    This sounds like a buy here pay here pitch. I understand psychology but leading with a “payoff early” pitch and ending with a “96 or 84mo” pitch is stupid. Run that by a person who can critically think and you will get a million objections. I appreciate the hustle but you missed it here.

    • @Criminaljustice79
      @Criminaljustice79 3 місяці тому +1

      Most sales people can’t even put together a basic response to overcome this objection. That’s the point of Andy’s training. Master the basics then Learn more advance responses.

      @@Criminaljustice79 I agree that most people don’t have the ability to answer common objections. I’m not knocking the hustle. I like a ton of his stuff and have been following him since before he got popular. My point is training a word track about paying it off early and then immediately transitioning to the longest payment possible doesn’t make sense. You lose respect from a client that has a credit score above 600. Sales isn’t just saying anything and glossing over objections. That was my only point. He’s crushing it and I love his lifestyle choices and motivation as well!

    I get the feeling that every time Andy tells the story of how many cars he sold a month, it goes up by 20. Eventually he'll be telling people he sold 2,000 cars a month and made $40,000,000 a year. He's completely full of it.

    Look at the car market right now... with how competitive it is the best OTD price is going to sell the cars... consumers are fed up with high prices/payments coupled with salesmen playing mental gymnastics & pushing sleazy hard sales tactics violating ftc car rules lying all the time. The gig is up, the pandemic is over... stock is up, sales are down, layoffs have started, repo men are busier than ever & consumers want the best OTD price 7 - 10% off MSRP w/ no add ons

  • @misterr4221
    @misterr4221 Місяць тому

    I can appreciate what these comments are saying (a lot of them are just dumb people coping and complaining) but the reality is these people want a car, and it’s $800/mo, but they want this car, which is $800/month. Keep in mind your job is to help people and solve their problems.
    At that point, what can you do to be an effective salesman and close them on the monthly payment where it stands? The answer is to do what Andy did.
    Otherwise, not only will you not do your job but you’ll also end their experience on a sour note, you won’t get them anywhere closer to getting the vehicle they want, and they will be forced to continue shopping only to come back to an $800/mo payment whenever they finally pull the trigger.
    Should you try to get them into something they DO NOT want? Consumers hate that! Should you play a small violin for them while you break “the bad news”? What else is there to do besides serve these people in front of you, justify the $800/mo and let them buy the car that they want.

    Right now, foreclosures are at an all time high, car repos are at an all time high, inflation is making people put groceries on credit cards.
    To a super lucky, super rich guy like Andy, $1000 per month "isn't shit". To most people, that's completely unaffordable.
    It's sad to see someone God blessed with great health and so much money, look down on, with such disdain, of anyone who is not as lucky as he is. Very sad.

  • @nautica00

    But if the payment is for the same amount of months, it doesn’t. And where do you go when they say that? 72 months is 72 months, if the want 550 and you show them 800, they might do it but most will argue. If the car is more expensive or their credit sucks, a higher payment doesn’t mean it gets done quicker, it’s just the math. You lie to that customer and they won’t come back when they go home and think about what they signed. Ask the right questions, show the right car.

    Not sure who he’s selling to, but this particular one was a total joke. Anybody that buys cars has an idea of what they’re going to pay, for how long and stick to that. Only desperate people will fall for this. When I was young and had NO money I was only hoping to be approved and would take a deal like this. Not to mention the fact that the hot girl dangling her shoe on her feet and texting was so distracting. Most real sales managers is asking for total attention and demand for people to stay off their phone.
