I like you drive perspective with the camera, thank you!
I really love this gray SUV! Nice video bro.
Awesome job really appreciate the detail in the video wish you where local dealer.
Great review really enjoyed it
Thanks for the review, I just purchased the 2020 With the SLT trim package, wish mine came with the electric tailgate
Nice review. Thank you sir 👍
Very nice review! I also highly recommend that buyers consider that the front passenger seat (at least in SLE trim) lies completely flat, so you can carry long items with the trunk closed, such as lumber, skis, fishing poles, surfboards, human corpses, etc. To me, this more than makes up for a few cubic feet of "cargo space" in the back. Also, I agree that the higher ride than other SUVs is very nice.
It lays flat in the SLT also
also on the denali
I have a 2021 Terrain SLT as a rental while my 2011 Terrain SLE is in the body shop for hail damage repair....all I can say is, I want my 2011 back. The seats in the 2012 are much smaller (narrow) and it doesn't even begin to have the features that my 2011 has....drives like my 2011 though....not sure I would put the money in a new one....I will drive my 2011 until it won't go another mile.... :)
Nice! Some people have reviewed this engine and said it felt starved for power in an acceleration test (flooring it), but it looks like it's quite competent in regular city driving.
I have the 2020 1.5L ... Sometimes you feel like you're driving a Yukon not a terrain and you'll be more than satisfied with it , and sometimes it'll disappoint you especially in roads where you need to catch up the speed with other cars . In general it's an OK engine performance
@@azizalkanderi8441 My mother has a 2012 chevy cruze with the 1.4 turbo and it has turbo lag. The car has to learn your driving habits. Sometimes it will fall on its face from a dead stop if you've been driving the car like a grandma. It will respond and change gears quicker when you drive more aggressively all the time.
The 9 speed transmission is a world different than in the Equinox and makes the thing actually work.
The power is no problem. I have a 2021. I pick up speed with no issue and the acceleration is very smooth. I traded in a 2018 equinox and this thing has wayyyy more power. The equinox was so bad when friends would drive it I would warn them not to do anything crazy in it because the take off speed was terrible. Of course they didn’t listen to me and would be like “what the hell”.
Can't help but be curious what the Pontiac version would have been
Thanks for the review! Would you say this would be generally comfortable for a 6 ft tall guy or do you recommend the Acadia (or something else)?
Both work fine for me and I’m 6 foot 3
Yo what up, and
Merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas!
This is a great review, one question, do you think the 1.5T engine is enough for this car?
Yes, but people like me who keep their feet in the floor, we need need the 2 liter turbo. 😂
I like everything accept how you shift the vehicle. I rather have the gear selector not buttons
I have been researching new cars, and this seems to be the way it is in the higher priced models.. even Hyundai has done it... :(
I agree. It's just more expensive shit to replace when failure occurs. Mechanical is way cheaper to fix than electronic. I opted into the extra electronic warranty when we purchased the 2021 SLT. Seems EVERYTHING is electronic in these newer cars.
H8 buttons😟
@@TONYTHETlGER bet you that shifter is still electrical ;)
I've been driving the 2.0T Slt in exact same color and I have no any issue with pulling the bottoms, it's very comfortable to me
I have the 2021 slt I had a malibu and hated it to low to the ground I love my stl just wish the seat went up a little higher but then again I am short I wanted the Acadia but there were none to be found when I was purchasing and not sure what the L is for I don't feel a difference when I push it what is it suppose to do? Edited: almost a year now I have also now notice a smell every now and then when the A/C is running that I have had checked out that GM is aware of but haven't been able to fix.
Just a low mode for climbing high terrains or pulling something small.
Anything gmc 👍👍👍👍👍
I have a 2.0 litre 2020 Terrain turbo engine with the start/stop function and I don’t even feel it anymore. My car is rated at 252 h.p. and I get very good m.p.g. travelling at highway speeds. If you get into it hard all the time it’s obviously going to burn more fuel. My car does require premium fuel but the power for passing is worth the little more per fuel up. I don’t think my engine option is available for the 2021 models. Too bad!
The best engine the Terrain had was the 2.0 which they got rid of after 2020. In favor of the 1.5 as the sole and only engine. It was a TERRIBLE move by GMC. They could have at least kept the 2.0 as an extra "cost option" or made it standard on the Denali trim. It put out 252hp and 260lbs torque. As opposed to 175hp and 203lbs torque for the 1.5. I hope they bring it back in 2024 and later models. Especially, when other car manufacturers are offering 2 or 3 different engine choices. Nissan for example took a HUGE gamble going with a 3cyl turbo but it puts out 200hp and 225lbs torque. And it's paying off big time for them. Bottom line is if they don't bring back the 2.0 because of cost issues etc...They have too increase the HP on the current 1.5. Because 170-175 is not cutting it. Honda's CRV puts out 190hp they could easily do that mated to the 203lbs torque. You'd be surprised folks what 20 extra HP will do for this vehicle.
GM needs to put the same gear selector found in the Chevy Equinox and drop the button gear selector!
I agree
Any way to deactivate the auto-stop?
I don’t think so.
Cant turn off auto stop which sucks!!! If your stuck in a traffic jam not moving for 10 minutes or more you will have no heat or air.
Love it with the exception of that Start/Stop option....cannot be shut off.
The Start/Stop cannot be disabled ?

Hi! Can u tell me how to activate blind spot alert? I have a GMC Terrain 2020. Thanks
If it has them, you should be able to toggle on the radio.
Best design this is my car in iraq basrah
Do they a 6 Cylinder model? I am not a fan of 4 cylinder cars. My 2012 Terrain is a 6 cylinder.
No, there’s just the 1.5 and 2 liter now. 😔
@@NothinButCarReviews Ok great! Thank you. 👍
@@NothinButCarReviews 2 liter has been removed for 2021 and up. Only the 1.5l remains.
👍👍👍👍👍
great vehicle..great review...1.5 liter..underpowered maybe? thats what concernes me...
It’s good for the most part, just lacks in acceleration in my opinion. Love the 2 liter turbo though
How much is the RPM at 70 mph?
Think around 1800-2200? 🤷🏾♂️😬
@@NothinButCarReviews not bad
Why don’t have sunroof
Option wasn’t included on this one
Is that engine sound normal?
I’d say so…
Bring back the 2.0 liter Turbo engine.
Driving this right now as a rental... I hate this thing, I hate the push button shift and it has absolutely no guts obviously.
Oh and the amount of road noise is laughable.
Why do all gm engines sound like garbage, you can hear so much ticking even new ! v8 v6 or 4 banger 🙄
Hyundai creta bigger than this
I like that suv, but The screen has no definition, it is deep inside and very ugly. The Chevrolet Equinox screen is more beautiful and with a lot of definition it even looks like a table, I love chrvrolet screen !!!
@Micheal Kleyman i saw you comment the same thing on a different video but i feel like you are spamming
Can't see it the back side windows. Why would they raise the body panels like that to block the view? Dumb. They need to provide an off switch for the stupid "engine stop-start baloney". Looks like the ride is kinda bumpy as well. Conclusion: typical overpriced GM product.
