Thanks for sharing Will, I have been following your channel for a long time. It's nice to hear you're not moving away from the air cooled 911s. I think it's a little bit funny that you sold the 991.2 basically cuz you like it too much, but I get it. You have always looked forward to the next thing and that's why I love your channel. Keep the vids coming...
I've had two 991.2s and two 992s (targa and T each gen). I think I prefer the 991.2 sound and feel, but theres nice tech features in the 992. Anyways, I'm leaving all that behind for a 964 next week! 🙂
Love our 991.2. Ours is a PDK Cab, but it’s the most livable/usable 911 I’ve ever had! I’d still sell it before my manual 997.1TT or 993. Perhaps because it does everything SO well, it feels less special (or maybe just less of an occasion) when I drive it. Love seeing your mix of cars! Most of us like them all! No reason to limit to just air-cooled.
@@RennthusiastReceiving the email from Porsche surely must have been a great way to begin your day. Congratulations!! I’ve been enjoying your recent content a lot - interesting insights and great video. Cheers from Round Rock, TX.
Nice car. I really like the black on black. Am looking forward to the review of the grey 86. Also may need to update your inventory in the description.
The 991 is definitely a great car, but comfort, head unit, exhaust note, etc are features you can get in a Lexus coupe. Yes, the 991 is arguably better looking and has the better badge, but the delta between it and “normal” cars is smaller. Anyone can slip into a 992, drive it daily, and never probe its limits. Again, great car, but the experience isn’t all that unique.
21,000. I wanted to keep it under 25,000 before I sold it. Yes, the ice green car sold at $80,000 plus fees. Definitely less than I had in it but I’m happy for the new owner.
You often mention "dont drive it too much or depreciating will be an issue" Whats your sweetspot before you sell it? 5k? 10k? Or depends on the current market
With this one I felt like I would get hurt at like 25,000 as I recall. It’s been a bit. Maybe 20,000. Either way I feel like rounded numbers of 5 to 10 cause a buyer to feel less compelled to jump on a listing. I drive most of my cars without care for mileage but when I know I’m gonna move one on I don’t like to keep adding.
1. I wanted to replace it with a similar 911 that wasn’t black/black, among other things. 2. I wanted to sell it before it hit 25,000 miles. 3. I am replacing it with a 992 Carrera T which I imagine will be a keeper.
I have never driven a 991.1. I did own a 997.2 which I believe has a similar engine as the 991.1. I felt like the motor in the 997.2 lacked character. Plenty fast but missing depth somehow. That said, I can’t give you a true comparison as I won’t weigh in on cars I haven’t driven…some will do that but I am intent on giving viewers only authentic insights based on experience. Thanks for watching!
This is probably my favorite gen of modern 911! The looks, sound and everything about it is perfect.

I’m STOKED about the 992 T
Thanks!

Beautiful 911 (love the 991.2) as well as the feeling when the turbo come online. When is the 992T arriving?
Literally got the email from Porsche that the T has begun being manufactured today. So excited.

Just found your channel. Great choice of cars sir. Do a garage tour video!
997.2 C2S owner here. Just not sure I’ll like the turbo character. Need to drive one.
I think you’d be surprised. The exhaust gives away the fact that it’s a turbo, but the car doesn’t make power like you’d expect a turbo to.
Nice car. I really like the black on black. Am looking forward to the review of the grey 86. Also may need to update your inventory in the description.
Love my 991.2 Carrera. Recently put a Cobb tune on it to increase the power. Runs great and only requires a yearly service. Nice video. Thanks. 😎
hi how often do u change oil? read in a forum every 5K mobile 1?
@@bak2mb Mobil 1 should be good for 10000 miles or once a year. I have only been averaging 6000 miles a year on my car.
Hey Will! Which experience did you like better? This or the GTS 4.0/GT4 in manual?
It has been fun watching your tastes evolve from BMW to air cooled Porsche, and now some water cooled stuff!
Dope Channel!

I think there’s definitely room for a 991 or 992 in a garage where there are also other options such as air cooled or mid engined Porsches.
Are we about to see a sale listing for this one?
Negative…it was sold awhile back.

i don't get that.

I don’t know about that Will. I don’t know if “keeper” is in your wheelhouse!
Owned 2018 C2S night blue metallic- I know exactly how you feel
Great cars but more compelling in a better color/spec
Cant wait to buy one
You should feel the rev matching on a 992 GT3!
I’m Sure
This is one fine car, hope the replacement will equal or surpass it. How can this 911 model be fake? Plenty of luxury.
This or a 911 T. I'll take it!
What are your thoughts between 991.1 and 991.2? I'm leaving 991.1 manual 2015-2016.

BUY THE T !!! Instead of a new one , what about a 991.2 T?
I just couldn’t pass up the allocation. Too much of an opportunity.
Ive got a '18 991.2 911T with a very special Spec - it is AMAZING , Im sure the 992 T is too, but Im very biased @@Rennthusiast :)
Looks like she can get out of her way.
Go buy one if you want to get ripped off, stick overpriced cars.
