    You are obviously skilled at this. Sadly, this does not translate into teaching ability. If the goal of the video was to impress us with your ability, you succeeded. If, however your goal was to instruct, . . . well, not so much.

      WHEREISTHEREASON ..... you are correct that this is indeed not a training video, but more of a demonstration on how a specific tool is used in the industry.... just like college tuition, it costs money to learn a skill that will make you thousands if not millions of dollars in your career if you are successful at it. I’m currently putting together a paid subscription website that will enable you to access tutorial videos down the road. Thank you and stay tuned.

    Hey Brice I know this is old but I’m wondering which you like better the standard pirate hook or the slow bend?

    • @cfldentrepair
      @cfldentrepair  3 роки тому

      I actually think I like the slow bend because it’s a little more versatile. Only downside is that it’s a 7/16” shaft. The latest version of the pirate hook has a different head design and is half inch which a bit more powerful ⬆️

    • @raymondezell7378
      @raymondezell7378 3 роки тому +1

      Right on sir. Thank you. I’m actually glad to hear that I just ordered the slow bend. Haha if I like it I’m sure I’ll end up with the standard. Also did you get the online tutorials up and running? If so where do I go?

      @Michael Rich
      Hey dont laugh! When a person knows about metal, the truth is that any thing at all can work. Its not the tool but understanding metal. I thought I did and made giant and costly mistakes. No tool can make a dumb person better but a dumb tool can make a smart person get the job done. Smart tool and smart person, sure thats magic. When I was learning metal work and welding, i watched our teacher move the whole firewall of a BMW with only a 3 oz hammer. If you know where to use the hammer and how, you can do it. Im not that skilled but ive seen miracles with the most minimum tools and effort, even with tools not appropriate for the job at all. And to answer you, go to a junkyard and buy anything, like a nice curved old fender. Take it home and hammer a big dent in it. Using nothing but that golf club, fix the fender. It might take you a year of experimenting and trying but at the end it WILL work because by then you'll know something about metal. I watched a guy at a car show take dents out using nothing but, i dont know, like 3 paper clips and a can of beans, something like that.
