Nothing beats the whopper though, although in my early 20s I don’t know if you guys remember they had a menu item called “the chicken crunch burger” like almost a decade ago that to me was the best chicken burger they ever made, it was so crunchy I’d get like 3 during lunch and after college too, wasn’t a bad price either too bad they got rid of it 😢

Nice to see you down in our part of the world finally Mikey. Bar Luca is a must when you get to Sydney.
As for the beetroot on the burger, it is generally called an 'Aussie' burger at that point. If it has bacon & pineapple as well, it's then called a burger 'with the lot'. Usually best from a local takeaway rather than your large chains.

Oakleigh for Greek and Mediterranean flavors. By and large, most of the eclectic multicultural foods are spread evenly and in no particular order around Melbourne. In the city center, a concentration of the more interesting European eateries can be found in a place called Hardware Lane, that's if you want to avoid the more hyped, celebrity chef restaurants in Crown Casino.
