I forgot to update on the sunscreen! With re application, I was nicely matte to the touch, not greasy or oily throughout the day. However if you are after matte looking skin, this doesn’t do that. Just nice moisturised looking skin
This sunscreen is awesome for my skin, I have really oily skin, and yeah, it's not matifying but it prevents oil from coming through. But unfortunately it's almost 50 euros where I live and that's a bit too much for me. 😮💨
I really prefer the other La Roche Pose sunscreen, the ones in the rectangular weird case. More lightweight and not oily at all. They are chemical sunscreen, but as good as the Korean ones
That Hello clean…I don’t know. I really prefer more acidic cleansers. And I could see that this one has a ph of 6. A little more basic that our 5.5 skin. As I have cystic acne prone skin in my back (even at 51 yo) and I sweat a lot, I really look for less than ph5 ( 4 or 3.5) bath gels. Those are the ones that really get along with my skin and are not drying, even with, supposedly, heavy surfactants in them.
I think I'm getting old but it softly infuriates me when all these girls on TikTok use a face product under ring lights and say that it makes them "glow". You 100% know that in real life that's not just a glow, you just look like you're greasy as hell. Nothing wrong with oily skin but let's not misrepresent the blown out ring light version of the oil slick lol
I can’t stand when people put on wet products like serums or moisturizers and say “wow look at that glow!” Like wth are they expecting from a literal wet product?
The la roche posay antihelios melt in milk is phenomenal tho. I work outdoors, sweat like I'm getting paid for it, and am very acne prone and that stuff is the best out there. It doesn't look like there's nothing on my face, but it makes me look reasonably moisturized instead of total greaseball. No nasty sunscreen taste or eye stinging as sweat is dripping down my face, doesnt make my acne worse. Also I know it says water resistant not water proof but holy crap it help up for hours at the beach. I was stupid and forgot to sunscreen my legs (or reapply at all ) and got a sumburn that blistered up and peeled. My top half was completely fine. If you hate sunscreen and you're out in extreme sun and humidity try it.
@@vanessaladescarada165it's okay. I work outdoors with dogs and am very pale. It leaves white streaks where your skin folds like under he eyes and in the inside of my elbow. Sometimes it can be drying on my face and leave little flakes. I used to wear the LrP mineral Shaka fluid one, but ever since using shiseido in the blue bottle I haven't gone back
With antiperspirants, applying the night before is ideal. It gives the aluminium a chance to get to your sweat glands because while you sleep, you don't sweat much. Applying when you're going to be awake and sweating prevents the aluminium being able to do its thing.
I had the gruum package and used the charcoal bar on my face and found it drying but I do have back acne and it works a treat for that really reduces it down.
I totally agree on the La Roche Posay sunscreen. It's nice but it leaves my skin dewy and not matte at all. But their UV filters are amazing, that's why I stick to it in the summer (the shaker fluid is nice too), but Eucerin Oil Control will always be my favorite.
If you shine you used too much OIL-CONTROL TECHNOLOGY Airlicium™: opacifying micro-particles to immediately absorb excess sebum, thus helping to regulate the agents responsible for shine (sebum, sweat, humidity), to reduce the shiny appearance of the skin day after day. AMOUNT A quantity of product the size of a pearl for each area WHEN WHEN Apply sunscreen immediately before sun exposure. Reapply frequently and generously to maintain protection, especially after swimming, sweating or toweling off. Overexposure to the sun is dangerous.
I know some people don't like cerve but I've been using their cleansing balm for over a year now and it works perfectly fine. I don't find it to be too stripping and has 0 plastic waste.
I bought the Vichy moisturiser and was enjoying it for a few weeks, but I just purchased the Kaine Vegan Collagen Youth Cream (full of hyaluronic acid) and realised exactly why i prefer Korean products, so much nicer and gives more of a glow than the Vichy one! feels amazing on the skin and hydrating.
I love the La Roche Posay ANTI SHINE SPF as EVERY single sunscreen makes me super oily, and that one doesn't. It's matte and isn't shiny at all. This is a new one that I've not seen in Australia yet.
