Love watching your videos but can I make a request? When you put in comment boxes in the videos can you keep the ones that are a little more wordier (if that’s a real word) up a little longer. Half of them I had to stop the video and go back. I just finally gave up and just watched the video. Just a suggestion. Love the Costco hauls!!!!
Make the font a little smaller so sentences don’t get cut off. Where is your grandfather from? That’s one that got cut off. What type of AK native is your great grandmother? Curious because I’m part AK native too.
A money saving tip on the berries 🍓 . I buy the frozen big bags from Costco, usually organic & it’s just as good & will last you a long time with no worries of spoiling. They have strawberry o, blueberry, mixed berry, I think mango as well. I didn’t know you can freeze 🥛, good to know 😊👍.
@@heatherj9029they are hard and meant for like smoothies or you can blend into a sorbet. If you thaw them, they are like any thawed fruit or veggie bags. Soft.
@@heatherj9029 They will not be a solid "fresh picked-looking" berry once thawed. However, the thawed berry produces a delicious sugary-fruit syrup. I usually take out 1/2 cup & thaw overnight to serve over a quality Greek Plain Yougurt the next dat, add unsweet almond butter, flax meal & a fresh picked mint leaf. I like it as a treat, as berries are low on the glycemic index scale for diabetics & those wanting to lose or maintain their weight on a Ketogenic or Low-Carb lifestyle.
@ketoauntie7301 I do the same thing bc usually they go bad before I can enjoy them. Besides they are picked freshed & frozen immediately. My daughter started doing this as well. Great tip
When I flew in from Texas to Anchorage I refused to drive in the snow. Took Lyft everywhere. To be fair when it rains people here don’t know how to drive. When it snows everything shuts down and it took them some time to figure out the power grid. 😂
Thank you for your videos. I think you are a really sweet down-to-earth couple. I hope you are not too bothered by negative or judgy comments. Your videos and you guys are perfect just as you are!
I'm going through a hard time too. This presidency has caused myself and my colleagues to lose our livelihoods, many have lost their homes and many have been shut out of our careers because we didn't fall for the mandates. I want it back to five years ago when the country was amazing
I saw that too lol. Here and the other stuff she put out. Shorts I think they were. Good thing these planes aren't pressurized. General aviation anyway. Minus PJs.
Salina I love watching your videos and seeing Alaska I lived there for many years but now that I’m old I live in California cause I need warm weather. ❤❤ but you do make me miss it a little bit. 😂
Thank you for this video! and all the stats! What an interesting and exciting life you have living in God's country! Not sure that I could handle the cold but the view is absolutely breathtaking!! 🥰
Wow, shopping in your village is truly a two person job! 😂! God bless you and your beautiful family!!!! Oh yeah, I would be driving 10 or 15 mph on those snow covered roads. Jared is quite the confident driver!
Hi from North CarolinaI love the history of you and your family, stories told. I guess it's true that there are more pilots in Alaska than in any other state!!!!!!!! I wish your video's are longer
Live in Upper Michigan. Snow this year almost nothing. When I was a kid, it would go to 45 below with wind chill and 12 to 24 inches of snow at a time with yearly totals 120 to 200 inches. So those snowy roads look normal to me. In fact my father owned a fleet of wreckers and I pulled duck vehicles out of snow banks.
Thank you for your video. I am planning on moving to Anchorage, AK in 2028 from TX. Will not be as remote as you but I love seeing the state and how yall survive.
You guys are so cute together. My hubby also has traditionally stuck to certain flowers but my favs are lilies. It took him many years to vary his choices once in awhile. So.sweet❤
Bless you two! Wow prices of food and shipping you’re paying so much! I know your use to it. I know you’re happy and love your life in Alaska. Love seeing how your way of life is a little different than the warmer climate.,love you both! You’re an amazing couple. Your husband is a typical male when going shopping. Just wants to get in and out. LOL. The roses were beautiful but I’m a chocolate girl. Either way we are happy!! Looking forward to the next video. Stay safe❤
With asparagus look for the skinny ones and than wash and snap the bottom off where they naturally snap and toss with olive oil s&p and roast in a 350 oven for 5-10 min depending on the crunchiness u desire. Makes them kind of sweeter and more like chips
