Ever try making a sweater jacket out of felted wool sweaters? Thrifted 100% wool sweaters, washed on HOT with a bunch of towels, dried on hot in the dryer to shrink, then you can cut them up and piece them into the pattern, and nothing will fray, AND it'll be super dense and warm because Canada lol. And YES, I have trouble seeing some things before I do them. It's very human. That's what mock ups are for! You're killing it. Your thinking process is sound. Keep it up. Thank you genuinely for the advice. We can all grow as a team! I know of the words understitch and top stitch 😅 I've seen how sometimes they will flatten seams??
