When you think about it, this soundtrack has the "awakening" feeling in it, befitting Sora, Donald, and Goofy who just recently awakened. By contrast, Lazy Afternoon in Roxas's story, Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days has the "sleeping" feeling, not only because the title has the word "lazy" in it but also because, in many ways, Sora (or, in the case of Chain of Memories, his memories thanks to Namine/the Organization messing with them) is still "sleeping".
ahh the childhood memories when I was 14, now 26 and I use kh music like a lullaby to put my 3yr old daughter to sleep.. who also loves kh when I play it😭💙💙
I challenge whoever is reading this to think about the highlights of their childhood while listening to either this or Lazy Afternoons and not tear up🥲
I do agree! Twilight Town brings those feelings to me, like being in some sort of peaceful home city. I used to hum this song in my head whenever I rode my bike at the evening sunset, at my town. I miss those times, but I must remain working and learning until I can ride bike on the streets again.
Say what you will about the world that never was ost, this theme has a more heartfelt goodbye to the journey Sora took throughout the game. Could not think of a better theme for the endgame
I love this theme so much but nothing hits me like the original version of this song from the classic PS2 Kingdom Hearts 2 with no ReMix or anything, the nostalgia of that classic just brings me to tears wishing to go back to when I was about 9
for some reason after sora left the memory pod, and when I explored twilght town I felt the city empty, and with this song playing it gave me a feeling of sadness seeing the city almost empty
@@Xemnas.1 I associate it with peace and relaxation. I do think of Roxas a lot when I hear this. I've cried a few times to it. *Also I just noticed the irony with the pfp and name*
Sora, Donald, Goofy, we just met someone who was looking for you. He sure seemed like he was in a hurry. He had a big, black coat on so I couldn't see his face. But he did have these big round ears.
This one is stay close to the original, with cello part near the end of the piece. In Kingdom Hearts III version, beside cello, they also added oboe, flute and violin parts near the end of the piece.

This theme's missing the sounds of people chatting and a duck and dog looking for ingredients

Tbh in my opinion it’s better without them looking for ingredients still love kh3 tho
Hahahahhaha that was creative
strangely enough, this song makes me feel more like I'm out with a single friend just walking about the streets and chatting more than Lazy Afternoon
DUDE YOU DONT KNOW HOW GLAD I AM THAT I FOUND A 15 MIN VERSION OF THIS SONG. JUST,,, THANK YOU.

this is the sound of my childhood 😢

I fail every time :)
This music feels like walking at sunset after work. I mean during going back home.

I swear everytime I hear this I want to cry god its so emotional for me
I don't care what anyone ever says! Afternoon Streets will always be the superior TT theme for me. I love it so much.
もうロクサスは居ないんだっていう事実を突きつけつつ優しい曲だからより残酷で儚く悲しい曲に聞こえる…😢😢

Anybody else wanna live in twilight town?
I’m more of a traverse town person but twilight town is cool too!
@@phantasy675 Eh, Twilight Town is safer.
I wanna live in Twilight Town. Especially when they always have sea-salt ice cream!

Absolutely, a cozy little town in the middle of summer and sea salt ice cream, what more should be said

Definitely. It feels more at home.

Theme of dying (or winning if you know how to reflect) to Lexaeus
Can someone tell me what the string instrument that comes in and continues to play at 0:44 is? Is it a cello or a double bass?? Thank you
This gives me Narnia vibes
I just wondered.. does it ever go night time in Twilight Town? I know they sleep and all, but for once I never seen the moon-

What’s the difference between this version and kh3’s version?
The KH3 version is more orchestral heavy, especially with the strings and reed/wind instruments in that version. Both are beautiful though!
This one is stay close to the original, with cello part near the end of the piece. In Kingdom Hearts III version, beside cello, they also added oboe, flute and violin parts near the end of the piece.
This one is a remake of the OG KH2 version with real instruments and the KH3 version sounds more twinklish I guess
In this game, food ingredients aren't a thing.
The KH3 version also has music box moment.
