I honestly love this theme as a whole package, how each version has drastically different tones. Yeah there are a lot of remixes in this series but this one I think is one of the only ones to have remixes and you can actually feel what it's trying to convey. Like this one is a beautiful theme but still has a sense of danger and mystery to it reflecting the world itself, beautiful but mysterious and dangerous. The one in 358 is a place you call home so the theme is more calming and soothing, not really much of a sense of danger since there is none yet. And last but not least my favorite one, mystic moon, is a theme where you realize the place you once called home actually really sucks and it's really a place of deception and filled with dangerous people, so it really amps up the danger factor in the theme. That's my take on what the themes represent and I love it.
The song. It keeps switching between 3/4 for the vox and 6/8 time signature for the piano at 40 seconds, making it feel like a waltz dance and then giving a break for a moment before going back to the waltz. It makes it feel scary, yet you want to keep moving because you are trapped in a never ending dance. Top it off with a battle theme that starts off with war snares and an organ? Then a world that is in perpetual night with a looming heart moon? Perfect combination. I actually like KHII best because it focused more on the vocals to give it a more eerie feel
@@sekrion9506 my guess is that the arrangement with the bongos is really popular or maybe Marty heard it in his circle of composer friends and really liked it cause when Reach came out that was a whole console generation after KH2.

@@ZacSonicMee And of course Sora himself. And Xehanort too. These themes are what we call "leitmotifs". Leitmotif means a _recurring_ musical or literary theme, associated with a certain person, place, idea, or situation. That's why it's commonplace to name them after what they're representing. Take for example, the themes we've mentioned. They're named after those characters because they are specifically tied to the character in question. Same with the Organization's theme. It doesn't have to be named after it, but it's common practice, and one that makes it quite easier to distinguish each leitmotif.

KH 3 style world title: Darkclouds with thunder the heart shaped moon appears, zooms out as the castle is shown rising, camera continues to zoom to reveal memories skyscraper as it starts to rain, zooms out more to the city as the nobody thorns grow and the title appears. THE WORLD THAT NEVER WAS
The Chronicles of Kingdom Hearts: Vexen's Notes Organization XIII's Knights of Cerebus: Number VIII, Raxyn, The Angel of Death, The Nobody of Rainer Raxyn's weapons are a scythe called Righteous Judgment and a book called Reaper's Tome. Raxyn was found by members Saix and Axel in The Realm of Darkness, seemingly scarred, but sleeping peacefully on The Dark Margin. Raxyn often goes on solo missions to different worlds to eliminate corrupt politicians, celebrities, criminals, and other perceived "sinners." Amusingly, Mixona also tags along unannounced to many of these missions. The boy is often too deep in his own angst, emotionlessness, and religious fervor to understand why. Despite being a Nobody like the rest of us, Raxyn still seems to have enough sense of self to follow a major religion from his home world, Chicago of Earth, and aside from the standard organization attire, almost always sports a mysterious crucifix hanging around his neck. Said crucifix glows when grabbed and can be used to enter a power state similar to that of Saix's beserk mode. I have dubbed this mode, "crucible state". In terms of actual appearance, Raxyn has shoulder-length jet black hair, blood red eyes, slightly pointed ears, slightly elongated canines, and palish skin. His age seems to be around 18-20 years old and he has a fairly sullen demeanor despite his zeal for his religion, although perhaps that may be the only thing he truly cares for anymore... Raxyn's elemental ability classification seems to amount to "holiness." When fighting an enemy, they will be put under an invisible "sin gauge", which determines how much damage the boy's scythe, Righteous Judgment does. His book, The Reaper's Tome, seems to function similar to a device from a certain world of detectives and investigations... Anyone whose name is written in the Tome can be tracked across almost all worlds and realms. Amusingly enough, some pages of the Tome also contain pages from his world's religious texts as well as pages from his favorite literature. In terms of how this "holy" ability seems to look to a layman, think of heavenly white, light blue, and gold colored flames. Last but certainly not least, despite the boy's rather sullen personality, like the rest of us, he likes to open a battle with a saying. Raxyn, when opening a battle: "Your sins are too far, and your sins are too great. You shall be judged for eternity without end, amen."