@@xojasberry90 I haven't seen the L'Oréal. It's hard here as our spf approval is one of the highest in the world, so we don't get a lot of products. And re La Roche Posay spf, I'm gonna be annoyed at the reformulated version as it's looks SO shiny on James and I loved the one I have now as I'm super oily and it's the only spf I've ever found that works for me. Period. Everything else makes me super greasy. So I'm gonna hate this new one if it replaces the anti shine.
My mom uses the Vichy cream. Her skin is very sensitive and Vichy products are one of the few that don't cause irritation. I definitely want to try the nose pore patch because visible pores on my nose is something I struggle with.
I absolutely love your videos. I’ve gotten so many of your recommendations and I absolutely love all of them! Haven’t even finished the video but I know Ill love it! 💗
The LaRoche Posay sunscreen is my holy grail for the warmer months and it works amazing under makeup and never pills with my other skincare. Love it so much!😊
I’m a very sweaty person due to dysautonomia/pots issues and Lume made me sweat even more. I normally use one my PCP suggested, and I figured since this was being advertised by someone who struggles with similar issues, I would try it to see how well it works. I wore it while I was teaching yoga, and everywhere I had any Lume on, was drenched.
if you don't mind me asking, have you found one that actually works? i have hyperhidrosis and i've tried just about everything, prescription and otherwise and have all but given up and wear only black now lol.
@@skrittle555 Yeah! So just to clarify- I used the Lime Whole Body Deodorant invisible cream. It did at least smell nice and the scent did absorb a high amount of oder. Obviously everyone is different, but my PCP suggested Mitchum Deodorant. It overall works the best, but I think that unless my sweat glands are removed I will always sweat. -Layering a very light, but a lightly tight tank top that reaches your armpits can help. You may need to see a specialist if trying multiple things without any improvement. Sending you the best of luck!
For anyone who wants to try going low or 'zero' waste in terms of skincare there are a few things to be aware of: 1: A lot of so called 'zero' or 'low' waste products contain natural ingredients. Don't assume natural means automatically safe, as these ingredients can still cause things like skin allergies and reactions. See if a company has testers or samples available and try them first before you dive in and waste your money on a full sized jar of product you can't use. 2: Lots of so called 'natural' products contain little to no preservatives. This means they have to be used up within a certain amount of time, so it's no use buying umpteen dozen different products to try at once. They will go off before you can get through them all, so buy only what you're actually going to use. 3: Be aware of what can and can't be recycled in your area. It's all well and good to order a product online that claims to be 100% recyclable packaging, but that means nought if that particularly packaging can't actually be recycled where you live. 4: Consider the effects of transporting a zero waste product. It kind of defeats the purpose of trying to go low, or zero waste if you then load that product onto a plane and fly it over to you, and then have yet more carbon footprint making delivery trucks drive the product to your front door. Some places, like Etsy, are starting to offer carbon offset delivery, but in some ways you might really just be better off travelling to your local shops and buying skincare products there.
Thank youuu!! It sounds all kitchy and buzzwordy, BUT! You absolutely nailed it! You will basically, not not basically, you will be spreading spoiled moldy products all over your face! And body! Preservatives are there for a reason. It's called our actual health and safety. Excellent job bringing up the mass transit to get these "good for the environment" products to people lol! Yeahhhh hello lol! Kudos to you for seeing the truth of the greenwashing propaganda
@@eveningstar8581 I actually do use so called 'natural' skincare in the form of recreated vintage Edwardian and Victorian skincare products; I just don't assume that using the products automatically gives me bonus points in terms of being environmentally friendly. I use the products because I genuinely like how they feel on my skin, not because of a bunch of marketing buzzwords like 'clean' and 'natural'. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with using 'natural' skincare, so long as people are fully aware of what that means, eg: that you absolutely cannot stock up on these products, you only buy as much as you know you're going to use in a certain time frame, and if you want to be more environmentally conscious then you have to factor in things like packaging and transport as well. Being a more conscious and aware consumer can be a good thing, but getting sucked into phony feel good marketing buzz terms is not.
Flying it over isn’t the issue, people are flying on planes daily, the plane was going to deliver products either way telling a few people to be aware of buy zero waste products because they have to be sent to you isn’t going to solve anything. The thing to look out for is how that company is dealing with the pollution making products on a large scale creates and holding them accountable for their claims. We are always going to leave a foot print, but we can aim for a few prints vs a whole trail.
