James...watching you for several years has changed my skin! It's so clear, so smooth, so hydrated. Just wanted to say THANK YOU 😊 i never comment, but i need you to know how much i appreciate what you do for us! 💐💐💐
I must admit, I get a little fussy at times and sometimes think maybe he’s just pushing a trend, but I realized I’m just picking up on the fact that he is professionally trained as a social media presenter, so he just delivers more like a pro who would be doing an advert. And every time I try something he recommends, other than glow recipe, which just doesn’t work for me, I eventually get on board. 😂 my prequel collection is growing, I’m trying more & more budget Korean skincare (kinda went nuts on yes style when true curling mascara appeared for under $8 lol, stayed right at $50 even tho I got a holiday sized haul), and I’m so happy with my skin. Other than when I wreck it trying out the occasional dud in k-beauty skincare. Best of all, I’ve discovered a very happy place with my skin. I’m 53, all natural & really feel good about my face most of the time. I don’t look any younger but my big wrinkles are plumper, and I look much healthier & more active (I do faux burn lol but I’m truly outdoorsy, just very spf conscious). I look like a version of me that feels honest and authentic but with enough aesthetic help to feel just slightly “filtered.” These welsh boys have been a huge part of that, their commitment to intellectual rigor, logic, positive mental health, and when together, unbridled silliness is one of the best aspects of UA-cam.
Same! I've been watching for years and learned so much about products, how to use them and new brands to try that I have loved! I am acne prone and was using a lot of the typical Western products that were drying and harsh on my skin, and not really working anyway. James's approach to acne prone skincare has changed my skin for the better! Now I am all about hydration, heeling and gentle products.

I‘m not a big buyer, quite minimalistic: only cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen plus vitamin C.
But i‘ve already noticed that James and i seem to have the same needs. Usually, toner is called an unnecessary product, but James is known for going for the hydrated look, and it works so well for me, too. I just happened to use a toner right now, and my skin has been glowing since then. 🤩

Can you compare it to retinol/vitamin c or other products? Or is it more like a "treatment" that one would use monthly?

@@missxteen idk about the commenters personal experience but if you look up VT reedle shot calender, there are photos by the company which shows how often you should use the reedle shot depending to its strength (the number on it, for ex 300,100). if you have sensitive skin though you should be extra cautious with the VT shot (from what ive heard)
@@missxteenI have dry skin and with the VT reedle shot 100 it was love at first use: it brightens the skin, refines and smoothes pores, calms redness ... it's a gem! 100 every night, 300 every 3 nights and 700 (it's a bit strong for me) once a week. It literally makes me stop using retinol because this line is 10 times more effective than retinol, without making my skin sensitive! Be sure to use calming sheet masks and lot of humectants, glass skin garanted !

Hi James I love the Rom&nd cushion foundation. It’s a great foundation for hot Florida summers. It gives my skin a nice glow. Because of you I’m taking much better care of my 73 year old skin. Your videos and advice are so helpful. ♥️☮️🖤

About reedle shot controversy, they are 15 micrometers needles, even if you have a thin stratum corneum, 10 micrometers, and those needles get extremely pushed inside the skin, they can barely make into stratum spinosum, so they will shed, for them to stay into the skin they would need to get past the stratum basale, so they dont get pushed by the cells turnover.

@@genshinF2Playok.. but even with mere knowledge about skin layers and the probability of it being pushed more than 30 micrometers into the skin, when people cant even push the whole needle in.. the most of them stay poking on the surface.. we dont even have a way to really push the needles fully in. I believe we are more than safe we have more than 40 micrometers until get into stratum basale. Im using medium thickness measurements for face skin.
I wish there would be a documentary or “reactions” to the Twins & their incredible quality of content, optimal use of controlled parasocialty (building us up but not sacrificing boundaries), positive mental & cognitive health milieu, & absolutely awesome friend/family dynamics. Everything bad about social media is absent from their content and, to me, they should be the gold standard for ethics, quality, & usefulness of content, and people should see what level of good is possible. They are like Mr Rogers level good humans, I think, but for adults (since their demo is people with skin, I guess that’s everybody lol!). Thank you to the whole team ❤

If you're in Canada, the Spectro cleanser for dry skin is a really good non foaming glycerin-based cleanser for really sensitive skin!!

I LOVE the VT Reedle Shot. I do 300 3 times a week and 700 once a week. Baby smooth skin, zero irritation, much less redness! (I have sensitive, rosacea prone skin). It’s tingly, but I doesn’t hurt…WAY more comfortable than even a light glycolic acid peel
I'm currently living in Seoul and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the VT reedle shots anywhere, they are always sold out 😭

I am about 2 weeks into the reedle shot 300, the redness on my cheeks seems to have reduced and it for sure seems like it’s made my other products a bit more effective! Excited to see long term effects for sure!

