I love how the special announcement was not pre-recorded (as expected from Japanese). They want you to know that they're really grateful, so it's live right then and there.

So sad that some disgusting people just destroy things for other people and businesses... Good that you guys made an effort to bring this company back up. 😊 I'd love to try this, by the way... It looks delicious in a really comfy and intimate environment. My absolute favourite way! ♥
I really appreciate videos like this. I'll be going to japan alone but I sometimes get very anxious trying to ask for things (like ordering at restaurants) so knowing about places like this and how to eat there is so helpful.
You are so respectful when explaining your dislike for sushi in the UK. I love when you do a little dance in your seat when you are eating. I do the same thing when I love what I am eating. I just found your channel.
Wow! My mouth was watering seeing those beautiful plates of sushi. This young man has a very impressive appetite, with 16 plates of sushi, ramen, chips and dessert, not forgetting the beer at the start. Everything looked delightfully fresh and appetising. ❤
When I was in China Town in San Francisco 2006, there was a restaurant that had this system. I loved it! You had to grab your food from the belt when it came by, it had your name or number on it, can't remember which. Been a while. =) It was fun since we had our teen kids with us to experience this new way of getting your food.
I just found out about this place can't wait to visit, I really like the way you showed the experience, prices and explained everything. Thank you for the video
As a resident of the UK I would like to formally apologise for Tesco pre packed sushi. I am pretty sure an international court would consider it a crime against humanity. I am happy to say that in many UK supermarkets there is now a sushi counter where it is at least prepared fresh that day and with better ingredients. It is not like even cheap sushi in Japan but it is getting better!! Love your videos 👍
I got super lucky. My city here in the US had a sushi chef from Japan move here with his family when his eldest daughter went to college. He was "retired" for like a year before he opened a sushi restaurant right beside my work. I ate there about 3-4 times a week. I couldn't help it, I was addicted. Totally unlike every other sushi I had ever had in the states.
Thank you for helping to support Sushiro after the incident online. People who are visiting Japan and enjoy sushi like me are very excited to be able to come to places like this. You gave money to help them stay open, we are very lucky for this!
I live in the UK and I'm pleased that the supermarkets now feature special Sushi stalls inside the store where they sell usually Yo! Sushi or something similar. This is at least better than the pre-packaged stuff as it's made fresh and they have things like Wakame seaweed salad.
Yeah even in our country (Italy 🇮🇹) we had some sushi stalls where they make directly there the sushi. And everything they made is made directly by actual Japanese who went to live in Italy and makes perfect sushi. Of course they cost around less than €10 (1.481 🇯🇵, 10,95 🇺🇸) for every single of sushi package. They in rare occasions makes some bentos. I get even to taste even fresh Mochi’s in like: Cheesecake lemon, White chocolate with raspberry and default Chocolate. And even an Mango mochi. I get to eat them every once at week.
I don't go to the supermarkets for sushi. I found some really nice places. Well, I never had true Japanese sushi, so I think they're really nice. There's loads in London, and there's at least one or two in all major cities. But it is a bit expensive, though. I suppose you can't find the cheap, good quality sushi restaurants like Sushiro in the UK.
As an American, I find it so interesting that in order to order drink you only had to click "yes" - here, they would definitely check your ID card first! It seems there they just trust you to be honest. That's nice :) sushi looks delicious, thanks for sharing.
Thank you for teaching us and including so many details about Sushiro! It's so interesting, we have nothing like this in France but I wish it was the case, it seems so delicious!😩
I lived in Japan for over a year and I miss the food a lot... specially SUSHI, my favourite thing in Japan alongside ramen. I wish we had sushiro but in my city in Europe, we have a sushi restaurant that is "All you can eat" and it's very very good and cheap. The sushi is very nice, even though it's chinese owned.
Yeah most Japanese restaurants in foreign countries are not owned by Japanese, mostly by Chinese. Japanese should look outside of Japan.🤣There’re are huge demands and business chances cuz people in the world like Japanese food.
I'm glad I came across this video. The food looked so delicious, and although I don't think I can eat that much, I would certainly like to try as many dishes as I can. ❤ Thank you for sharing!

Its honestly so fun watching your vids. Your explanations about the food/culture/restaurants are fun to listen to. Please never stop making videos like these! Arigato!🤍
I am learning SO much from your channel! Thank you very much for explaining even the mundane things so Westerners can understand. I fly to Japan often for work and this has helped me not be a typical ignorant American.
I worked in an old school family restaurant under a Japanese chef making mostly traditional Sushi in Singapore before attending university. Though that was almost 30 yrs ago, it has shaped my preference for Sushi. I absolutely cannot accept those modern Sushi especially those in modern Japanese restaurants in California USA. I still enjoy traditional Sushi like Tekka Maki, Nigiri Sushi and must come with speck of Wasabi in them😂
Thanks , I was terribly slow editing videos. Yeah, you should try Sushiro if you come to Japan. There are more than 600 Sushiro in Japan. It’s everywhere and easy to find 😄
I genuinely appreciate the informational videos people post about food and the proper way to enjoy their cuisines. This is so helpful and hopefully ill make it to japan one day and just take it all in from the city to the countryside to the mountains and everything in between. Theres so much i want to do there and again, videos like this help me make the best decisions when i eventually go there
I love how you strongly defend a restaurant! It isn’t an everyday action and I really really appreciate it!! I was stationed in Atsugi Japan from 2010 to 2012 and we had an awesome resturaunt like this near the base. It was called Sushi GoRound and it was delicious. The rules were more relaxed than even this as the conveyor belt always had a wide variety of sushi that would go around and you could just grab a plate and eat. When you were done eating, they'd count all of your plates (the price changed for each color of plate with white being the cheapest) and give you your total. The sum was always less than I thought it would be and the sushi was always fresh and tasty. It sucks that some people choose to behave poorly and ruin a good thing for others. Thanks for taking me on a trip down memory lane.

I found this video really useful. I'd love to take my husband to a conveyor belt sushi place that is actually recommended by a Japanese person who KNOWS their sushi. A terrible first experience will really taint my view of sushi as I'll assume that's what it's supposed to be like, not knowing any better. A great first Japanese sushi experience is what I'm going for next time round. I'd love to go to a high end sushi place but they're just too hard to book a reservation for without doing it quite a way in advance. Mid-range conveyor belt is what I'll be aiming for. Thank you so much for showing me a decent place to try so we can feel confident and excited about it.
Thanx for your comment. Unlike in other countries, you cannot find nightmare-sushi restaurants in Japan🍣 Don’t worry. It’s Japan, Sushi country. Most of the sushi restaurants are up to snuff level at least.

The US has some conveyor belt sushi restaurants too. The one I go to the most is called Kura. I love it because you can always eat the exact amount you want, and you'll never order too much or too little. It's fast, delicious, and every time I go I think more restaurants should use this format. Kura has a machine you put the plates into and it counts them all up, which is fun.
It terrible to know that there is some people that have nothing else better to do but to try and make everyone else’s life, work, or other things that are most enjoyable to others.