Carpe has done wonders for me. No anti perspirant has ever walked on me and I swear a lot. The first day I used this and went a whole work day without sweating at all I was so impressed. I’ll never buy another deodorant ever again!
I mix the Anthelios oil control with the tinted SPF 50 to even my complexion and remove some of the shine because otherwise I end up looking really greasy with just the tint. The 2 mixed just look glowy and it's my 'everyday' base for summer, in winter I use the Hyalu B5 gel for hydration. I bulk buy them all on Black Friday and during sales because I know I'll use them. I recommend them to anyone who listens ✨
I also have little bumps on arms and legs, especially during summer - and I use Ordinary 7% glycolic acid. Works perfect for me - skin is clean, no bumps or akne
@keeperofthe7keys1987 in winter, because no heat and sweating, I can see results in one week of every day use. And then I do a pause. But in summer - it takes longer to see results. I'm using it every 2 days . After using a public transport in 30+ heat , my back is giving me lots of red small bumps as a present 😆
I love that body wash! I have hard water and it actually helps my skin feel so much softer and less irritated. Plus I'm sensitive to heavy fragrance and this has a very mild scent that's slightly earthy
@@semjart If your dry skin is caused by hard water, then yes. If it's caused by something else, I don't think you NEED this. For me, this body wash helps because my hard water makes my eczema worse. Also, I will say, I'm in the US and shipping always takes a few weeks for this body wash
I tried the carpe face under makeup for a hot august wedding. It did NOT hold up in fact it broke down my makeup worse! I’m not surprised it doesn’t work in the underarms 😢
LRP UVmune 400 fluid No parfum is one of the only sunscreens that doesn’t make my melasma any darker or worse. The filters and UVA protection is one of the best I’ve been able to get my hands on in the US. ❤ For me-the sunscreens that make me look oily I MUST use a blow dryer after application on cool shot and it mattifies and dries it down very nicely
for people curious about the Hello Klean body wash, I've tried it (am using it now). In a nutshell: I love it and it works well for people with compromised skin and actual hard water. I moved to a city with water 2-3 times as hard as where used to live a couple of months ago. I have eczema and dry skin. Usually my skin is pretty balanced because I take good care of it, but the water here has ruined my skin. I got way more eczema flare ups and had to get a special cream for the ithing. Even a 5 minute shower makes my whole skin feel tight and ithy. I've been using the wash for about 2 weeks now and I noticed an immideate difference. I use it last in the shower, rub it in on my whole body with the water off and then quickly rinse my body (so not standing under the water for another 5 minutes). My skin is considerably less dry and itchy when I get out off the shower and my body acne has improved as well!
I'm not particularly fond of DIY skincare, but I've got psoriasis lesions half a foot in diameter, just raw and opened skin. I'm desperate, and cannot tolerate the itching and burning especially during/after showering. What ingredients have you found are helpful for soothing the irritation?
@alabama.worley i want to start by saying that I have eczema, so I can't give specific advice for psoriasis as they are different conditions and with psoriasis there is also a buildup of skin cells (the plaques) which isnt the case for eczema. if it's full on opened skin (as in possibly bleeding), I'm not sure as that is more like a wound and you would probably be better of getting it checked out by a doctor to get a special cream that is okay to use on opened skin. But generally, how I treat a wound is to use an appropriate cream and then bandage it and change it once a day (I did this with burns). I know a lot of people use steroid creams, which do help with intense itching (common with eczema), but when used long term, it can be very damaging as it can thin the skin and you can become depended on it which can cause even worse reactions. So honestly, even if the doctor prescribes this to you, I would be very careful in only using it temporarily to help with the worst of it and then switch to barrier repairing creams. I personally got a cream recommended from the pharmacy with no steroids that did wonders for my eczema when my usual products didn't work. I used it 2x a day for a week when the itching was so bad that I couldn't sleep and the itching was immediately lessened.. It was the Ducray Dexyane Med soothing repair cream eczema treatment. I know they also have a cream specifically for psoriasis that is also supposed to help with the dry 'plaques', but I don't have experience with that. I don't know if they sell this brand all over the world, but it might be worth looking into. But just in general, you need to be very gentle. These skin conditions are basically compromised and damaged skin barriers. I would look into skin barrier repair products. Apart from the ducray cream (which I only use when my eczema itches), I've been using the La Roche Posay lipikar AP+m body cream for years. It's sadly tested on animals, but I haven't found anything else that works as well to moisturise and protect my skin without having to apply it multiple times a day (like I had to do with other products). I think especially for you as psoriasis causes skin cell build up, you might want to look into gentle exfoliating products suited for that condition (so not just any old products please). Because hard water can cause a waxy (soap scum) buildup on the skin that can worsen skin conditions. But I want to express that I am not a dermatologist or doctor.