I also agree that it's very big brain naming, but it at least makes sense, given Kingdom Hearts having a trend of naming songs after who/what they're literally for (i.e Roxas, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and I think Kairi and Riku).

Just stop it Sora
Theme of grinding Final Form.
Anyone remember that final level from The World of Illusion? This tune reminds me of that.
“What about you, Do you remember your true name?”
best end game zone ever in the series. truly has that heavy ambience you'd expect. the first game'a end zone just seems... overdone... to a degree. just my small opinion.
Aw, what's the matter, sleepyhead? We jumped through a lotta hoops to get you here, but it looks as if it's gonna pay off.
When the heck did that line play? I don't remember who or when that line was said.
@@kevinkaslana9060 Dream Drop Distance, with Sora arriving in the World that Never Was when Xigbar shows up.
@@davidtimmer596 Gotcha. Man, I never heard that one before, so it completely threw me off.
KH 3 style world title: Darkclouds with thunder the heart shaped moon appears, zooms out as the castle is shown rising, camera continues to zoom to reveal memories skyscraper as it starts to rain, zooms out more to the city as the nobody thorns grow and the title appears.
THE WORLD THAT NEVER WAS
It isn't complete without that digital noise of your foot steps
The Chronicles of Kingdom Hearts:
Vexen's Notes
Organization XIII's Knights of Cerebus: Number VIII, Raxyn, The Angel of Death, The Nobody of Rainer
Raxyn's weapons are a scythe called Righteous Judgment and a book called Reaper's Tome.
Raxyn, when opening a battle:
"Your sins are too far, and your sins are too great. You shall be judged for eternity without end, amen."
SMT 2 Law theme?
Thought that I was the only one to find similarities! heheh!
Wow, never hear of the game your referencing, but in looked it up and...
Yes definitely a similarity.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh my god I totally see it now
Relaxing song but not as good as the original
Michael Rodriguez yes, yes it is
This track has mild Meta Knight energy when played at 1.65x speed.
Illusiopolis
I always get to lvl 99 once i hit this stage anybody who is playing this you just have to run through the whole stage from start to finish and everytime you make it to the final door jump in your gummi ship and start over at the beginning and SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS LVL UP EVERYTIME FOR REAL I FIGURED THIS OUT YEARS AGO.
thats such a waste of time. xemnas is easily beaten at level 40+.
I just wanted to abuse him never fought him at anything less so I don't even know what its like to fight him normal you said lol 40 ill try it brother
There’s way better ways to level up doing that would take like a whole month to get to max level when there’s strays to get to max level in like 2 and a half hours
fun fact, this is also the hymn of the fayth from final fantasy x, you can hear it clearest about forty seconds in.
Not even close
Reminds me of Konan
Junko: i should have gotten rid of you years ago.
I can't believe you managed to get this far and forced me to watch loli hentai.
Can someone make this theme with rain in the background?

When you realise twilight town and this world, were two sides of a coin
Xehanort dislike this theme.
Do to the fact that Sora is in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Sakarai should of put this Theme in for Sora on his Playlist.
This one hits a little too close to the heart
I got a keyblade
I think I would have been more clever to call this track "Untitled" imo
Sounds like metroid
The URL is getting upset, it's wondering why it exists.
I had to look at the URL address to know what you were talking about. Lo and behold, the ending three letters are just 'WHY' 😆
This remix is incredible! Providing I credit you, would I be allowed to use this in my newest video? (My videos are not monotised btw 😅)
yes you may, I have no problem with people using these tracks for their needs as long as they don't claim to have been the ones to extend it lol
@@PoloDaReaper Oh of course not homie! And cheers
Kh2 better than kh3 mis the feeling from kh2
Facts dude, one thing I hated about KH3 is that they took away all the cool final fantasy characters and added way too much Disney
@@mannyoommen2768 they even made twilight town fucked up, the happiest place on kh ---> saddest place on kh
Honestly, for me the updated graphics ruined everything. The games were too much apart, same series but a much different feeling. I dont even remember most of the story parts, it just felt generally very off.
