For those who might not know lady finger sushi is actually okra usually small tender raw okra. But sometimes cooked. My brother in law is half Japanese and his mom was excited thst I was growing lady fingers in my garden up north lol. I wasn't sure what she meant until I had her show me she loved tiny okra when it was tender and she ate it raw dipped in soy and rice vinegar or a sprinkle of good sea salt.
Thank you, I was curious. I assumed that it was some sort of vegetable.. then thought maybe it was something from the sea. Okra makes a lot of sense with the description.
I thought it might be okra or some relative, given the somewhat thick clear fluid you could see on one of the pieces. I wonder if there’s any Japanese soups that use ladyfingers
This place looks like a ton of fun to visit. I enjoyed Prawn Racer very much! It would be so easy to spend an entirely ridiculous amount of money here -- and still not feel too bad about that later on!
A Little Tidbit about Hot Tea at Sushi Most sushi restaurants serve hot tea to prevent the fat on the sushi from remaining in the mouth. Also, good quality sencha contains theanine, which affects the taste buds and makes it difficult to taste the flavor of the sushi, so cheaper teas with astringent tannins are served. It is cheap tea that goes well with high quality sushi!
I'm actually working on learning Japanese so these videos are really helpful, I constantly try to listen to background conversations for things I recognize, and try to read things that show up.
My wife and I chose this place back in 2016 because there was no line. We went back two more times on that visit to Osaka and once on our visit a few years later. (And we will next time we visit Osaka.) It's just so good and watching your video took me back. The tablets are new and I'm excited to order the specials that way next time.
The very first plate and the prawn with cheese and fried prawn was beautiful and looked very delicious. I liked the little burger sushi. I bet it was very yummy. Everything else looked good too.
Used to be a conveyor belt sushi buffet in Ft. Lauderdale back around 2000 called Doraku. You could do all-you-can-eat or à la carte. They had red and green sided hourglasses you could flip for service or you could just grab whatever was going around.
The best local sushi though was Kyoya’s Market. It was a kittle hole in the wall one plaza east of The Gateway Theater. Not as good as Tokyo sushi, but as good as Osaka sushi per a friend who taught English as an expat.
Iam a really fan of your videos... They are so.. Satisfying... I hope you put more videos ... Also visit different countries and show us varied food cultures
2 best things in life. A sushi conveyor belt restaurant and a Dancingbacons video! I posted a "Best Pancakes in Hawaii" about the delicious Chantilly Pancakes on Oahu. We should battle! (You'll probably win though 😅)
Wow, lots of items you wouldn't get at my local Kura rotating sushi joint here in Dallas, for sure. Looks yummy, and I need to get back to Kura ASAP, I think, after watching this video.
1:39 Thu Oct 12, 2023. Hello from Gilbert Arizona USA. I love watching your conveyor belt sushi 🍣 videos and all of your other sushi 🍣 videos. I'm a sushi 🍣 nut 😊i know that you enjoyed your meal. Healthy Blessings as always 😊 6:00
I wish we had this [but i worry about it cause at least in Japan they take pride making sure their sushi is 100% safe to eat, places in America cuts corners] but still its soo amazing
"It was like eating a dry steak." Not sure if that was good or bad in this case... lol I like the sneaky chopsticks 3:46 just too cute. The tuna looked so delicious. I would like to try sushi. But, I have not yet because, I cannot eat a piece in one bite. And I do not know the etiquette.
just spent a few weeks in osaka and tokyo and we were secretly hoping to run into you guys, seeing you were actually in japan at the same time is crazy!
It's always interesting when we hear American pop music in the background of these videos. Especially in Japan. 3:56 But I never, in my wildest dreams, expected to hear 90s Country Music being played in Japan. That was "She's in Love with the Boy" by Trisha Yearwood.

i was so curious about that, thank you! when i hear "lady fingers" i think of the cookie so i was pretty confused about that. 😅
Okra and "lady finger" are the same just like eggplant and aubergine.
I thought it might be okra or some relative, given the somewhat thick clear fluid you could see on one of the pieces. I wonder if there’s any Japanese soups that use ladyfingers
Must grow on top of the mountain.
Your videos are like asmr to me, I tend to find myself dozing off from how relaxing they are.