@alabama.worley and specifically for hard water and calcium deposits, the most common ingredient is EDTA. But a natural alternative is apple cider vinegar. But sometimes other clarifying ingredients can work too like chemical exfoliants or sls. But these I only use once in a while. But again, do some research to see how these ingredients bode for psoriasis. Some skin healing and repairing ingredients that I have loved are shea butter, niacinamide, tamanu oil, urea and ceramides. I personally don't love using vaseline (or product with a high amount of paraffinum liquidum) on their own. I only tend to use it on top of other creams and treatment to create a barrier. But again, I only have experience with treating my eczema
@alabama.worley and lastly (sorry for the many messages) a shower filter might help. I recently bought one from hello klean as well. I wasn't sure if it was helping until I moved again last month to a place with even worse water. I didn't use the filter for a week and only the shower wash as they needed to repair a part of the shower before I could install the filter. And I can't tell you how horribly my skin was itching. Even just from one day of not using the filter anymore. When I installed it again I felt relief instantly and after a week my skin was alright again. You don't have to buy the Hello Klean one but I do recommend to use the shower wash in combination with a filter as shower filters help with a lot or mineral deposits, but only minimally with calcium (you'd need a full water softener system for your whole house). So that's what the shower wash is specifically for as chelating ingredients do help with the calcium deposits.
Ohh that Vichy moisturiser!! It's been on my wishlist for so long, seen that it's only £16.50 on the Boots website with an advantage card 😱 am obsessed with your nail colour btw, it's beaute
That sun cream is the best!! Every sun cream I’m allergic to apart from this one! It has no white cast, and if you put a little translucent powder over top it’s not shiny x
I have hyperhidrosis, basically I sweat wayyyy more than people who sweat heavily. Carpe didn't do anything at all. I didn't get relief until I got prescribed medication. Other people in the hyperhidrosis community have had the same experience as me with Carpe not working at all.
I tried the carp antiperspirant but the hand cream and it worked great! My hands sometimes look like I just got done washing them and shook my hands instead of drying them level of sweat. It's disgusting. It made my hands feel like they were sealed with something, BUT my hands would sweat more at the gym, and this prevented it while also providing better grip with the "sealant" texture it provided.
James! Please try the Airyday mineral mousse or zinc sunscreen - I used to use the La Roche Posay religiously, and have since swapped to Airyday. The oil control is fantastic and smooths the look of pores.
I worked at a department store selling mostly Vichy and La Roche Posay. The idea with the mineral water is that they use water from springs in France that have historically been used for skin healing because of the naturally occurring minerals in the spring. The idea is the minerals are important for skin health and hydration, the way certain minerals are important for drinking water to be hydrating. That’s the marketing info they gave us 😊 Mineral 89 is the best!!
There are 2 types of the Mineral 89 cream, there's a light and a rich one... I love it, however, that version of LRP sunscreen I don't like, I prefer the hydrating version of the same line even though I have oily skin!
I love the Vichy Mineral 89 serum. It makes my skin feel so hydrated! A cream seems redundant, but I might try it. Edit: I press the LRP mineral water into my skin right before putting on the Vichy serum and it seems to escalate the hydration.
please review Tropic skincare? They're quite pricey and i'm not sure how much they fell into the "clean beauty" trap. (might only be available in UK - i'm not sure). I would love to hear your thoughts!
