I love the suggestions that you gave (especially the Hirsholm and Dove's Bay), but I've had my eye on Burgos by Rosa Pomar for awhile now. @@brookwillow there was one in a knitting magazine years ago that caught my eye. I would need to find it, lol,amongst my magazines and books. I want an easy, open front, long and cozy vest. The yarn was a wool-ease Lion Brand yarn. With more experience under my belt I could use a woolier yarn.

I was already excited for this MAL but these suggestions and the prize just made it even better! Wow. I def need to dive into my stash and see if I have anything already on hand for another vest. Such great pics! Also that prize! Omg! I’m excited! I’m planning on knitting Gan by Ailbíona McLochlainn with knitpicks Simply Alpaca in Alfie Twist. I had some skeins in my stash and it wasn’t enough to do anything with. But I got some more and I think this will be a really nice transitional piece for fake summer and just kidding winter when the weather goes from 70 then down to 30 the next day. Can’t wait to see how your makes come along!! ❤❤
Ohhhh I just went down an Ailbiona pattern deep dive yesterday and this one is SO cute I wish I added it to the list! I am very family with what we call “fools spring” 😂 so a vest will be just perfect for the transitional season!

I’ve been wanting to make a slipover/vest for layering too! I don’t have one so I think I would like to participate in this mal. I’m going to try and finish my Port Sweater before I start it! One of the things I enjoy doing is searching for a pattern and planning the yarn for it 😆 sometimes it can take hours and days. I've been wanting to make the Holmen Slipover by Tonje Hodne for awhile so I'll be making that! I really want to make it in an electric blue but haven't been able to find the right shade of yarn that would get gauge. That Texture Vest looks so great, it reminds me a little of the Cameo vest by Orlane Sucche. The Women's Everyday Waistcoat makes me wish I could sew!! Excited for the make along :)
Ooh I looked that vest up and it’s beautiful! Knitpicks has an electric blue in their swish dk (I know because I actually have two in stash) that would probably work great for this!

I am just finishing my second Stockholm Slipover (v neck). Very satisfying pattern.