I am also trying the VT 100. It did improve my skin. I am 5-6 weeks in. Same for me. I feel the reedles. It is not painful. I do feel them sometimes during a few hours. At last Stylevana also carries their PDRN. Or something like that. I heard some good things about this and hoe about some exosome technology? Kind Regards. Hope heartburn is better

I've just started the new daily reedle 50 but every alternate night (with retinol that is also every 2nd night).
Holy moly, even at this low dose I can feel it working!
I loooove the bringgreen face cleanser! Been using it for more than 3 years, I cannot use any others, it leaves skin the softest but still makes you feel really thoroughly cleaned. I’m so glad to see my favourite from you!

The innisfree retinol cica repair ampoule is AMAAZINGG. I have eczema and it has never irritated my skin and helps a lot with acne. I dont know how much retinol is in it or anything but I can see a difference whenever i use it consistently.
Holika holika's good cera moisturizer in the tube is also a great very light weight cream. Its great for the summer or if you need some extra moisture throughout the day.

I'm using the Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum with Rice & Alpha Arbutin. It keeps my dry skin moisturized for 24 hours. I love it.

I absolutely love the BOJ rice toner the brand recently released. It leaves my skin hydrated and glowy without that overly shiny look that can make my oily skin look too TF much when prowling the streets 😂 I also like Bringreen’s tea tree cleanser for a deep cleanse after a sweaty day. I like how large and affordable Bringgreen products are.
Coincidentally, I was also looking for a new cleansing water the same time as you. I've been eyeing Bringreen's massive and affordable tea tree cleansing water. I hope you can review it one day.
Thank you also for recommending Purito’s new Wonder Releaf toner. It’s works beautifully and the texture is absolute perfection, in my opinion. I hate really watery toners that slide down my arms even though I have very oily skin and live in a humid climate.

Hey thank you so much!! Honestly with hand wash I just use anything haha but then on slightly damp hands I would apply any hand cream with urea!!!
James, with the VT reedle have you tied it with any stronger actives. I used it for a few weeks, and I see benefits BUT I was so scared to use it with even a Vit C product. I skipped my retinoids for those 2 weeks as well. I’m just not clear on what to use it with versus not. lol

The reedle shot serum will be a winter time product for me! I’ve tested it this spring, summer and as a sweaty guy, It’s so weird to feel the tingles drip with the sweat lol

Been using the cleanser and this is very familiar to the stripping it dosent super dry me out does leave it a little dry patches around my eyes but hinestly its worth it for my super oily skin and i just add some moisutre and it works out well
JAMES! I bought the EQQUALBERRY Swimming Pool Ampoule recently because I noticed it has several calming ingredients in it. I was hoping it would replace some other calming products so that I could simplify down to one product. It arrived today and I used it tonight (along with DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB Wine Lift PHA Gauze Peeling Pads and Torriden Dive-in Hyaluronic Acid Skin Hydrating Booster which I have used before but took a break from and wanted to try again) and my skin looks AMAZING a few hours afters after use. My husband commented that my skin was glowing and it feels so plump and happy. My redness is significantly reduced so my skintone looks more even and my active and inactive spots are calmer looking too. I am in love! 😍
I’m currently using the cosnori needle shot serum which is 675,000 shots which is currently the highest one on the market. There’s a learning curve to it but I really like it compared to traditional micro needling which I can only do every 6 weeks. Granted I don’t have a break out at that time. With these serums you can do it a few times a week and you don’t have to worry about an infection or serious damage to the skin. It’s been a game changer for my PIE.
I just ordered the romand cushion foundation a few days ago, and I'm really hoping I picked the right color! lol my face is like all freckles, but my base skin color is really light so I always struggle with not making my freckles look ashy

A little goes a very long way and start on the lowest strength one. I now use the 700 level 1x per week and the 100 2x per week. Skin looks way better than it has for years!

Hi James, did you try Sensum Mare products? I used their mist/tonic called Algotonic as a first step of a skin care routine after cleansing for a few years to combat that dehydration feeling after cleansing and whenever I don’t use it I have a feeling that something was missing in my routine. Recently I thought that I might to try their other products and found that their face cleanser Algopure is very delicate and leaves the skin hydrated after use, which didn’t usually happen for my skin. I also liked their ceramide serum, it is on the creamy side and I sometimes use it solo under the sunscreen when I don’t want to put too much on my skin.

I received and tried this new face mask from BOJ yesterday. My face was already exfoliated from other products so I can't tell if it has done a sort of exfoliation but it was indeed very moisturizing, very cooling and it calmed my skin from redness for a little while. It felt like it took off my sebum and replaced it with moisture which is nice so do not expect it to be drying or to work like a regular clay or kaolin clay mask because it ain't that.

I literally started using Reedle Shot 100 two nights ago and the change in my pores (refinement) is phenomenal. I’m a research scientist and tend to be cynical in terms of company claims and expectations regarding results……but 🤯
I have oily skin and the pores on my nose and upper cheeks were enlarged. I’ve been trying for months to refine them and nothing has really worked until now.
The spicules don’t bother me over my forehead, nose, chin or lower cheeks but for some reason they hurt when applied over my upper cheeks. After the refinement of my pores, I’m more than willing to put up with the discomfort 😂

Have not seen anything that addresses crepey skin in the face. What is your "go to" weapon for crepey skin?
I don't know if you've already covered it but if not, would you look into Typology? They have a bunch of serums as well as a makeup line.