I tried the Carpe face cream and also got some for my sister at the same time since we have horrible sweat genes, and it didn't do much for either of us. Especially if it's summer and you're already sweating (though I know it says ideally you put it on when not sweating, in the summer I'm already sweating after a shower). It was really disappointing since they emphasize that their brand is for extreme sweat--like hyperhidrosis bad. I also tried applying it a bunch throughout the day like sunscreen, but the face product tube is so small that you'd run out of it in no time if you used it that much. I did like their sweat wipes, but either way, I don't think it's worth the money. You're likely better off with some toner or something mattifying. Both products I tried smelled super strongly of tea tree oil. P.S. I also received their ads a ton on TikTok, even after I already bought the product and clicked "I'm not interested"! It went away for a bit but eventually came back.
Thanks for taking some hits for the team on the advertised products. I've found la roche posay sunscreen to be non-irratating but a little too shiny on my somewhat oily skin.
The thing with antiperspirants is that they work best if you apply the the previous evening and allow it to get in there and work, if you apply them directly before going to a situation where you might sweat - it won't have time to start working as much as you'd want to.
Just a psa: the carpe deodorant line DOEN NOT work in high temp/high humidity environments! 😳 Living in south Florida & traveling to the Caribbean often I can guarantee it will fail you 😢 BUT it’s great for colder less humid environments.
Deodorant girl going on about how sweaty she is and how dry her pits are while not being sweaty at all is so funny to me, like girl we both know u just threw on that workout suit and scrolled insta on the couch for 20 min before before you made the vid 😭
PSA for my sweaty/hypohydrosis friends! "SweatBlock" wet wipes are a godsend! I use them everywhere including my face and haven't had a single embarrassing moment since. 10/10 recommend
Can you use the normal one on your face or do you have to get the face one? Also any best place to buy it ? Sounds like something I need like yesterday .
@@Hulachowdown they have ones specifically for the face but it's a less strong formula. I've used the full strength ones on my face and it stops sweating for about 4 days. It stings a little at first but it goes away. Never had a breakout or rash from it.
I find it actually really funny and wasn´t at all surprised when the Hello Klean Wash didn´t do anything against the bumps. I mean she showed and mentioned to us only her arm as an example and after she´s done she literally shows us her decoltè as the result. I can mess with and gaslight myself, thank you. 🤣🤣🤣
My husband uses the Carpe lotion for his hands and feet if he’s going to be doing something where he needs them to stay dry. It’s not an every day thing, but if he’s at a conference or somewhere with a lot of handshaking or something it helps. It’s not 0 sweat, but less than normal.
I've been using the la Roche posay Uv imune athelios matte cream for about 12 months and never look at another suncream again, I had severe nodular cystic acne and my dermatologist recommended it to me after i came off isotretinoin it honestly made a huge difference and its a daily part of my routine, it never gives me any shine and it is truly matte but I guess it must depend on skin type? It sits really well under makeup too, my liquid foundation just glides over it
I love La Roche Posay's anthelios formula, so far it's the only chemical sunscreen that doesn't sting my eyes uncontrollably. BUT it stains all my clothes yellow faster and darker than any other sunscreen I've ever used and it's unbearable. 😭
I bought that same sunscreen a few weeks ago. I have a very very severe atopic dermatitis, my skin barely produces any oils, so i have to use very thick moisturisers every day, night, summer and winter with tonics and essences underneath to recover hydration. I bought this sunscreen thinking it would make me look less shinny in hot weather, and omg, it dries me out so bad that I have to put vaseline between my moisturiser and the sunscreen! It literally sucks out any product I apply before it, within 3h-5h I'm dry as the sahara desert.
I hate the tight feeling face lol. I used to just use whatever bar soap on my face and it would be so fricken dry and itchy until i put moisturizer on. Even now i absolutely must put some type of hydrating products immediately after cleansing. I can't wait any amount of time 😂😂
Me too! My face is incredibly dry and no matter what type of cleanser I use- ie balms, etc. my face still gets really tight and dry *immediately* afterwards. You know what I’ve found that has been helping SO MUCH with my dry skin? Essences. Like Dr Ceuracle Kombucha tea essence or Pat McGrath Rose 001 essence are both phenomenal at immediately restoring deep hydration to the skin. It has completely changed my skin, even with all the serums and good moisturizer I use.
I struggle with a lot of redness on my face and I love the Biore UV Aqua rush watery essence, it is a chemical sunscreen but my skin does not react to it at all. Very lightweight, feels like a water cream moisturizer. I tried the La Roche Posay invisible fluid but stopped using it because it made my skin tingle....
