Two of the best things you can tell a non-metalhead to help them get into it are 1. Treat the vocals like another percussion instrument. With cleans, the vocals are their own melody (most of the time). With harsh vox, they become a rhythmic thing, usually following the drums and riffs. This is especially true for Meshuggah. 2. If they can lock in with the rhythm on the drums, like a 4/4 crash or high hat hit, then they can lock in with the music itself. I've converted most of my friends to at least understand it, if not love it, just from this. Big ups for the Valheim sticker btw.

Usually the issue for non-metalheads is the screaming. So to lure them in 🙃 you should show them some metal with less screaming. A lotta bigger bands here so I particularly appreciated seeing Cultist and The Browning. Would love to see one from Before I Turn's latest EP, Better Lovers, Black Tongue's Nadir Album, Orphan, or Gut Fauna.

a few metal Trasks made the dude cry.
thats the kinda thing I like to see. people open minded. and now is trying to bridge the gap between metal and rap.
A new subcriber from Malaysia. Dudeeee just awesome.
Love these videos, and all the songs I've been getting from them. Keep on keeping with converting these non-metalheads!
Ah I loved seeing imminence get some play in this. Most underrated band currently. Saw them live and it was the best show I’ve ever seen.
Imminence is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED.
idk but so many girls starting to love metal with fit for a king as a gateways
I just watch these videos now to find new songs for my playlist. Whoever is picking these is crushing it
This vid is awesome, seeing metal fan vibing adds a lot as well. So happy to see shadow of intent there, elegy is soooo goooood.
Spiritbox and Sleep Token do be the current baddie core bands that get non-metal people (and especially women) into metal these past few years lmao
Usually the issue for non-metalheads is the screaming. So to lure them in 🙃 you should show them some metal with less screaming. Here's a list I would recommend:
Lacuna Coil - Delirium
Lacuna Coil - Reckless
Lacuna Coil - Nothing Stands in Our Way
Lacuna Coil - Save Me
Lacuna Coil - Layers Of Time
Infected Rain - Passerby
Spiritbox - Halcyon
Spiritbox - Circle With Me
Spiritbox - Rotoscope
Spiritbox - Blessed Be
Spiritbox - Yellowjacket (feat. Sam Carter)
Architects - Doomsday
Or maybe some instrumental?
Fractalize - Prophet of Despair
Fractalize - Visions
Fractalize - Suneater
I think from Spiritbox it would be good to show them stuff like Secret Garden, Constance or Too Close, Too Late without any screams. Yellowjacket is sick song, I love this one but it could be too heavy for them.
Your editor is a legend for that Denny’score clip alone
Non-metalheads reacting to "girl metal" could be a great video
Beautiful
Edit: I would kill for y’all to play my song Stillwater in one of these videos, it’s with Left To Suffer and got a disgusting double breakdown at the end. Love the content :)
I gotta hand it to you, Stillwater is a banger. The vocals are insane as well, very well done.
@@theKashConnoisseurTHANK YOU SO MUCH!!! As a soloist that plays all of the physical instruments and vocals, it means a lot. It is BY FAR the weakest song off this upcoming ep though :)
@@RetriMusic gonna be a 💪EP then! Looking forwards to it.
@@theKashConnoisseur thank you 🥹 it’s loaded with awesome features and almost too many breakdowns
Every time you guys post something, I have new music to add to my playlist! 😅
Same 😂 I usually know about half the artists they play.
This music makes me really happy :) great video!
i jus started going back to the gym and i just found so many new bands for this its so fuckin gooooooooooooooooood keep these vids up bro its awesome ... i cant wait to hear these tomoro at the gym
Nice!! 💪
Entertaining!
Would be great to do the first listen with different metal genres: Heavy, Death, Black, Doom Metal. Especially those with more clean vocals.

Would love some more Nu-metal picks! (slipknot, early deftones, linkin park, Limp biskit and RATM)
It’s so nice seeing The Browning getting some appreciation.
Oh I was wondering if you had a playlist with these bangers and clicked the description 😎
Metalcore would be so lit to see people reacting to!!
Those Who Fear is totally underrated! Loving the videos. Keep it up! 👍🏻
Thank you!
They can find it easier to get into it if they started with songs with a lot of clean sections, but this is definitely the way to go LOL Go for genuine heavy and see how they react to it. A lotta bigger bands here so I particularly appreciated seeing Cultist and The Browning.
Would love to see one from Before I Turn's latest EP, Better Lovers, Black Tongue's Nadir Album, Orphan, or Gut Fauna.
Caitlin is adorable. She’s trying to vibe with the metal bros and we appreciate it 😂
gotta do all female vocalists next
Editing is on point :D
Whoever adds all the edits needs a raise 😂
Every song here is such a fkn banger, put me on so much good music with this vid.
I don't know any of these people and this is the very first time I get one of your videos on my recommended, but I love this lady with all of my heart and would gladly curate a playlist of "radio-frendly metal with harsh vocals" to give her an easier introduction to the genre... And I literally have zero playlists ever made.
Her literally grooving because the guy she was paired with was enjoying and hyping herself up when she found something she could "get" was so wholesome, and her excitement when showing Hardy (I've never heard of them before tbh) because she knew he would enjoy some parts of it... I would gift her my firstborn son, no questions asked.
Also the music selection was really nice, I would appreciate a playlist with the songs for my own enjoyment 👌
props for putting with blood comes cleansing in there
So glad you put Imminence there
So pumped to see Those Who Fear represented! 🔥
I see Imminence in the list - I watch whole video.