So if you don’t fly back until tomorrow where do you sleep? Where do you go to eat? How come you can’t carry some of the groceries on your plane? Like some light weight stuff?
Your videos are always excellent to watch. Currently watching from a smallish town in England where its currently 1 in the morning and a very humbling -2°c 😂
We park that way here in Minnesota too. The more cars the worse it gets. Not a problem this year though 3 smalls storms late in winter and the snow melted quick ( in my southern Mn area further North they had more but not the normal).
❤😂Enjoyed your video! Watched some in the past. I like how you add captions, but could you leave them up longer please. You and your hubby are cute and fun!!
Do y’all keep a car in Anchorage for family to use? Is there a plane your family owns for these trips back and forth bc it seems like it’d be worth it w all the trips > the cost to ship the groceries.
I’m from Las Vegas NV and I just find your videos and learning about your village and your family so interesting! Even you telling us things like how you ship and what it costs you to live there with your groceries. I love your videos! Please don’t ever stop uploading and showing us people on “the lower 48” how cool it is to live out there! Lol btw your the first person I have heard call it the lower 48🤣
Your husband said he was ready to plan a family after eating the Nutella in the last video and in this video he said he would finish the Nutella tonight. Hahaha will we be hearing a family update soon😊
A lot of times the Costco on Dimond has a bigger variety of selections. . . And as for the parking, you park as you pls🤣. I've seen some crazy parking in the Walmart, literally in the middle of the parking aisle...lol
I think you're right that Dimond tends to have a better selection (and for those who aren't in Alaska, we really do know how to spell diamond, but one of our main roads in Anchorage is "Dimond" 😄) ..I still go over to the one on DeBarr once in a while, but I'll wait till the spring to check out the new Costco Business Center. I'm glad they made a video of it!!
I think a lot of people forget with winter parking that a flow must be made because you actually cannot see stalls. So its a follow the leader. The lead being the person who parked before you. We get the same in canada. They follow a flow because they have too. The truck sticking out was probably stuck out because another car was ahead. A flow has to be created. Unfortunately cant have it all. There are consequences for living in a wintery place. Great video though.
Hi guys juet found your channel not sure if you know you probably do but once you open a box of salad it actually doesnt last to the date on the package once air gets to it you've got about 2 days to eat it just be careful as there is a lot of bacteria that can grow in the boxes or bags its to do with how its prepared xx
Michigan girl here! Love your videos.❤ Question for Jarod!? Have you showed people's in Alaska how to play Euchre?? I've heard it's only a Michigan card game! Very fun tho.
You guys have way too much fun shopping. Although Costco is a great place to have fun while shopping. Thanks for letting us into your life. Is Greek yogurt that close to sour cream?
Love watching your videos. You mentioned the food is flown by weight cost. Is it costly for the airplane transportation to go get the food? I am assuming you keep a car where you can use it for shopping.
Yeah, I try to eat healthy too 🤣that last until I go to the grocery store hungry and everything looks good. ,,,, so sweet of y’all for picking up stuff for others
omg girl those prices lol but it looks like you and your Hubby know your stuff. My Pastor used to Live in Anchorage his name is Pastor Adam Ziegler and he has a wife Lori and 2 teenagers. They recently moved to the east coast. We are all from Pennsylvania. Do you know of them?
Love watching your videos but can I make a request? When you put in comment boxes in the videos can you keep the ones that are a little more wordier (if that’s a real word) up a little longer. Yeah they flash fast, and I read slow.
You did not say where your Grandfather is from from, or your message was too long. Love the scenery always.
Yes please that would be wonderful . 😅
I see what you mean.
Make the font a little smaller so sentences don’t get cut off. Where is your grandfather from? That’s one that got cut off. What type of AK native is your great grandmother? Curious because I’m part AK native too.
You (and your husband) are so amazing. BTW, you are beautiful!!! I love vicariously through you. A+ viewing.
Love all of the footage from the plane and the landing was cool as well!! Thanks so much for sharing!
Wow. Groceries are tough enough to afford without the freight. Ouch😮
They’d got to be tough!😢
Glad you are able to get what you need!❤❤🎉😊