@@JamesWelsh WAIT A SECOND after all of the k/j beauty you've tried, THE bioré UV aqua rich watery essence ISN'T one of them?! That's just bananas. I feel like it's the first Japanese sunscreen most people fall in love with. I'm shook James, shook!
Hi James 👋🏻, Disclaimer: I’m not a Dr, I’m not anything to do with the beauty industry or the pharmaceutical industry. However, I did have pernicious rosacea. *Soolantra* on prescription in the UK cleared my rosacea completely, so much so that I don’t need to use it anymore and I am completely rosacea free.
I prefer the liquid version of the LPR UVMune oil-control sunscreen. Lighter and has a natura finish, less shiny than the cream. It isn't completely matte, but it does help with oiliness. After I mattify it with powder, it stays put during my 11hr shifts.
Don't touch my La roche posay!. 😅 Jk. It's really good, it's one of the few sunscreens that I do not break out from. I use it under full face of makeup and they have also spf in aerosol (??) bottle to spray it on my face throughout the day 😊 really love it
Lab muffin Beauty Science did a video (or maybe a short) about those aerosols. Apparently in order to get the same coverage as a cream, you need to spray a LOT.
There's no correlation between KP and dry skin. In fact, I have oily skin and my KP is quite bad. So maybe that product helped the TikToker with both, which is great, but there's no science behind that. KP basically needs to be treated like acne. Exfoliation is key and you're going to want to use some kind of acid like salicylic acid or AHA. I've recently started using urea with AHA mixed in. It's too soon to tell if it does anything, but urea is another product that's highly recommended, so we'll see. To be completely honest, the very best thing for my KP is the sun. Unfortunately, I'm very fair skinned and burn easily, so I always use a strong SPH, but if I do end up getting sun exposure, my KP almost completely clears up.
The grüum hair conditioner is super nice... the rest is really just... a no. I tried so hard to like it but it will only make you itchy because of dryness. Its okay to admit you don't like it. The conditioner is the only thing you should try. Its so nice, smooth and not drying at all.
4:17 I only use dove soap to wash my face once a day and it feels normal lol, normal/cheaper soaps are straight up painful to use just with how drying they feel
As a user of Mineral 89, and LOVE IT, I did love the cream, but it wasn't amazing, just really nice for my skin. And they do only come in one size...(I work at a drugstore in Canada)
hi james:) great video. you mentioned KP near the end of the video and i was wondering if you could make a video or reply with what products help!? also whilst i’m requesting lol, could you maybe do a video on products for malassezia? 😅😅
I've heard ppl accidentally cure their malessezia on their foreheads after using dandruff shampoos, head and shoulders specifically. They noticed the dandruff shampoo from their hairline was clearing their acne and that's how they discovered it was fungal acne. You can use it all over the face a few times a week they say. Have a research, dont take my word but ive heard of it used for this.
If you want a mattifying suncreams buy the Avene one it's factor 50 still but feels like a mattifying primer when dried in very good under make up but leaves a bit of a white cast
Hi james try the La roche Posaey anthelios non tinted sunscreen. It will look super dewy for like 5 minutes but then it dies down.. i have combo skin and have used it since it came out! The non oil one you used is chalky.. don’t like it!

With antiperspirants, applying the night before is ideal. It gives the aluminium a chance to get to your sweat glands because while you sleep, you don't sweat much. Applying when you're going to be awake and sweating prevents the aluminium being able to do its thing.
I've heard this but I sweat in my sleep quite a bit... 😅
@@thegoosegirl42 same!
Interesting, thank you for sharing this!

Apply sunscreen immediately before sun exposure.
It is a reformulation of the one you use right now. Are the new L'Oréal filters approved for use in Australia?
I'm looking forward to hearing more about the Elbas' skincare line and your interview with them!
Nikkitutorials does a video with the Elbas. it's pretty good
The LaRoche Posay sunscreen is my holy grail for the warmer months and it works amazing under makeup and never pills with my other skincare.
@@skrittle555
Yeah!

I tried it once n returned it, I smelled like death 😩
For anyone who wants to try going low or 'zero' waste in terms of skincare there are a few things to be aware of:
1: A lot of so called 'zero' or 'low' waste products contain natural ingredients.
