Mcdonalds leaves the salt out of the soups on purpose in Portugal, so the customer can salt it to taste.
The cabbage soup is called 'caldo verde' (green soup) btw. One of Portugal's well known dishes.
Portugal is on my bucket list to visit. Fascinating history, but I have to admit, I want to eat like a pig there.
Do they provide a few packets of salt do you usually have to ask for it?
@@jackwalker9492 I just recently went to Portugal and it was great. Try to do some research and find some small local shops in the area you go to so you can try some more traditional family type cooking. Also if you are driving be prepared. There is tons of round abouts that have a lot more exits than the usual round about.
Those beach and cave vistas were EXQUISITE😍
The Portuguese food looks absolutely wonderful. Thanks for sharing all these delicacies. Also glad you liked Portugal!
Loving the Greece vids, finally.
Wish you'd name some of the places you'd visit. What was the villa in Zakynthos?
Ok I'm officially jealous, Greece has been on my bucket list since forever!
That sardine bruschetta looked amazing. Yummy!
This was so exciting to watch. I LOVED Athens so much and Kyklamino was my favourite restaurant. I'd get a slab of homemade moussaka for dirt cheap and it was unforgettable. I still think of it often.
Polvo in Lisbon, ahhh that's one of those meals I'll always remember. Tiny restaurant on the bottom floor, high on the hill flanking one of many cobblestone alleys. Live music, friendly people, impeccable food and service.
Ive actually been on Zakynthos and seen that ship and turtle island. Great trip, would recommend!
Love you Mike!
Breathtaking 😍😍
Okay Mike, every time I hear you bit into a egg tart I get the chills ❤ and any seafood is GREAT there! Awesome
McDonald's Canada had fish and chips several years back - it didn't sell so they never brought it back. It was a box of their regular fries and a good sized fillet for $7.50 CAD (about $6 USD)
Mike really knows how to iron a shirt 😊
And fish out sponsors.
8:44 “Falls off the bone, clean!” Apparently it also falls off the fork.😂
Mcdonalds leaves the salt out of the soups on purpose in Portugal, so the customer can salt it to taste.
Also you can save the receipt and ask them to get the icecream at the end of your meal.
I was like "Where's Porpugal?"
😂😂😂 It’s Mikenglish
That's exactly what I came to say 😂 bless typo's for a good laugh.
That's like when he's in New York he gets bagos When I'm in New York I get bagels with Lox and Cream Cheese.

@@lindamccarthy8887like he called it portugo right at the end 😂
I've never been to Portugal, but Porpugal seems even nicer, gotta go there :D
zakynthos is where my grandparents are from before moving to mainland greece before world war 2. i've never been but like any greek island its beautiful and i will go one day. Thank you for loving my country.
Mike, since you've been in Greece, you need to visit Bulgaria at some point as well. I believe you wont regret it
wooooo! amazing!
You need to go to the Azores, Portugal and go try all the different food on a few of the islands!
Oh we love Zakynthos! 😍
Love from india Mr.chen welcome back again
Even ancient ruin inscriptions, Mike can still see food. 😂
Yes wrinkled shirts are back! Oh wait this was recorded over a year ago.
it's almost like hes a person and going through his own life 🙄
Wrinkled shirts never left.
What's the name of that hotel at start?
i'm not sure if other countries do this for their breakfasts in mcdonald's, but i know that in england we definitely have a breakfast wrap that's delicious :p
Baba de Camelo = Camel Spit / Came Drool...and yes, Manteigaria for me, is the best spot in Lisbon for Pasteis de Nata
Mike, why do you have a haircut like Justin Bieber? Lmao!
Cervejaria Ramiro in Lisbon one of my most memorable meals ever so far…will go back just to dine there again
Same. It was a bucket list moment!
Absolutely terrific!!!
CBO is also in spain and has been here for years!
The sardine dish looked very good and I would love to try😋
Greece...Best holiday destination ever!!!
Early.💃🏽🎊 Hi from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 When are you coming to visit my islands Mike?
The soups will come without any salt, you need to ask for salt packets to put it in the soup :)
That is so magical 😍 only trouble is you have to have a lot of money to be able to afford a vacation like that 🥺
Big tasty chicken! I always use to get the homestyle chicken with big tasty sauce sooo good
Porpugal, my favorite destination
what is the name of the hotel ???