I didn’t know you can freeze 🥛, good to know 😊👍.
When they come out of the freezer and yo put them on something.... Are the soggy or are the like fresh berries?
You can pick wilde blueberries up in summer and freeze it. Lots of them in Alaska :)

The best part of the video is the flower picking part. It was so stinking cute❤
I can so relate to you and shopping with your husband. My husband would change words of thingstoo😊
you guys are just the cutest newlyweds!
Thank you for your videos. I think you are a really sweet down-to-earth couple. I hope you are not too bothered by negative or judgy comments. Your videos and you guys are perfect just as you are!

Great video ❤❤❤
Jared is lying 🤥🙄about spinach 😂😅😂 Lol
I love the chicken apple sausage 😋
I stared at the large crack in the airplane windshield the whole time lol
I saw that too lol. Here and the other stuff she put out. Shorts I think they were. Good thing these planes aren't pressurized. General aviation anyway. Minus PJs.
Love all your videos just to tag along and "hang out" is chill for me you and your family have a beautiful existance there. Cherish it 🤗
Glad to hear there are some who get to live in such h a wonderful place.
❤ I'm from Maine orginally and have seen storms where two feet of snow dropped in one storm. It's awful but pretty. Love your videos.
Salina I love watching your videos and seeing Alaska I lived there for many years but now that I’m old I live in California cause I need warm weather. ❤❤ but you do make me miss it a little bit. 😂
Have a Blessed Day 🤗 ♥️
I'm from Michigan, so I look forward to driving in that beautiful white stuff🌨❄️☃️
I really enjoy your videos. I find them oddly soothing…I think part of it is your voice!❤
Thank you for this video! and all the stats! What an interesting and exciting life you have living in God's country! Not sure that I could handle the cold but the view is absolutely breathtaking!! 🥰
Great ending. I loved the song and the views!
The crack in the windshield! 😱

First ❤ I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ! thank you for sharing this with us
Would love to see how something like that snowmobile gets on that plane. Nice view of the town.
So.sweet❤
Greek yogurt can be used in baking too.😊❤
Beecher's Flagship is our family's absolute favorite cheese! You can't go wrong with it.
You’re such a natural with being in front of the camera..keep up the good work ❤
Smarty pants & vit c chewables have changed my life!! Love, love, love!!
😢hoe I miss the snow. Grew up in part of south Africa where we used to get snow. Now I have been staying in another city with dreded heat.
Pepperjack is my favorite cheese, too. 😋 And I'm from Michigan, too! Pinconning!

I use oil and salt and skillet cook them. 👍🏻
I love your cosco hauls.
Can you make a video about the heavy whipping cream- making butter, whipped cream and anything else you use it for?
So if you don’t fly back until tomorrow where do you sleep? Where do you go to eat? How come you can’t carry some of the groceries on your plane? Like some light weight stuff?
Do you have to stay at a hotel or with family when you wait the next day for air taxi?
Your videos are always excellent to watch. Currently watching from a smallish town in England where its currently 1 in the morning and a very humbling -2°c 😂
Not sure if I missed it.. how do you have a vehicle on the main land and does it stay there all the time?
We park that way here in Minnesota too. The more cars the worse it gets. Not a problem this year though 3 smalls storms late in winter and the snow melted quick ( in my southern Mn area further North they had more but not the normal).
Put some food coloring in water then place the roses in it and in about 24 hours watch them the petals will change colors on the tips.
❤😂Enjoyed your video! Watched some in the past. I like how you add captions, but could you leave them up longer please. You and your hubby are cute and fun!!

