Had to check back on this review. Lol. I'm pretty sure it helped me decide to buy this drone. I found some old Furious FPV 4 blade props I used to fly on my old micros. I put them on the Cinelog and it is much quieter and doesn't need as much throttle to hover.
I was chuckling at your Atom in your profile pic with those clunky DAL 4 blade props. I've got a bin full of those things in bags that will never get used. Can't believe we used to actually try and fly with those things. I thought it was great idea since they were almost indestructible and was such a crappy pilot. But the crappy flight characteristics of the props made me crash more which led to other things breaking on the drone.
This is a solid and powerful one, just makes quite a bit more noise than the 2s ones ahahah
Ahahahahhahah the good old times, so much stuff broken not only because we sucked but also because the gear did, ahahahah remember crashing on the antenna and having 20m of range, failsafing everywhere!
Now it's so easy to start and most of the stuff out there is decent
@@Rimzler OMG! Bad FCs that would spazz out. ESCs going in and out of sync... Or could have been the cold solder joints I had lumped on the motor wires.
So many things to go wrong and never enough answers. I've quit this hobby more than 2 or 3 times. Which is crazy since it's not that old. Money is always the bottom line for that decision. Then I save and wait until the tech is what we always dreamed it to could be. The time is now.

What’s you opinion about using the Cinelog 20 for real state? Specially a footage starting at the shore (with some medium wind) and going inside the house, filming all the interior ? I had a Avata before he fell into the ocean.
I’m considering Cinelog 20 because i have no budget ate the mimento to buy two FPVs and i would like to use this drone in travels (sub 250) and music shows, for example.

Your reviews are the best. I new you would have ideas on how to improve it. Was wondering if 1105 5000kv motors would help shave some weight off.
Prefer wider motors instead of taller, lower cg and better torque and efficiency, maybe a little smaller motor is not a bad idea tho

Great review as always! Noise wise is very noticeable the difference with the Cinelog25? If you were to choose between the 20 and 25 with both o3 cam on it which would you pick? Thanks
It's a little quieter but worse sound, if i had to choose is though, cause the 25 is the most versatile one, but I'm full of 25 drones also with o3, but specifically for flying around urban areas the c20 is the one I'm going to use!
@@Rimzler I'm completely new to the hobby, I have a DJI FPV which I find doesn't bother karens sound wise, is the Cinelog 20 louder? Also likewise is it louder than the Cinebot 30?
@@SpartanOfLuxon Weight lis big factor to noise. Lighter weight equates to quieter. Larger propeller area for same weight also reduces noise. Smaller propellers tend to have higher pitch sounds, vs larger propellers make lower pitch notes (🎶)
Easy trick to reduce noise, is fly with smaller battery, or smaller/lighter camera (or none).
NOTE: being new, you best to use a simulator to practice. A more durable frame will stand up better to learning abuse, but will weight a bit more. Small whoops are cheeper, and because they light, will stand up to learning abuse (but meant to fly indoors, vs. outdoors with wind).

Hi, I need your help! Did you change the battery strap from when you initially unboxed it? My Cinelog20 came with a 150mm strap but it is too short for my battery, so I am trying to swap with the 200mm strap but I cannot get it in. Do I have to take the entire carbon plate off to do it!? How did you do yours?
If I use the dji controller 2 and DJI goggles will it work with the tbs nano reciever
I want the 25 V2 03 and planned to use it with the DJI goggles 2 and possibly the dji controller 2 as I could use it with the avata, also. The other option is crossfire. Also wondering if gps is necessary when 03 had GPS, also. Honestly not of fan of dji and all the damn permissions. Looking for opinions.
Amazing video! What is this "Jello" camera related term you keep mentioning?
Vibration from the quadcopter causing a wobbly effect on screen, sometimes tuning can help and or different propellers 👍

