i thought the basic idea with the oxygenics was to increase pressure while reducing consumption to save fresh water and room in your gray tank?

I thought that too going into the purchase but my wife has pretty thick hair and she wasn't going to ever be able to get the soap out of her hair with it like it was. My modification got us the pressure we needed. We don't boondock much so I wasn't worried about filling up the grey tank or using all of fresh water supply. You're right though, know your needs and adjust accordingly. It sounds like you should leave it as designed if water saving is your goal. Thanks for the comment, like and subscribe.
