Winter with this car is no problem! James.exe stopped working for a second there when I said wash the steering wheel 2 times in a row 😂 for the record I meant wash the windshield!
I just bought this vehicle. I am a older female and at 1st I was afraid of it because I was use to a much smaller car but I have driven it about 700 miles and really have warmed up to it. I ordered the rubber floor mat and was a little put out about their price but they are the best floor mat I have ever see. Well worth the price
Coming from a Chrysler Town & Country with 283hp to the Terrain I expected to be disappointed by it’s acceleration on on ramps. The 9 speed transmission and turbo work perfectly together. The mid range acceleration performance is quite surprising in a way that exceeds what you expect based on its zero-60 time. The 30+ mpg highway (USofA) also exceeds expectations.
Glad to hear it's working out for you! Some were disappointed that the more powerful engine option disappeared on this, but it still seems to work out well enough for buyers.
GMC dropped the ball big time in getting rid of the 2.0 engine. That 252hp and 260lbs torque was PERFECT for this vehicle. So folks if your in the market for a Terrain i'd look for a 2020 since that was the last year it came with the MUCH better 2.0 engine. Also, i don't like that they took away the dual chrome exhaust tips the Denali had and i believe ALL 2.0 engine models had. It was a nice touch. The only nice thing they added was a dedicated off button for the start/stop system. But this is easily shut off in older models by switching the vehicle to L instead of D before driving and pushing the + button up 9 times. That in turn tells the vehicle it's a 9 speed auto. The only problem is you have to do this every time you start the vehicle but that's a minor nuisance compared to getting rid of such a great engine.
I too think they should have kept the 2.0L engine. I understand the accounting reasons why they dropped it, but in a market where people are looking for more power at the higher end trims they've really taken a step backwards.
@@PRNTestDrive Thank you...!!! Hopefully with enough consumer complaints about the 82hp difference yes you heard that right folks 82 horse difference. Then they will break it back and give us more choices like other car manufacturers do. I meant too ask you how did you feel the 1.5 was in terms of getting up too speed and merging in traffic, on ramps etc...?
Yes winter tires! Michelin X ice and snow SUV! I cannot recommend winter tires enough especially with the weather Canada and parts of the US have seen this week.
Agreed...!!! Considering they foolishly dropped the 2.0L engine in favor of this 1.5. Don't make matters worse than you already have GMC. And why did you have too get rid of the chrome mirror caps and exhaust tips. That was such an elegant touch for the Denali trim. C'mon GMC stop cheapin out...!!!

I'm still laughing over 'extraordinarily unintelligent' during the driving segment, that's my new favourite quote!

Glad to hear you're enjoying yours, congrats on the purchase!
Just bought this car in white. Hoping it does well in the extreme Alberta winters. I have a feeling it will. Be safe!
It should, enjoy it!
From another Canadian. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
GM's cold weather test track is in Kapuskasing, Ontario.
Seems to be paying off! Never had an issue with a GM vehicle in the winter.

GM has been and is coerced by the Biden Regime.
Very few people bought the 2.0T, why would they bring it back?
With winter tires or all season tires?

Always winter tires in Québec.
No mirror turn signals also!
They are there, just at the tips rather than across the whole mirror.
IT CAN do well in deserts?
Maybe 🤷🏼♂️ We don't have any here to test it in.
Don't want electric I like my 2022 slt awd terrain

Wish.com Max
Wish it had a hybrid
GM is certainly behind when it comes to that, which is weird because they had a bunch of Hybrid SUVs over a decade ago.
