Erica rocking out! Flush the toilet. Don't comb your hair over the sink. Don't hog the shower or bathroom. No alarm clocks! Air your smelly feet outside, not inside a restaurant. Take your TP with you or use something else. Put tips on your poles. Talk quietly when going through small towns early in the morning.
@@caminotellers LOL You have plenty of time. I love that you are stopping at all the same towns that I stopped in. (yes, I finished on 30 May, after 46 days of walking)
This brings up a question I had about while walking on the Camino. Is there a side (of the path) one stays one, if slower than the group? I would think you keep to the right? Then if you are passing someone that is slower than you'd like to walk, do you pass them on the their left? Also, what if you have to go to the bathroom, but you are out in the middle of nature and there is no "facility" around? What does one do?... as a female? Thanks
Camino is a really easygoing place, no rule apply apart of being helpful and understanding as there are people of all ages, nations and cultures waking the Way… and the “toilet question” we have a video about it and many comments of the community, this could be helpful!
Great video. Love your channel. QUESTION: Is there Camino etiquette against running on the trail? I have the idea of doing the Camino as a trail run... Maybe better would be on the camino mozarabe that has fewer pilgrims and longer days... What would you suggest?
I've walked the Frances, the Portuguese and a few others, and I've seen runners. There is no etiquette against running, it's all good! Walk (or run) your own camino.
Mozarabe wouldn’t have as developed infrastructure as French Way.. but it all depends of how long you can run. Have also in consideration the time of the year, it can get hot in Spain 🇪🇸, hugs
@@caminotellers I live in the Alpujarra, so I have learned how hot it can be. Possibly in September is a little bit less hot. 50km per day is a possibility and do most in the early morning.
Really? How much toiletries can any one person have? Ricky, asking (for all we know a lady) to borrow their underwear. Nicely presented and very funny....
I was wondering the same thing. I backpack and will wash underwear and soaks to hang up to dry in tent at night. Also, I sponge bathe at end of each day on trail and this is without indoor showers and sinks.
Actually don’t worry about smell everything stinks anyways. I literally couldnt wash for days at the Beginning. But i was on camino del sureste less popular But actually youre Fine Even if you stink don’t worry
I know it’s comedy and it’s a funny video, but i have a serious problem with all these ‘unwritten rules’. Many of them make good sense, many are pretty arbitrary. People are sometimes too judgmental and too easily annoyed.
We think that until one is here it’s hard to understand and adjust. But once on the path the “rules” are easily digestible… camino people are a comprehensive crowd, I think 🤔

Thanks Dave!
Lend me your underwear, please !!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👏👏👏
Funny and sweet too with a great message ❤

I'd add this: sort your pack out the night before, not first thing in the morning at 5am while others are still sleeping.
1:10 🤣🤣🤣Like that entry and the mattress check🤣🤣🤣👍👏😉
Observing other pilgrims… and myself too ;)
So funny! Great video.
Thank you! 😁
I died with the duolingo lesson of full volume lmao

Toiletries? As little as possible! But it’s better to have your own ones, that borrowing a nail clipper from someone else… :)

This was a rather funny video, if we would have to be realistic, probably they would ban as from the UA-cam and Camino too… :)
We like your style!
You look a bit like Vincent Van Gogh
A bit… you’re not the first one saying that!
I met almost all of them! But you are missing one (two) important - pilgrims having sex in a full albergue
Noooooo
Can I borrow your socks and underwear 😂😂😂

Smoking as they walk😮😢🤮. Walking with blaring ghetto blaster 📻
This is a great blessing-seeing how many people with different backgrounds are on the same path
Indeed
Maybe what is wrong is a person telling anohter how to do things. Nobody lays accross the camino ... come on.
Mr Free, Comedy is an art exaggeration and metaphor ;)
skipping the preperation people are better craic than the boring ones who are over prepared and talk about their gear for an hour