@@Lady.Fern. Literally did not tell people not to buy zero waste, just to be aware of certain things to look for if they do so.
Thank you for pointing all this out!

Thank you for checking out Carpe! I’ve been seeing the ads and was interested in it since I sweat easily
I'd be really interested in their scalp product as that's my problem area.
Carpe has done wonders for me. No anti perspirant has ever walked on me and I swear a lot. The first day I used this and went a whole work day without sweating at all I was so impressed. I’ll never buy another deodorant ever again!
Me too! I do use secret clinical strength which works well for me, but I’m so happy I found another brand and gave it a try
Have you've tried the products other than deodorant? I sweat so bad on my top lip an scalp an am thinking about trying this.
You're right. Citrus isn't good for your skin. There's a reason we use them to clean counters and stoves

I’ve just been bingeing yours and Robert’s videos. You guys are the best :)

I also have little bumps on arms and legs, especially during summer - and I use Ordinary 7% glycolic acid. Works perfect for me - skin is clean, no bumps or akne
ooh, i have to try that
I do that too and gets them off quick.
Was looking for a comment like this!!! I have very sensitive dry skin so Im considering getting something like it !! Would you recommend it?
@@semjart If your dry skin is caused by hard water, then yes. If it's caused by something else, I don't think you NEED this. For me, this body wash helps because my hard water makes my eczema worse. Also, I will say, I'm in the US and shipping always takes a few weeks for this body wash
Love your reviews and videos for years! And I am so glad I can trust your honest reviews 😍 thank you
I tried the carpe face under makeup for a hot august wedding. It did NOT hold up in fact it broke down my makeup worse! I’m not surprised it doesn’t work in the underarms 😢
Another option for bumps/dry skin/tough dry skin, CeraVe Salicylic lotion. Absolutely transformed my skin after half a dozen uses
LRP UVmune 400 fluid No parfum is one of the only sunscreens that doesn’t make my melasma any darker or worse. for people curious about the Hello Klean body wash, I've tried it (am using it now).
I feel like I was catfished thinking I was getting both the twins by the thumbnail double 😂 ❤
James! Please try the Airyday mineral mousse or zinc sunscreen - I used to use the La Roche Posay religiously, and have since swapped to Airyday. The oil control is fantastic and smooths the look of pores.
Omg you have no idea how much I needed to see this
Oh, James! So sorry you got sunburned. You’re still a great influencer. Remember, it’s all about progression over perfection, because perfection…
Carpe has been so good for me! I sweat through my hands and feet and those products do wonders for me!
Same here, combo skin.
I like LRP but have found cheaper sunscreens to be just as good on my dry sensitive skin (and also don't like the weird bitter smell)
@@isabellamorris7902 which ones ?
The thing with antiperspirants is that they work best if you apply the the previous evening and allow it to get in there and work, if you apply them directly before going to a situation where you might sweat - it won't have time to start working as much as you'd want to.
Lush coalface is literally my favorite soap. I thought they stopped selling them here but now thanks to you I now it's just renamed, thanks a bunch!

I've been using the CeraVe SA wash for my KP and my skin does feel nice after, but how would you compare it to the product you've been using?

Hi James 👋🏻,
Disclaimer: I’m not a Dr, I’m not anything to do with the beauty industry or the pharmaceutical industry.
I use it under full face of makeup and they have also spf in aerosol (??) bottle to spray it on my face throughout the day 😊 really love it
@@thyartiseva I missed it out sorry 😭 I’ve updated in a pinned comment
Lab muffin Beauty Science did a video (or maybe a short) about those aerosols. Apparently in order to get the same coverage as a cream, you need to spray a LOT.
The TikTok “viral” scented body oil got me 🙄 ordered nearly two weeks ago and still no notice of being shipped 🤣😩 I knew better than to give in!
time to dispute 🤣🤣
Ohhh that’s sounds nice though!
Okay flex, I can’t wait to see your Idris Elba interview!
Have a research, dont take my word but ive heard of it used for this.
when practicing skincare with facial hair, are you supposed to wash and condition it like hair? or do you wash and treat your skin over the hair?
