That is 1 friggin’ song that never got the overall credit it so badly deserved! Everything about that song is just perfect imo! And just absolutely love the lyrics!

Thanks Jessica, Scott Weiland's talents are incredible and very underrated, in my opinion he's as good as the greatest frontmen out in music rock history. Jim Morrison, Axl Rose, Robert Plant, Bono, Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain etc....
I was just thinking about this and whilst I was a huge Layne Staley fan for decades. And while I think he had better pipes Weiland was the best frontman ever.
The Purple tour was my first concert ever. I will always love STP my favorite band of all time. Hearing Weiland sound check with meatplow was awesome.

God, I remember when this CD came out. Very highly anticipated, considering how well Core did, and putting STP on the map. I couldn't stop listening to it! Front to back, this was a very good CD. Some of these songs are very underrated. I didn't know they had played them all live. Kitchenware and Candybars is probably my favorite off this CD!! And yes, Scott was the ultimate front man! Had the pleasure seeing them live a few times! RIP Scott Weiland
Yeah the album blew me away! I remember buying it at target. Worked 2 extra shift to afford it, skateboarded to Target, and then listened to it for about 6 months straight.
So hard to find the great Stone Temple Pilots concerts on UA-cam. This is one of them

Yeah, loved it when he did that at shows! One in particular was during Trippin’ On A Hole at the Rolling Rock show in Latrobe, PA in 2001! Any1 not know what I’m talking about or hadn’t seen it... go check it out. He’s just flat out awesome thruout that show... espcly during the homestretch of it thru the last 5 songs of that set! Absolutely at his best!

I was lucky to see that tour. I was at the New Haven show that just came out on the Deluxe reissue. Super psyched it finally saw the light of day.

Jesus, I mean really?!! Someone on here actually said Axl when giving an answer of whose a better frontman for a rock group. Weiland thruout his prime yrs just couldn’t be touched! I mean, the man (during every single time I watched em live) would never stop moving around, dancing, working it with the crowd etc. I absolutely loved him as a frontman! How badly he is missed too! Just can’t bring myself to still follow STP as much as I did during the Weiland yrs!

This is awesome thanks for creating this! My favorite Album of all time! Love it so much I have the Album, Cassette and 3 cds. I wonder if they ever performed 12 Gracious Melodies live. haha
Would have been cool if they did, but I doubt it. They didn't do it the few times I saw them live, even back when this album came out. Probably tough to get the guy who sang it out on the road.

The second album
UGGHHHH!! They were truly one of the GREATEST bands of all time! Actually gave Led Zeppelin (for what they did in their time, the 70's) a run for their money, in my opinion.

I can almost smell the show
going through this, it's easy to see that scott's path was downward. that show from august of '08 showed a very different guy than the one i saw in june of that year, in tucson.
never loved that stp chicago show from '10...and now i can see why.
looked like he'd gained weight and was trying to clean up...but even with that weight gain, he looked really bad.
such a shame.
I’m in love with STP Still after all these years wish I could say the same of my wife, but whatever, no it’s like ya know how Scott would walk up to Robert and Smack!!! My Italian Friend Fabrizio (lol whata Name) Fabrizio planted the bomb that blew up Michael Corleones pregnant wife in the God father, anyway he does that shit when I don’t see him for a while, but this band has given me so much with their songs I never grow tired of them , Scott why did you have to go definitely a case of the star that burns too brightly burns out before long 😭

Wow I loved this record back in the day. I wore the t shirt until it fell apart. I wanted them to come to my city so desperately. But I don’t get the same joy out of it anymore. This is all so bleak and boring. RIP Scott. Mate, I would’ve enjoyed this once.
