J37 is a known oil burner. It’s a beautiful power train but unfortunately will burn oil like a mf. 1 qt per 1k miles. Running it too low will cause camshaft issues is the long run. Luckily j35 uses a different piston seal set so it’s unaffected.

the j series auto engines has problems because of the VCM system that honda used. it caused spark plug and piston ring issues, my parents have an odyssey that had to have the engine serviced for that issue as well as the well known 6 speed auto jerky shifting issues causing it to need to be reprogrammed and fluid change. that only lessened the issue just enough for it to be comfortable. manual should be bulletproof tho aside from 3rd gear engagement issues, the engines for the manuals do not have VCM and should have extremely good reliability with a 400k mile lifespan

Dude 5.5 seconds stock is not that slow. All you would need is a straight pipe exhaust system with the quads and a Weapon R intake maybe after market spark plugs and ignition coil and after market throttle body I bet we could get that 0-60 under 5 seconds

@@blur3253 Frl 💯 5.5 seconds you wouldn't even need a Turbo to get under 5 seconds.