The sheet pan veggies mix is the best!!! From Costco I think that’s the one you were looking for

The new building is gorgeous! I had the pleasure of checking it out when picking up friends coming from Pedro Bay.
Great trip! Love learning about your town as well.
You and Rosie Maio are my favorite "real life/day in my life" youtubers. Thanks for showing me the Alaska you know. ❤

I love your vlogs, I'm sitting here in 33°c weather wishing for snow 😊❤🇦🇺
Love your videos...your so pretty...!!
Keep us posted...God bless..!!!
I love your videos.
I really enjoyed the flight and landing today! Stay well

Love watching your videos do more grocery haul can't wait to see your summer videos
When you asked your husband if he’d eat asparagus and he said “I mean I’ll eat one little stalk” 😭😭😭😭😂😂💀💀
And she's like just for that your pee is gonna smell for weeks now 😅 why didn't he just say potatoes??!!
How much do you guys pay completely for the air taxi thing is it more than a $100 bucks ? 🤔🤔 I'm just curious
God bless you both. Thank you for giving so much info on Alaska love the knowledge.
The sour cream in those squeeze tubes will keep for a very long time.
It really does and I don’t know why I’m the only person that eats it in my house and it never goes bad. ❤
The plane footage and music was beautiful!
You two are so cute! Love watching your vlogs!❤
Michigan girl here! Love your videos.❤ Question for Jarod!? Have you showed people's in Alaska how to play Euchre?? I've heard it's only a Michigan card game! Very fun tho.
Wow❤
Living at Gambell, St. Lawrence Island our store bought food was flown in from Nome some 190 miles away
You guys have way too much fun shopping. Although Costco is a great place to have fun while shopping. Thanks for letting us into your life. Is Greek yogurt that close to sour cream?

2:16,if you cover the area where the bananas join together with a dark plastic, tape, etc, they will last longer before they get ripe.
My 9 year old daughter loves those little peppers to snack on ❤️ hi from fort wainwright (Fairbanks) Alaska!
Your grandfather owns the Air taxi business!! So do u still have to pay for tickets and shipping?
I really like your podcasts. What does the food really cost with the transportation added to the bill!? You do a lot of work
Love your videos!! Makes me so happy to see :)
The prices are so high. When you go to the lower states, do you stock up on some non perishables that are expensive in Alaska.
Wow! Groceries are higher than here in Georgia. Even though things have gotten higher here.
Where do you stay when you visit Anchorage? Do you have family there, or do you stay in a hotel?
Hello much love from South Carolina!
I was curious how the Nutella was going! LoL
We may not get a 100 in of snow but anything over a foot? It is a pain in the butt! 😂
Oh ! Here’s a good spot! Park in the drive!
re roads- I live in North NJ- the roads seem fine. I think it depends if you live where snow comes.
At my costco they have Qunol Magnesium gummies! They've been around for a while, I'd like to hope they're at yours too, maybe soon!
Its me again....watching reruns bc I've watched all the new videos 😂
What do you do with your car when you fly back?
Your roads look like Wyoming roads in the winter.
Putting greener bananas in a paper bag will help them ripen sometimes in as short as overnights!
Are there foods sample there at Costco?
Would love to meet up for lunch sometime your In Town next 😊 yes our snow record this year is absoloutly insaine
Pepperjack is my favorite too!
You gotta love your husband, lol. He is such a "guy." I am the same way with my wife. 😊😅
I'm in Tennessee and we fry spinach and eggs. It's good
omg girl those prices lol but it looks like you and your Hubby know your stuff. My Pastor used to Live in Anchorage his name is Pastor Adam Ziegler and he has a wife Lori and 2 teenagers. They recently moved to the east coast. We are all from Pennsylvania. Do you know of them?
Salina you are adorable.
Pretty flowers
Unless you can keep the area around roses cool pick something else because they wont last.
It’s been fine❤.🎉😊
