Very good video, and I admired Jeremy's views on the housing conditions, it was only too bad that the music was often almost too loud to hear what he was saying.
Thank you Peter, you are not alone with this and I have taken it on board. Now I listen through more than one set of speakers and make sure the background music is actually in the background! All the best.
we should all live without rent and be able to have quality housing off the grid and live communally without a government. i meant the general freedom this guy has but ideally existing houses would be personally owned by the residents because rent is theft
I agree that we now need to concentrate (humans in general) on decentralising government and taking responsibility for producing our own power in a sustainable fashion (no-one actually wants a nuclear power station next to where they live, right?) and leading our lives as we see fit. I believe there is hope for the future as technology enables us to manufacture what we need at home (3D priniting), produce power (solar), control our ability to trade (cryptocurrencies). These ideas are evolving at an incredible rate but until we are able to reduce apathy of the general masses through education the situation cannot change. It is up to us to present a positive vision of the future.
a revolution can happen but i agree that more people need to be educated and support for an anarchist society needs to grow. thats not to say that those that already there shouldn't do everything they can right now, including living like this if they can.

Loved the poem/ditty.. fabulous and VERY true! And threw me into a moment of deja vu for some reason. Always contemplated this and am in the UK but not sure anywhere is free now or safe for a single woman to do such a thing. I think what we all want is the freedom to move around anywhere and everywhere we wish in the world, without control, or someone dictating what we can and cannot do. For me, what society is doing, is de humanising us with constant laptops, programs, computer games etc, so we lost our human connection to each other and to the Earth. If all electricity stopped tomorrow, I wonder how many of us would even know how to survive off the land or what is safe to eat and what is not. How many of us could utilise nature and plants for food, healing and medicine, not many I would say. We are, as agent Smith says in The Matrix, like a virus, that rapes and pillages the very thing we need to sustain our lives, the Earth. And ok yes, the powers that be created it, but we were all happy to use the next app, or laptop or technology. We were and are quite happy to live in our houses made of glass and brick. Where do people think the concrete comes from? Magic land? It comes from the sand they dig from the ocean. And we wonder why the land is collapsing. If we could go back in time, before radios and televisions and foresee where its all leading, we would have more sense hopefully. One can but hope. Loved the vid, God bless.

Hi Steven, this is Nathan of We Ain't No Hippies. I met Jeremy last year in Glastonbury and decided to film him as he is rich with experience and ideas. I myself have made the transition from a house to a vehicle full time and have lived this way for over a year now so I am happy to share myself to help. For simplicity I would buy a vehicle already converted, when doing it yourself costs can spiral. With regards to finding communes it really is a matter of finding where others park up and moving around until you find your kind of people. It sounds like a needle in the haystack scenario but within 6 months of myself doing it I was starting to recognise other peoples vehicles on the road knowing the person driving it. This is the real community, many are open to share their knowledge. I hope this helps, even if just a little. All the best Steven, Nathan.
not everyone can do this and not everyone wants too, but the more people make youtube video`s and the more exposure it receives the more likely it will be that sooner or later someone will do something to stop or at least control and tax this way of life, if you think otherwise just remember there was a time when quadcopters were considered harmless toys, it`s not that way now.
Last 5 years and the homeless has doubled and whose been in power the Tories and the other lot are no better, time has come to stand up together or fade away to nothing !!!!
I know! The guy doesn't want to work and chooses this so why the 'for just £3 a month' music?? In some ways I envy him! I've got a big mortgage but the cost is two parents working more than full time.
nah man, off grid living means living. scraping by in filth and squalor isn't living. thriving off grid in comfort and peace is the goal . self sufficient not on benefits demonising the hand that feeds.

what about income?
Hey John, it's a valid question and one I personally talk about here > ua-cam.com/video/QunC1TOPLzc/v-deo.html
not everyone can do this and not everyone wants too, but the more people make youtube video`s and the more exposure it receives the more likely it will be that sooner or later someone will do something to stop or at least control and tax this way of life, if you think otherwise just remember there was a time when quadcopters were considered harmless toys, it`s not that way now.
Grinding poverty
🤘💕
Last 5 years and the homeless has doubled and whose been in power the Tories and the other lot are no better, time has come to stand up together or fade away to nothing !!!!
Chop wood and prep kindling day b4. Just saying.
Admire ur way of life ..
Jesus was not a bum!
Where does he get the money from to pay for the diesel to do his travelling, then tax, insurance, what job does he do.
And P.S.
Jesus was a myth
Wait till you die - then you'll find out there is a God. Too late then.
@@rayburton8774 did I mention god, and if I deny god is he going to send me to hell when I die,
Ray Burton - if there is a God (so many to choose from) he/she/it will be all forgiving, surely...
he may not work and lives on the dole,
@@brianfranks1477 He has a free spirit, you're like a cart horse complete with blinkers.
Slightly prone to a little exaggeration possibly here...
Interesting video. BUT THE FUCKING MUSIC!!!!!.
The music is crap nad not needed
I know! The guy doesn't want to work and chooses this so why the 'for just £3 a month' music??
In some ways I envy him! I've got a big mortgage but the cost is two parents working more than full time.
Not really off grid, more given up!
nah man, off grid living means living. scraping by in filth and squalor isn't living. thriving off grid in comfort and peace is the goal . self sufficient not on benefits demonising the hand that feeds.