Do you suggest the geprc 4s 660mah battery for Cinelog 20 and Cinelog 25? Currently I'm using Tattu R-line 650mah and getting about 5 minutes flying time. Of course the Tattu is a 14.8 voltage lipo while the Geprc is a 15.2 LiHV high voltage. Have you noticed any significant difference with those batteries?
The Geprc battery is smaller and lighter (like 10/20g) than my other 650mah ones, including the rline, i suggest trying them, they should fly for the same amount of time even more and the drone is nimbler, probably hv battery are a bit more delicate but so far I'm impressed

My anolog geprc cinelog25 weighs 206g AUW with the runcam thumb pro-w. I would love to see your opinion on the runcam thumb pro.
The thumb pro wide is ok but in my opinion the o3 absolutely has better video

Why solder the naked GoPro cable to the drone ? It’s just plug and play between battery and naked gp ?
With the adapter they provide is plug an play, everything has its pros and cons, if you always running a naked GoPro with the soldered one you don't need to be messing with one extra wire every time

Mine has just arrived, straight out of the box it was more difficult to control than my Cinelog 25, I was hoping it would be easier to fly for real estate work, can these be hacked to give a stronger signal?
Smaller drones are harder period due to the touchy nature of the throttle. Most are rockets.
How do you program in betaflight start/ stop record button? Great flying!
This DJI radio doesn't need programming in betaflight for recording, is you are using other radios there should be a way but never tried

Cinelog20 vs Pavo Pico? Seems the pavo pico has jello issues, which I'm guessing the Cinelog20 handles a lot better as it has more stabilization built in for the camera. Debating on what to take on my Mexico trip (must be under 250g) for some footage.
Cinelog is a lot better and doesn't have jello, Pavo is super light and silent tho, if you need something like that it's amazing! I will be reviewing some very light 2 inch next week, probably without jello😉

Yes, 650mAh is about 80g and 850mAh is about 102g. You got almost 6min of flight, but a bit bulky behavior in the air. So I use o3 version with 440mAh if I need speed and agility, 650mAh almost all the time and 850mAh for smooth open air chasing videos (not cats).

With a small drone don't have many option, o3 is fine if you limit iso, naked GoPro is a little better, really wish some brand makes a bigger sensor action camera with gyro

Yes i made the o3 naked, works amazing, lighter faster and more flight time, used for a couple of jobs always great, just have to take off fast or the o3 overheats

They are different, depends what you need, the 2s ones are rougher and sometimes have jello, but very silent, in the next weeks I'm gonna review more 2 inch hope to find the best one

They both have 1305 5500kv, so if you put the same props they fly basically the same, maybe the Geprc is a little lower profile but both are super compact and no issue for gaps

anyway, thanks for the review and bigger thanks for using it with the dji rc v2.. id like to know if we can use it with 3S. i have a couple of 3S lipos hanging around without any use... it used to be for a 3S 2.5" whoop with 1303 motors as well..
Hopefully someone can help me. I decided to built my first fpv and i went for the cinelog 20 because of its size. I bought all the components based on the specs on geprc website however i chose the wrong motor kv. I bought 1303.5 3800kv instead of the 5500kv. And i want to know does kv make a significant difference? Because feel like my drone is too heavy. It feels sluggish. I have flown with 4s 550mah and 750mah and i just ordered some 660mah but so far all batteries feel too heavy for the cinelog 20. I have to use a lot of throttle to catch itself if I try a flip and sometimes at full throttle it will still touch the ground. And this is at the beginning of the flight while the battery is still fresh. So i was thinking maybe if i buy the 5500kv motors if that would make a difference in the flight characteristics of the cinelog. Please someone help with this doubt and thank you so much in advance. I'm new to fpv so i have yet to master kv's. Is there any benefit 5500kv over 3800kv?
Well yes it makes a ton of difference, kV is how many times motors spin at given voltage, your motors will not spin very fast, but be efficient at it and have torque, but on a drone that small you want faster spinning motors, so 5500 kV will make a ton of difference!
I finally got my motors from Ali Express. The correcto ones this time 😎 and boy were you right! The kv does make a world of difference. Now it actually feels lighter and I am super satisfied with my build. Thank you so much for responding to my original comment and for sharing your knowledge.
