fade
Would you please tell me location hair transplant. Or dr name. Thank you. ❤🎉
Sorry for all these questions man, but say you dont want to take finastricide (dont want ED), is it pointless getting a transplant?
No stress man, ask as much as you need! Not necessarily because the hairs that they do transplants which are from the back are generally the strongest, so your hairline could technique last for 10, 20 years if not more. It just you might lose hair more in the middle as an example so yiu could eventually have a bold spot there.
@@davidkhai wow, thanks for your responses mate
Look cool bro 😎
Looks good.. I always thought about doing it.. I have a receding hairline too., currently use minoxidil which helps, gave me 20% more hair growth .. $4k must be so much more in U.S. Thailand might be the way to go if I decide..
It’s super expensive in the US I hear! Thailand and Turkey are great cheap spots
