Thank you for sharing your story. Covert narcissists are dangerous! My husband and I have dealt with one for the past 3 years. It’s a woman figure who is well known in our community and she has everyone believing she is such a giver and great friend. She actually steals time and resources from others all the time and uses people including her own kids and family ALL THE TIME. She constantly talks about others behind their back and will tell your business left and right.
Agree. It is childish behaviour, of mood swings and going hot and cold on you. It feels like you are back at school. At the start they come across as normal but the mask slips and you see the ugly side , the discarding, like you never existed
Yes. Why is it like that, if you are in a narcissitic relationship you became accustomized of making everybody else satisfied. You feel guikty easily, you always say sorry, you fear many things that a person will think about you. They are so attracted to us because we are naturally kind and strong..
It makes perfect sense, empaths attract narcissists, whether it's spouses, friends, bosses, etc.... my ex-husband was a narcissist, and I had attracted about 3 long-time narcissistic friends, whom I had to let go of, once I finally realized that those relationships were very toxic. Both of them weren't so easy to get rid of, but I finally got rid of them. I had to threaten to call the cops on one, and actually call the cops on another....but I was finally free of them. I had to use what time and energy I had to focus on the terribly narcissistic husband that I was living with. I had finally got rid of his abusive, narcissistic family who would use mafia-style tactics to harass me and threaten me. They are an occult family. I used plenty of spiritual warfare as well, in Jesus's name.
Its the codependent tendency that attracts narcissists, seeing as they are the people who want to be served. Average people who have a tendency to please other people are unfortunately the other side of that codependent coin ❤