My favourite was the maestro burger with mushrooms best one in mc ds pt
Where did you stay on the island?
Where is this and where is this hotel?
Amazing!❤
Everything looked soooo good. Wish you salted the soup and tasted it.
9:57 where's PORPUGAL Mikey?
Moussaka is lamb not beef isn’t it ?
No
Love your content!😊😊😊❤❤❤
Exactly! Is he uploading past stories?
that ship wreck that yoou were looking down on was used in Descendants of the Sun (2016)
its also not real and was placed there for a tourist trap
I thought the same thing, saw it and was like...wait a minute 😂
@@plummet3860 I do hope that's sarcasm.
@@plummet3860 It's real. Seriously, who creates such internet fairy tales? 4Chan?
You can the history of the ship easily on the internet.
When I went to Portugal to visit family, I remember being floored by the cafe section in McDonalds. They had some pretty decent coffee and pastries. As someone from Canada, I’ve never seen that before and I miss it
Portuguese egg tarts are the best. 🤤
This vid was like 2 years ago Mikey
Um no says 1 day ago lolz
@@littlebigkicker this was filmed in 2021
@@akabill79 but it says 1 day ago 🤣
But ok
Has he been married 2 year's already? Wow
Georgous!😍
Porpugal??
I laughed hard at that error
Water is actually clear, it is just reflecting the colour of the sky.
That's a myth. Water is naturally a very slight blue that isn't noticeable unless it's deep enough. There's a whole wikipedia page about this.
@@WimpyMcWeaksauce Ah, you are correct, I learned something new.
Great job as always!!! Those McDonald's sandwiches look better than America's!!🙏🇺🇲🌍
I wonder why Mike hasn’t traveled to Australia yet… a lot of Food content UA-camrs have and love 💕 our country.. and its very weird that Mike hasn’t been here yet.
Does he have a ponytail?
Does he ever put links to &/or even just names of the restaurants he visits somewhere? 🤔
You should get some Meta smart glasses to free up your hands for some shots. 🤓
Go to scotland and eat there pies.
Where is this "Porpugal"??
Awesome job Mikey say you get strawberry smoothie with whip cream.
Greece looks stunning 😍
How much is the plane ticket to Porpugal?
i hope you'll be visiting Boracay, Aklan or Coron, Palawan in the Philippines
I've been dying to find Portuguese egg tarts in my corner of the US to no avail. There are "egg tart" adjacent pastries in cake shops here, but it's not the same at all. Super bummed.
The balkans is gorgeous all across
You go to Portugal and Greece and the best you can do is McDonalds? Really?
Got a great tan, Mike.
❤
Shipwreck. You realise your now a Pirate Mikey! 😂
Ayooo Kansas represent!! 👊💯
could you please share the location of the Chinese restaurant?
Really all this for a comparison of Mc Donald’s ??!!
Food in the US has 2 purposes.
#1 keep you medicated and in the hospital
#2 keep you addicted
Mike finally you came to portugal, you definitely need to try out more of our cuisine, its made for you
This was 2 years ago
Oof
Hey Mike. Oh wow 😳 Totally different McDonald's than in the U.S. Yummy 😋 I tell you. When i get to Puerto Rico or out of state. McDonald's is my 1st stop. I dont eat it in the U.S. but i will. Just to try it out. Enjoy Mike. 😋🤤🐞❤️
I've swam in turquoise water in Turkey. that ws fun too!
The traditional Greek and Portuguese foods are what I'd go for if ever I went to either of those two countries, for sure. And given how mad about them I am, I'd probably eat way too many of those egg tarts, for even more sure!
With the fish & chips from Mc Donald’s … I would request tarter, to make it more authentic. But it looked ok👀
❤❤❤
you looked so flustered by that custard.
Inside voice Mike 😂
Mas qual ARAR caralho!!!!! Isso é um pastel de natal 😂
Back to the travel blogger roots
And it's 5 in the morning where I stay

Camel slobber. Some things are best left untranslated.
Of all the foods he chooses to say the name of in its native language and translate into english 😂
I swear, one of the most american things is travelling abroad just to eat McDonalds (even though admittedly he does eat local food too)
I had McDonald's in Montreal. Hard no. Milan? Definitely yes
