For those who might not know lady finger sushi is actually okra usually small tender raw okra. But sometimes cooked. My brother in law is half Japanese and his mom was excited thst I was growing lady fingers in my garden up north lol. I wasn't sure what she meant until I had her show me she loved tiny okra when it was tender and she ate it raw dipped in soy and rice vinegar or a sprinkle of good sea salt.
Thank you, I was curious. I assumed that it was some sort of vegetable.. then thought maybe it was something from the sea. Okra makes a lot of sense with the description.
I thought it might be okra or some relative, given the somewhat thick clear fluid you could see on one of the pieces. I wonder if there’s any Japanese soups that use ladyfingers
A Little Tidbit about Hot Tea at Sushi Most sushi restaurants serve hot tea to prevent the fat on the sushi from remaining in the mouth. Also, good quality sencha contains theanine, which affects the taste buds and makes it difficult to taste the flavor of the sushi, so cheaper teas with astringent tannins are served. It is cheap tea that goes well with high quality sushi!
This place looks like a ton of fun to visit. I enjoyed Prawn Racer very much! It would be so easy to spend an entirely ridiculous amount of money here -- and still not feel too bad about that later on!
My wife and I chose this place back in 2016 because there was no line. We went back two more times on that visit to Osaka and once on our visit a few years later. (And we will next time we visit Osaka.) It's just so good and watching your video took me back. The tablets are new and I'm excited to order the specials that way next time.
I'm actually working on learning Japanese so these videos are really helpful, I constantly try to listen to background conversations for things I recognize, and try to read things that show up.
Thank you for including prices in U.S. money so the shock value is real! lol Every plate was beautiful and though it’s impossible to taste the freshness, the color and textures gives the UMMMMM sooooo fresh factor The Burger sushi was so cute. I really hope you enjoyed your meal, because I really enjoyed watching you eat it. 👍
Used to be a conveyor belt sushi buffet in Ft. Lauderdale back around 2000 called Doraku. You could do all-you-can-eat or à la carte. They had red and green sided hourglasses you could flip for service or you could just grab whatever was going around.
The best local sushi though was Kyoya’s Market. It was a kittle hole in the wall one plaza east of The Gateway Theater. Not as good as Tokyo sushi, but as good as Osaka sushi per a friend who taught English as an expat.
1:39 Thu Oct 12, 2023. Hello from Gilbert Arizona USA. I love watching your conveyor belt sushi 🍣 videos and all of your other sushi 🍣 videos. I'm a sushi 🍣 nut 😊i know that you enjoyed your meal. Healthy Blessings as always 😊 6:00
What's crazy is I remember this *exact* store while I visited Japan as part of my school tour. Heck, I didn't even realize they had Green Tea on the house, I would've drank some if I would've known! Oh well, at least I plan to visit again next year
at 4:15 its odd hearing trisha yearwood's 'shes in love with the boy' playing on speakers at a sushi conveyor belt in japan... that so surreal! I love sushi and 90s country, I'd be in heaven there!
"It was like eating a dry steak." Not sure if that was good or bad in this case... lol I like the sneaky chopsticks 3:46 just too cute. The tuna looked so delicious. I would like to try sushi. But, I have not yet because, I cannot eat a piece in one bite. And I do not know the etiquette.
The very first plate and the prawn with cheese and fried prawn was beautiful and looked very delicious. I liked the little burger sushi. I bet it was very yummy. Everything else looked good too.
Iam a really fan of your videos... They are so.. Satisfying... I hope you put more videos ... Also visit different countries and show us varied food cultures
It's always interesting when we hear American pop music in the background of these videos. Especially in Japan. 3:56 But I never, in my wildest dreams, expected to hear 90s Country Music being played in Japan. That was "She's in Love with the Boy" by Trisha Yearwood.
02:29 Oh, yuuummmmmmm! Per my own tastes, there's no possible way you could've seasoned/garnished this one any better. 🙇 (They should 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 be kept so very minimal.)
I wish we had this [but i worry about it cause at least in Japan they take pride making sure their sushi is 100% safe to eat, places in America cuts corners] but still its soo amazing
2 best things in life. A sushi conveyor belt restaurant and a Dancingbacons video! I posted a "Best Pancakes in Hawaii" about the delicious Chantilly Pancakes on Oahu. We should battle! (You'll probably win though 😅)
Wow, lots of items you wouldn't get at my local Kura rotating sushi joint here in Dallas, for sure. Looks yummy, and I need to get back to Kura ASAP, I think, after watching this video.
I think it would be very interesting if you go and make videos of some vegan or veg food sold in Japan, Singapore or Korea. For example vegan ramen noodles or so sold in Japan. That way even people who prefer veg food would also know options of some vegan places because in such countries the food mostly contains non veg in it. And also ur videos are very interesting and calming!!😋😄
Your videos are like asmr to me, I tend to find myself dozing off from how relaxing they are.
Same and they make me appreciate the different cuisine and snacks they eat.
Yea and they always try new types of cuisine
i fall asleep to these all the time. i'm watching right now because i'm having anxiety, and it helps me calm down. they're peaceful and relaxing
Relatable
i want you to doze off in my arms while you watch these videos 🥺 (lethal amounts of rizz)

i was so curious about that, thank you! when i hear "lady fingers" i think of the cookie so i was pretty confused about that. 😅
Okra and "lady finger" are the same just like eggplant and aubergine.
I thought it might be okra or some relative, given the somewhat thick clear fluid you could see on one of the pieces. I wonder if there’s any Japanese soups that use ladyfingers
Must grow on top of the mountain.
Oh my! You struggling with the sticky ice cream had me in stitches - love your content :)
I just love, how there is your partners hand sneakily picking up the second bite in the background
This is the only person I can watch eat something and actually enjoy it. Its cute and calm and doesn't have all these nast af slirping sounds
can easyx watch him but i cant stand his girlfriend

You guys always find the BEST restaurants! Thanks for taking us with you!❤❤❤❤❤
That plate scanner was cool! That's the first time I've seen such a thing.
This place looks like a ton of fun to visit. I enjoyed Prawn Racer very much! It would be so easy to spend an entirely ridiculous amount of money here -- and still not feel too bad about that later on!
Indeed. ¥7300 ain't that bad considering the quality of ingredients...
conveyer belt videos are the BEST. always love them the most

This was such a good video, love the perspective, pacing and closeup shots, very immersive!
I'm actually working on learning Japanese so these videos are really helpful, I constantly try to listen to background conversations for things I recognize, and try to read things that show up.
Great video, so interesting to see the different types of dishes on a sushi-train in Japan compared to other countries. Looked delicious!
I watch your videos to go to sleep almost every night, they’re so nice and comforting to watch
I just enjoy watching you guys eat. The crispy prawn and ice cream made me drool

Never in life will I ever have the chance to taste such fresh things. It looks so tasty! 😋
That ice cream tried so hard not to be eaten ...
Probably would have been alot easier without the spoon, considering it is in an ice cream cone.
I love when “we” go to sushi belt/train restaurants! ♥️♥️♥️
Do people at restaurants see you coming and prepare for battle? DancingBacons is here! Time to boogie!
Although I’m allergic to shellfish I absolutely love these vids… the beautiful colours and culinary skills it takes to prepare these dishes 🧡

6:10 ladyfingers in this case is okra, not the little cakes.
I've seen it called that before. Never had it in sushi, though.