This place looks like a ton of fun to visit. I enjoyed Prawn Racer very much! It would be so easy to spend an entirely ridiculous amount of money here -- and still not feel too bad about that later on!
Indeed. ¥7300 ain't that bad considering the quality of ingredients...
I love your videos! I love knowing more and more about asian culture, Asian foods, beautiful places... I just love everything!
I watch your videos to go to sleep almost every night, they’re so nice and comforting to watch

I just love, how there is your partners hand sneakily picking up the second bite in the background
Great video, so interesting to see the different types of dishes on a sushi-train in Japan compared to other countries. Looked delicious!
I just enjoy watching you guys eat. The crispy prawn and ice cream made me drool
That plate scanner was cool! That's the first time I've seen such a thing.

The USA sucks!
Do people at restaurants see you coming and prepare for battle? DancingBacons is here! Time to boogie!
Never in life will I ever have the chance to taste such fresh things. It looks so tasty! 😋
these restaurants look so fun to go to!
The very first plate and the prawn with cheese and fried prawn was beautiful and looked very delicious. I liked the little burger sushi. I bet it was very yummy. Everything else looked good too.
Although I’m allergic to shellfish I absolutely love these vids… the beautiful colours and culinary skills it takes to prepare these dishes 🧡
Whoa those plates are beautiful and the food looks so fresh and delicious!
your videos are so satisfying! would you all ever travel to try restaurants that aren’t in Asia?
Wow! I'm speechless! This is amazing food at incredible prices!
Thank you I absolutely love your videos
Love conveyor belt places! They're so cool.
The tuna looked amazing. The color was spectacular and very appealing and appetizing.
Can’t believe how much you ate. It was beautifully presented.
That was very reasonably priced for all you got. Some of those looked so delicious. Now I want sushi!!
That ice cream tried so hard not to be eaten ...
Probably would have been alot easier without the spoon, considering it is in an ice cream cone.
It's really nice to see that they are putting sushi back on the conveyor belsts

I love how the plates have lids so they don't get involved with the licking scandal
I need more of the sushi conveyor about videos❤❤❤
That looked so good we do not have really good sushi restaurants here I am very envious 👍🏼
Fighting with the ice cream at the end 🤣🤣 but I would enjoy that place all the different delicious sushi 🤤❤️❤️
I love your vids
6:10 ladyfingers in this case is okra, not the little cakes.
I've seen it called that before. Never had it in sushi, though.
@@ericdietz1795 me either tbh sounds interesting
This guy need more followers he is amazing 🤩. And plus his videos are also ways worth watching when I’m bored 😊.

I wish we had this [but i worry about it cause at least in Japan they take pride making sure their sushi is 100% safe to eat, places in America cuts corners] but still its soo amazing
You know it’s a good sushi restaurant when they’re slicing the tuna fresh upfront ❤
"It was like eating a dry steak." Not sure if that was good or bad in this case... lol

The tuna looked so delicious. I would like to try sushi. But, I have not yet because, I cannot eat a piece in one bite. And I do not know the etiquette.
This is my dream. Not even the food, because I had great sushi, but the experience.
i open up yt and instantly see a new DB video

Interesting concept.

Oh shit, I went to this exact restaurant when I went to japan earlier this year
everything looks so fresh, certainly worth paying a bit extra for.
Love Conveyor Sushi! Thx Bacons
The little chopsticks pulling the food to the right is cute 😂
Speaking of "Osaka" I just finished watching the Azumanga Daioh anime. 10/10.
Btw, all the food looks so delicious! I'm jealous.
That would easily cost 4-5 times more in the States… yet another good video!
I wish i knew about this place when i went to Osaka years ago
