The 8-inch system on the S model actually gets the updated infotainment system, as it received a firmware update to match the new styling of the 10.25inch models.

While most reviews cover all the important aspects of vehicles, the one most important to me is the height of the front seats in relation to the ground. Never do we see an entry or exit to a vehicle by the driver to enable the viewer to establish whether the seat height is suitable for those with back problems or other disabilities. I currently drive an SUV but would like to move to a smaller hatchback but only if the seat height was suitable.
What’s up with the pricing of cars in Australia since COVID hit? The GT used to be $32K and now it’s $37K what the heck. I know the price spike isn’t exclusive to Kia though, everyone is charging significantly more money.
13:55 the new Cerato GT does 0-100km/h: 6.7 sec, which is only 0.3 sec slower than the Huyundai i30N. So this car is actually quite fast and it does actually have hot hatch performance (reference: ua-cam.com/video/YQ4WIG_WoXs/v-deo.html).
@@samirfakoua When I made this comment only the i30N manual was available and the acceleration times that I quoted were valid. The new auto obviously is faster.
The last generation Cerato GT had better value for money because it cost about $2000 cheaper, the only difference is the look of the car and it gets a handbrake instead of electric park brake.
Double price increase in a year for mere cosmetic change...disappointing from KIA. Unfortunately, other brands also increase their price with little improvement. The only exception is Toyota, which is offering hybrid technology to their new cars.
Would’ve rathered that they skip the sunroof in favour of the digital driver’s display and rear seat heating like they have in Korea, I guess at least you won’t need a new speedo screen in 10 years at least
The 2020 GT already has rear air vents which contray to what the presenter said. I own a BD GT. He should get his facts correct as also the 2020 Model already has vheated and ventalated front seast.
Well I've been waiting for months to drive the 2022 Cerato GT and finally today, I did. I love the look and all the safety features, and the quietness inside, BUT, I find the steering is very touchy, the brakes also, the headrest is super uncomfortable, (I like to sit upright and it hit me in the back of the head with every bump, posturally it's very poor, pushing a persons head into unnatural forward position). I don't like the push start, with no acc option, and that nothing turns off but the engine when you stop the car. I absolutely don't like the electric emergency brake as I rely a lot on my hand brake when at traffic lights or intersections on an incline, also when negotiating the tight and difficult entry, also on an incline, into our garage. But the most disappointing of all was the actual ride, which I found to be, "rough as guts", as the saying goes. When will manufacturers cater to women drivers, giving us a small car, with ALL the safety features without making it a Hotty. I don't need different drive modes, but I do want my sunroof and I do want that cross traffic safety feature and I do want it to have enough oomph that I can clear the hills with ease, and escape trucks wanting to sit on my backside at 120kph, and I don't want to end each drive getting out of my car with all my joints feeling like I've been hammered with a baseball bat. OH, one more thing, give me back my CD player, I'm old school, I want to play my CD's when I drive, and being older, well established, I have money to spend but can't find a car to suit my needs.
Small increase in pricing back in April? Uh, it's been on the rise over the last year due to COVID. Like $2500 more driveway for the outgoing Sport manual. Looks like the new models don't really bring that much, so happy I still have my 2020 Sport sedan manual.
They do have the sunroof option now? Anyway, I'm ultra happy with my GT sedan, previous model like yours. Same performance as incoming models, and a shedload cheaper.
I always thought that but when I had a new set of tires put on my XR6 a few months ago, I got Bob Janes to check the spare. The spare (space saver tyre) had NEVER been used and was so hard. Its a 2004 XR6 that I purchased in 2007. Amazing that I never had to use it. but they had to get a new one in as they don't usually carry tyres that size.
Wow haven't seen this guy for years.
Stunner, and still great value comparatively

I swear there’s only like 5 motoring journalists in Australia and they keep jumping between channels
5 motoring journalists..
Exactly, journalists!.
Biased and they also need money.
Don't trust them for God's sake. Money is in the air.

They did not even think about comfort steering is harder than largest suv, poor seer and steering adjustments.

big spike in demand + a global computer chip shortage... demand's way higher than any car company can supply
It'll come back to normal in a year or two, there's currently some new superconductor chip factories being built
Actually if you want one right now without wait time.uour looking at 45k
The GT for surer has my vote

The i30N is 0-100 in closer to 5 seconds as tested, with the claimed speed of 5.4 seconds. Where u got 0.3 faster I have no idea.

All new for OZ maybe, re: the Stonic and Niro
That aside, the Cerato is definitely value!

I rather the sunroof… not keen on digital dash’s.
Lol I'd rather sunroof too...

At 8:43 he informs the capacity but does not show the image of the trunk of the sedan version. It's a fail.
I also wanted to see the image of the trunk of the sedan. The CarsGuide failed even this time.
Can you please confirm if the GT actually uses the i30 N line newest SmartStream turbo engine or the older carry over turbo engine.
Carry-over engine.
@@iBlogGadget no, the GT uses turbo engine
Is it coming to the US?

Everything is stunning but the driving experience. It is one of the worst seats and steering's handling. Very uncomfortable for a driver
No spare wheel, no thank you.
